My wife and I needed to have our wedding bands appraised along with some jewelry heirlooms that we didn't' know the value of, to see if we should also have them insured. We worked with Shaheen, the appraiser, meeting with him twice. He was knowledgeable, patient and unrushed while providing us with a piece by piece value assessment. He guided us as to which jewelry should have a formal appraisal, and which didn't need one. We highly recommend this company and staff for high end jewelry.

I had a great experience buying long distance from Dover. I worked with Lauren who quickly responded to my email and sent photos and videos on request. She was able to place a hold on the item (on the website) and had their gemologist sit in on our virtual meeting in case I had questions about the stones. Their return policy of paid shipping and a full refund helped ease my worries about not being able to try before I buy.

After our virtual meeting, photos and videos, I felt that there would be no surprises when the bracelet arrived. I was wrong. It was more gorgeous in real life! I am so thrilled and happy with my purchase. Do not hesitate to contact them if you see something on their website that interests you. I'd been searching for just the right eternity band for some time when I found one that was unlike anything I've seen before or since at Dover Jewelry. They had a vintage ring that is one-of-a-kind and I was thrilled that it was my size. I purchased the ring and they upgraded my shipping to overnight service free of charge. Unfortunately, the ring didn't quite fit (too small) when it arrived and I was so sorry to have to email them and tell them I'd be returning the ring.

A few minutes after I sent the email, Dover called and asked if I'd be open to having them provide an overnight shipping label and for their on-site master jeweler to adjust the ring to my size. Channel-set eternity bands are difficult, if not impossible to resize, but I was willing to have them try. I sent back the ring using their provided overnight label.

They received it the next day, were able to shave.5 size off the inside of the band, and overnighted it right back. The ring fits perfectly now and I couldn't be more thrilled with it or their customer service! They covered all the back-and-forth overnight shipping, insurance, and the cost of the alteration. I now have a stunningly unique vintage ring and I'm grateful for their time/effort to ensure it worked out for me. I highly recommend Dover Jewelry and will definitely purchase from them in the future!

Recently, I had utilized the Dover estate sale process via eBay. I had tried other well-vetted venues to sell estate jewelry: several private sales through an agent, a noted auction house; and, another eBay source. I regret that I had not considered Dover before. The Dover team was professional, efficient, communicative, and cordial. Specifically, Rosette and Sandra were "top drawer".

Perhaps of even greater importance was the return - much, MUCH greater than I had anticipated and which far exceeded the alternate venues' results. None better. Not even a close second. Bravo! Dover!

Veronique is the best.anyone who wants to be spoiled and treated better than best, ask for her. Her boss is so nice also, he checked with me when she was off.took time to make sure all was well. The store has amazing customer service, and was so honest about my prior purchase from 4 years ago where I could not find the records. They help me make the right selection and my purchase really was a great value.

Went for an appraisal, got a perfunctory glance over by their appraiser. Not professional at all. No parking, downtown is full of creeps - don't waste your time.

I bought a necklace on Labor Day weekend; they have incredible offers with a good variety from which to choose. Once I chose the one I liked, the buying process was fast and very satisfactory

Appraisal documents are completely useless and false! I bought a simple silver ring for less than 100$ and they sent it to me with a "appraisal" of 1000$ I know that this ring is not worth that much! they try to trick their customers thinking items are worth 10 x's over! Buy cautiously and carefully from here if you must. But i do not trust this company.

They have an ebay account as well, so be wary! p.s. i didnt buy the ring thinking it was worth so much. I didnt even know i was getting an appraisal document The ring I purchase was a tiffany&co ring fyi. Thats how i know it was not worth the appraised amount, it was a silver band. My appraisal was over $1000. i have to laugh at that haha.
