This is a wonderful place to do business with. I searched high and low to find the perfect blue tourmaline gift for my sister's birthday. Susan was very patient and professional. She walked me through the selection and design of making a custom piece. I received pictures and emails all during the production, presentation and shipping processes. The gift was a hit with my sister and everything done according to my specifications.

I might add this custom piece was very reasonable and not beyond the cost of jewelry pieces already made up on the website. I am extremely pleased and would do business again with this merchant. Well done and thank you Coastal Jewelers.

I have made a few trips to Coastal Jewelers for jewelry repair, cleaning and for shopping. Customer service and quality never disappoints! Staff is always very welcoming and helpful. Repairs are a reasonable price and done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend!

We recently worked with Susan on a custom diamond ring that I had been wanting for as long as I can remember, so this was a big event! Susan was knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble and she soon got to work sourcing and designing the ring. The whole process was very easy and I have to thank her jeweler for setting the ring so quickly towards the end of the process ensuring that I could wear the ring to an event earlier than planned. My husband and I got our wedding rings at Coastal Jewelers and they were AMAZING to work with! Susan was so helpful in getting us exactly what we were looking for, and they were made so quick! I also got my engagement ring resized and polished before the wedding and they all looked amazing! They were so friendly and we cannot recommend them enough! Such a beautiful store!

Coastal Jewelers has beautiful jewelry at all prices. They have an amazing collection of tourmalines, especially watermelon tourmaline, in fact, the best assortment we found throughout Maine. Coastal Jewelers custom pieces are especially nice. I like their wave collection, but fell for a beautiful, rare Maine watermelon tourmaline stone. Susan worked with us and created a unique necklace which turned out perfectly - I couldn't be happier with it. Given all the touristy places in Kennebunkport (and Bar Harbor, etc), Coastal Jewelers selection, customer service and skills are rare.

The owner and team helped us for a few hours to pick out the perfect engagement ring, answering all our questions. We then had the ring mailed to us after resizing and unfortunately it was during the recent election. The ring was stuck in the mail for 3 weeks. The team called us everyday to give us status updates and worked with their local postal office for three straight weeks until the ring arrived. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! Great service and we love the ring!

Sue virtually walked my fiance through the entire design and purchasing process of our engagement ring - we live in Washington DC and she was able to nibbly navigate the process from afar. She was incredibly helpful, responsive, and a true professional throughout the entire experience. Amid COVID 19, she personally dropped off ring cleaner to our house in Kennebunk - service is top notched and unmatched. Thank you for everything, we'll be back for wedding bands soon!

The owner of this store is wonderful! We were very mislead initially with an engagement ring using a sapphire by a large corporate chain. After finding that this store works mostly with gemstones, I decided to call to evaluate other options while working with the previous seller. I recommend her very highly for anyone interested in gemstone jewelry!

She gave advise freely and without any manipulation to purchase with her. I told her what we were looking for and she assembled 8 options that ranged around our price range a couple days later. Both me and my fiance felt so much more comfortable with her, we decided to change the ring entirely. She offered 6 sapphires that we could add to a book of settings (that she had already bookmarked with ones that were my style and fit my lifestyle) and 2 rings.

The other place offered to order 1 stone and I would get what arrived. Summary - highly recommend, owned by a wonderful person who goes that extra mile for you without expecting anything in return. She also is highly knowledgeable of gemstones and you can expect quality. We are so happy.

Beautiful baubles, friendly and knowledgeable staff that knew a lot about the pieces they have. They have a lot of tourmaline, many mined in Maine (which they will point out). A little pricey for me. That being said, a lot of quality pieces.

I just received a tourmaline ring I purchased from this jewelry store after seeing it on their website and I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. These folks are very helpful and accommodating which is really important when you are buying something sight unseen. I asked for a photo of the ring on the hand which was promptly emailed to me.

It looked just as pictured on the website and it helped me make the decision to buy. The ring was securely packaged for shipping and arrived quickly. Overall, this was a very positive long distance buying experience.

I really like this jeweler! First off, the website is fabulous and they are quick to respond to questions. Both my fiance and I were hitting them with questions along with requests for additional photos and they got right on it. The goal was to find a clean watermelon tourmaline. Which, I must say, is no small feet and required checking with several jewelers and hours of digging online.

It seemed like it was narrowed to several but one in particular stuck out. So off to Boston we flew and then drove into Kennebunkport, ME. Side note. Kennebunkport is delightful. If you get a chance to go, hop on it. Okay so I have to say here we arent jetsetters. He was just pressed to find me the perfect stone and make me happy I was a little worried when we walked into the jeweler, it was much smaller than the website would have you suspect.

But quickly we realized they were on top of things and ready had a nice selection of watermelon tourmaline. Finally getting back to reviews.the deed was done in early fall. The ring is fabulous and we are both pleased. In fact, there was a matching bracelet as well. (((Squeal))) The only thing I didn't care for was the fact I had to wait about 18 days for the bracelet to be delivered. That was crappy.

Anyone in the market for any jewelry MUST visit Coastal Jewelers. Whatever you may be in the market for you will find here. The unique selection of stones, settings and estate jewelry always amazes me. The owners obviously shop for interesting pieces you won't find in other stores. The tourmaline colors and cuts are incredible. Customer service here is second to none of anyplace I have ever shopped.

I have called in requests and had just what I wanted waiting for me when I got there. The owners are always in the store, and take a personal interest in your satisfaction. The staff are always fun to chat with, and work hard at helping find the perfect gift. I have shopped at Coastal for a number of years, and honestly can't imagine going anywhere else.

Coastal Jewelers has the most beautiful selection of Jewelry with price ranges for everyone. I stopped going to the Mall Jewelry stores after I found them over 10 years ago no more over priced cookie cutter stuff for me!. The staff is awesome they helped me design my own custom piece and stay in my budget. I also love that this is a local Family owned business.

Your greatest challenge while in here is to avoid drooling on the merchandise. It is BEAUTIFUL. Such a different experience then chain stores. My dream sapphire ring is here. Not going to lie, I totally visit it. The design and quality is astounding. I also like that they have a huge range of price points So if someone is shopping for a beautiful gift but pricey stones would be inappropriate, check out the watermelon tourmaline or the simple silver pieces that can be engraved. Good for siblings, friends, grandchildren, graduates. And say hi to my ring, too.
