Fast Eddy Gold & Diamond Exchange

I went to the orange location recently and had the same experience a reviewer had at this location. I brought a diamond tennis bracelet with small but a total of 3 carat weight in diamonds. this was bought from a reputable jeweler. The woman tested this bracelet with her back towards me, and i could here the tester continually beeping. she then said the stones were not real. just like another man, offered me $240 only for the 14 k gold. I then brought this bracelet to another jeweler who tested the bracelet in front of me and found that the stones are real.

Funny you should mention a tennis bracelet. We have been to Eddy's many times and always found him to be friendly, informative and fair. This time we went and I had a three carat tennis bracelet and my husband brought his Mom's one and a half carat three stone ring. I know I could have shopped around but never thought I would have a problem.

I must say that Eddy was not there, but a woman who told us Eddy was in Florida. She offered us a very small price for four and a half carats. We now think she only gave us the price of the gold because she said diamond brokers want bigger stones. Because of a bad situation we accepted the offer but have regrets to this day and feel we got a raw deal, and wonder if this woman really did know her stuff. We will not be going back. Sorry Eddy!

Never sold jewelry in my life. The owner is a Very upstanding and nice fellow to deal with. More to the point, he gave me more $$ for my jewelry than anyone else offered. Highly recommended :

I still can't get over the fact that I brought in a tennis bracelet that had 2 and 1/2 carrots of diamonds and he only gave me what the gold was worth. When I called back later to question, he told me that the diamonds we're worthless and would have to throw them away or pay someone to reset them and neither one was worth paying for the diamonds.

Their name suits them well. Everytime I see the commercial I just scream at the top of my lungs! I GOT RIPPED OFF PEOPLE! STUPID ME! Ill bet fast Eddy wouldn't dare call me and explain himself. I was vunerable and he saw it and robbed me blind! Don't go there! EVER! 860-882-9984!

Fast eddy very fair, absolute best prices paid and quick. I find alba and eddy to always be professional to all and I have recomended tons of people to sell their gold silver and coins there and they too have been very satisfied!

Fast Eddie is a HUGE FRAUD RIPOFF he will only offer u around 30% if ur lucky for your gold / valuables do your own research before selling your valuables to a cheap bastard like this taking advantage of people STAY Away

I went to three other stores the same day to price out my gold.and Fast Eddy gave me by far and away the best deal! The nicer jewelry stores in West Hartford center tried to give me $300 less and then make me feel bad when I said I was going to look at other places. The gentlemen here was cautious, professional and very nice. The process was easy and very fast. What more could you ask for! Next time.skip the big name jewelry stores, the estate auction stores and just head right to Fast Eddys!

So I found some more crap to sell, this time some old silver coins and a silver cigarette case that weren't worth much more than the metal they were minted out of. I really didn't have the time or energy to shop around this time. But from past experience (see previous review), I knew Fast Eddy would at least give me a fair deal without hassle.

So I did some rough math using current silver prices, and walked in the door thinking anything over $125 would be a good offer. Sure enough, $132 was offered for all the items. Nice. I was in and out the door in about 10 minutes, and a nice hefty check was written to yours truly. The big jewelry stores can't compete with that.

I saw the Fast Eddy commercial on tv, i told my fiance lets go to Fast Eddy! He didn't know what i was talking about so i actually started singing the song "fast cash see fast eddy today". We went to the West Hartford location not knowing what to expect. The service was fast, the staff was friendly and very polite, and not to mention the payout was more than what we expected. We went home telling our friends and family we love Fast Eddy.
