I first brought a necklace and then a ring to them to repair. The charm of my necklace snapped off the jump ring, and one of the CZ stones on my ring fell out. They did a beautiful job on my necklace, so I brought them my ring. I asked them to grind down the prongs of where the stone fell out, since my ring was old and a new stone would be difficult to place.

The ring is sentimental to me, but to do a proper rebuilding of the prongs would have been more money than it was worth. When I came back to pick up my ring today, they surprised me with a replacement stone. They couldn't guarantee that it would stay on, but they did their best and I love that they went that extra mile for me. I may have almost started crying in the store, I was that touched. They are so nice and professional. I will definitely come back if I need more jewelry fixed. Thank you!

I highly recommend Jewelry on James for your jewelry needs, especially for custom work! I had a 3-stone ring that needed more "pizzazz" and I wanted to add a halo design to. Tom, the owner, was so attentive and patient about listening to my design idea and exchanging emails and looking at samples to achieve the look I wanted. He is honest and extremely knowledgeable, and won't steer you towards something just because it would be more expensive.

The end result is GORGEOUS, and his pricing is very reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised! I am now thinking of other things I want repaired or customized, and I will definitely be bringing them to Tom and his talented team of individuals. Tom the owner is very down to earth and easy to talk to. He won't over sell you on an item. He actually turned my wife and I away for making a ring that we were looking at because another online jeweler could provide the ring cheaper. That said I have purchased 5 items from him in varying amounts from thousands to hundreds and each time had a great experience. Highly recommend him and have referred friends and family to him as well. Great business!

Never a bad experience. Have purchased numerous times and always satisfied during and after the sale. Showed them a picture of a ring my fiance' liked and they had it custom made shortly after. Also purchasing the wedding ring as well. Always a pleasure!

Less than a year after I got my shiny and pretty engagement ring, a freak accident occurred that resulted in damage to the band of my ring. Two parts of my ring were essentially blasted off by electricity. I was mortified and didn't think any expert jewelry-smith could salvage it. But lo and behold, Jewelry on James came to the rescue and was able to replace the bottom half of my rose gold band and polish up one of the demi-pave diamonds on the band.

It cost $100 to do it. I also had my fiance's wedding ring resized (reduced size) for $25. Though resizing costs only $2 in Russia and $1 in Vietnam (quotes I got from people), I thought this was a wonderful and fair price! I'm ecstatic that my ring is back to mint condition and that I don't have to constantly look at my damaged ring and be reminded of my clumsiness!

The woman who worked at this store was very well-informed and knowledgable about metals and jewelry in general. They sell a great assortment of rings in many different metals. The shop is small but they do amazing work. There's plenty of parking. They text you when your order is ready (for me, it took around 10 days to get the ring back). Both of the rings I brought in were returned to me shinier and brighter than ever. Thanks Jewelry on James! You're a lifesaver!

These folks could not be nicer! The quality of their work is outstanding, and their prices are very competitive. I have brought my jewelry there for years and have always loved how I've been treated and how well they have repaired my jewelry. Last year I brought a ring I inherited from my grandmother in to be cleaned, only to be told I was lucky no stones had fallen out, as it was in very rough shape.

I gave it to them to repair. It turned out to need a completely new setting. I was worried that it would end up looking 'modern'. No, it looks perfect, and has just the same setting as before-better, even. It was always beautiful. Now it's stunning!
