Services
We're a woman-owned, custom jewelry store and studio focusing on original design using recycled precious metals and responsibly-sourced stones in historic Downtown Lancaster City. Since 1984, j.a. Sharp Custom Jeweler has been providing generations of Lancaster County with original and timeless jewelry designed and handcrafted by previous shop owner and artist, Jude Sharp, and other American-made artists. In November of 2019, Andrea M. Amey bought the business from Jude Sharp bringing in a new generation to the helm.
There is an upfront fee of $25 for estimates and drawings for custom work. This fee is to help cover the time spent to design and to research the stones and materials that go into the piece. The fee will apply to each design we make a detailed estimate. This fee will be transferred as credit to the finished job.

Sharp jewelers is THE place to go for quality designs. Great prices great quality great group of ladies running the business. My family have been very loyal customers. If you I can't find it at sharp's no say it this way lol you will find what you're looking for. If not they will handcraft your design. Doesn't get any better than that.

I just picked up a wedding band last week, and I'm very pleased with the quality. Jude did a terrific job not only on the outside finish, but also on the inside. One of the most comfortable rings I own. My only mild criticism is 5e time frame. They are custom made and that takes time- up to four to six weeks, or more. If you want it by a specific date you may be disappointed. That being said, I would by from Sharp again.

My husband had my engagement and wedding rings custom made at J.A. Sharp. I designed the rings and he worked closely with the staff to make sure every detail was perfect. Beautiful design and professional staff is the norm at this store. I won't hesitate to recruit their craftsmanship in the future. Thank you!
