Bill and staff are always very helpful. I regularly bring jewelry in for repair. The staff is knowledgable and Bill always available to talk about the specifics of the more challenging repairs. He is more that fair in helping to choose among the best alternatives so that my wife is completely satisfied. If needed, he wil bring in an outside expert to make sure all is done right. Bill and his team do an amazing job! I've always loved this one ring but it was old, worn down, and missing some stones, so as a surprise, my mom asked Bill to match my ring and custom design a new one. I couldn't of asked them to do a better job, the ring is beautiful, I wear it nearly every day and I am so appreciative of Bill and his team.

We got our engagement ring here and Bill and Margaret were absolutely wonderful to work with. I grew up in Simsbury and Bill Selig Jewelers was always a go to place so I was happy to look for an engagement right here. They helped me get pictures of the ring ahead of time and as I live out of state, when the ring was ready (around Christmas of 2020) Bill met me at the store after hours to make sure I could pick it up. Highly recommended!

Honestly, there's nothing I can complain about. I came in to have a gold ring resized, as I needed it to be quite a bit smaller. They determined the correct size and I left it there to be worked on. I was able to pick up the now perfectly fitting ring, which showed no marks from the adjustment, in about a week. They did excellent work, and for a modest price of $51.

All in all, there's not much else you could ask for. They are very friendly, prompt in their service, and offer reasonable prices for quality work. While I can't speak for the experience of actually purchasing jewelry here, I will say that the store was full of truly stunning pieces. I would definitely return here for any future repairs and would recommend it to anyone looking for fine jewelry.

Don't even think of going anywhere else when the best is right in the center of Simsbury. My original engagement ring diamond was reset in a designed setting that somehow Mr. Selig helped me take from a vision to reality and I will say perfection!

We've been customers of Bill Selig Jewelers since our first wedding anniversary while working with Bill, who designed and made a beautiful broach for my wife. On our 25th, I went back and Bill made a matching ring. Beautiful and artistic designs and expert craftsmanship. All in house. So, here I am again to get a matching pendant for our 30th! Bill's craftsmanship combined with the expert and friendly customer service from Margaret and Sue has made it a wonderful experience for almost 30 years!

My wife left work early today to get the battery replaced in her watch. It has needed to be replaced for three weeks. She works 10 hour shifts in healthcare and needs her watch. She got to the store 35 minutes before closing, and was told that only 2 people could change the battery, one was with a customer and the owner could do it, but he was leaving for the day.

It would have taken 5 minutes to change the battery. She has come home late from work more times than I can count over the years to accommodate patients. Too small of a sale? Who knows, but we won't be back. The two stars are only for the polite girl who tried to help.

I have been a loyal customer for 20 years because the people at Bill Selig are helpful and kind and have built a high level of trust. I always enjoy seeing Margaret especially. She's the best!
