In 1984 Franklin Avenue in Hartford, CT became the birthplace of Franklin Jewelers. It was here that owner and goldsmith, Geno Avenoso dedicated himself to provide every client the highest quality merchandise and expert service. His ability to speak Italian and Spanish would prove throughout his 17 years in Hartford to establish a home family environment to all he served. He was President of The Franklin Avenue Merchant Association, a member of the Knights of Columbus and Italian Officers Association.

I just called to ask a question about a service and I said, Hello my name is Jammy how are you? She said hello, I repeated my sentence. She said what is this about? I said I am calling to ask a question and I was trying to be polite and show good manners. She said can you get to the point? I was shocked, I said thank you-Goodbye. I thought that to be unprofessional. Won't do business.
