I have been collecting coins and paper money for 40 years. I have never experienced such great deals! This place is not trying to take your money. They are more than fair and are obviously in business because it is their passion. The staff is awesome and incredibly knowledgeable. Weather you are a first time collector or a veteran like mysel, this is the place to check out!

I legitimately come in here every Saturday. They might be stern on prices of some things, but I've noticed that now that I am a regular, I get a little breathing room if there is any room on the price. Arthur is a walking encyclopedia and if there is anything that I need to know I go to him. Just to be clear I go to 5 places regularly and this is where I go for quality and knowledge.

Went here a few years ago to sell some silver coins I had. They told me I had to be 21 (I was 18 at the time) in order to sell them; I tried to ask why but they didn't answer and went back to talking to another customer. So the same day I went to a different coin shop in Portage and sold my silver coins there with no questions asked. This really bummed me out and was always looking forward to finally visiting the place when I moved here since I love to collect old coins :(

BEWARE! We bought a GIA princess cut diamond from Arthur Knight which, as far as we knew, was in the condition represented in the included GIA certificate (#5181536546). The diamond inspected by my husband in person with a 10x loupe before the purchase and he did not see the chip nor was it disclosed. After we received the diamond and took it to be set, a jeweler noticed a chip on one of the corners.
The in-house jeweler would not set a chipped corner princess cut diamond due to the liability of further damage. We took the diamond to a specialist ($120 consultation fee) who said that indeed there was a large chip on the corner and that the diamond had lost 2 points in carat weight and would need to be recut to be properly set. The person evaluating the diamond said that he would not set the diamond (which he doesn't even do anymore.he only evaluates stones and does appraisals, so there was nothing for him to lose personally).
We were advised to not take that liability on ourselves, but to send the diamond back to Arthur Knight and give him the option to have it recut and a new GIA report done and then to consider buying the diamond back. Arthur admitted in a phone call that he knew the diamond was chipped and did not disclose the damage. The damaged diamond no longer matched the GIA report because of the lost carat weight and the chip, and was misrepresented as true to the GIA cert!
According to the specialist we consulted with, this is illegal and fraudulent! All said and done, we are out $120 for the evaluation and over $47 to send the diamond back to Arthur Knight. We sent the receipt for the evaluation of $120 along with request for reimbursement for the evaluation. We sent the diamond back very well packed and properly insured for the amount that we paid for it and were refunded. Arthur decided not to reimburse us for the evaluation fee or return shipping, a clear indication of his poor business practices.
Think twice and be very careful before purchasing anything from Knight Coin and Collectibles. This was a very unfortunate deal that wound up costing all of us and Arthur Knight walked away with the damaged diamond and no money loss other than the $12 that it cost him to send the diamond to us. The rest of us walked away with money and time spent wasted on a damaged diamond with an inaccurate GIA report (#5181536546)!
Know what you are looking at if you do purchase something from Knight Coin and Collectibles. The diamond is truly beautiful and it is really unfortunate that it was misrepresented as matching a GIA certificate (#5181536546) that did not note the chip damage or the weight reduction. Someone else could receive a bad diamond that no longer fits the GIA report (#5181536546) attached to it in the future! Again. BEWARE of these unscrupulous business practices!

Very rude place. Came in and was greeted very warm like but when asked if I needed help with anything I replied no thanks new to area just want to look, immediately the warm feeling of being welcomes left very fast. Was rushed and urged to leave if no actual transaction was to be tendered. Will never step foot in this place again. Will never recommend to anyone ever!
