While on vacation in Fort Lauderdale, we had an amazing shopping experience at Carroll's. My wedding ring was damaged and Emily spent an entire afternoon finding the perfect upgrade. And on her day off, she was coordinating the process to have it done quickly. By the end of our vacation, I went home with an absolutely stunning engagement/wedding band. Emily was very professional and trustworthy and we look forward to doing business at Carroll's in the future. Southern Florida is lucky to have this jeweler.

I really enjoyed my shopping experience at Carroll's. Not only did they let me in ten minutes before the advertised open but they also swapped out the chain on my purchase to a length I liked better. A nice selection of jewelry in all price points.

Carroll's really turned around my experience buying an engagement ring. After having horrible experiences online and in other jewelers Emily spent hours with me getting the perfect ring made. Other jewelers were telling me what I wanted, but it felt different here. My fiance loved the ring as well.

Besides having very beautiful and unusual pieces, Carroll's Jewelers has the nicest people serving their customers. I went to Carroll's Jewelers on Las Olas for a couple of things - this wasn't my first visit. There are a small local Jeweler that I could trust. While there i had an employee make a rude and uncalled for remark - however - JOHN - addressed the issue immediately. That professionalism was much appreciated. I will go back.

John Moorman was fantastic! He worked with me to design a custom ring using gems from a sentimental piece that was outdated. I get compliments on it daily! He made what could have been a complicated process so easy and rewarding. Love the local flavor, quality product and personal attention that you get from a family owned jeweler like Carrolls.

Always a pleasure doing business with Carroll's. I don't trust anyone as well as I do Bob Moorman. I waited till I was down in Fort Lauderdale again to have my watch looked at. Always a good experience.

Bob and his sons are absolutely a pleasure to work with. My coworker and I were welcomed to host a very successful event in their lovely store. The entire staff was extremely accommodating and welcoming! I would not hesitate to reccomend this jeweler to anyone, they have a great selection and extensive knowledge/experience in the industry.

When I asked Bob Moorman to help my son find an engagement ring, he didn't hesitate to help. He had us in for multiple appointments, showed us how to use a loop and thoroughly educated us on various types and qualities of stone. Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick. Silence.hmmm, guess I need a new battery in my watch (yes I still wear one of those). But where to go where I can get in and out in a hurry? Well lucky me- 4 blocks down from my house on Las Olas is this locally owned jewelry shop that also does watch batteries. I stopped in during the day and a friendly woman directed me to Bill at the back of the store.

He said he could get it done and that I could browse the store while he did the work. It's a cute store. Lots of beautiful jewelry (I need a new ring so I was trying to stay away from the cases of sparkling loveliness). Looks like they may have some pieces from estate sales as well. There are also plenty of gifts so if you are looking for something unique and special for a new baby, graduation or any other occasion, you should check out what they have.

My watch was back and running in no time and the bill was only $35. Maybe a little more expensive than some other places but I like supporting local and know if I have a problem in the future, they will take good care of me! And it's on Las Olas so what did you expect? Tick. Tick. Tick. I'm good to go!

Bob M. is great! I went to the store fully expecting to have to pay several hundred dollars to have a ring enlarged. Bob started examining it and figured out how to enlarge the ring without sending it out. I was not charged anything! Thanks Bob!

Wonderful shop- highly recommend! I went into the shop today to get my engagement ring appraised. While I waited, Emily kindly assisted me in trying on so many different wedding bands (just to play dress up & start imagining what I may like in the future). They were honest, knowledgeable and I left feeling well taken care of by a new business. Will definitely be returning to this store.

I brought a little clock into Caroll's for a new battery. It was brand new, but the second hand was not moving. When I called to see if it was ready to be picked up, I was told that there was nothing wrong with the clock, just that the cellophane tab had not been pulled to allow the clock to start working. How honest! I have purchased items from them in the past and will certainly return.

I felt famous from the moment I walked into the shop. I called prior to coming in, as soon as I show up Emily greets me and immediately starts showing me engagement rings that match what I said I wanted from my phone conversation (she didn't talk to me on the phone btw) I was shown dozens of pieces, never felt obligated to buy or rushed in my decision, or to try and up sell me.

I landed on a beautiful ring, which they put my diamond in the setting and resized it for me in less then a week. I couldn't be happier with the service Emily provided. I will be coming back to Carrolls for all of my jewelry needs.

Emily called Brendan shortly after asking him to tell me to take down the review. When he asked why she lied to each of us she kept saying "I just got excited". And people are sending me awful "compliments" on yelp in response to the review. I don't understand how this store has customers with management and ownership so poor.

Excellent! Go here! Family owned and a gem in the heart of the ft laud. I had them appraise and set an engagement ring and they are so great. The whole staff is friendly and you get greeted w a smile and the assurance of the 56 years of knowledge. It says so on the door and when you meet bob and John you realize it's true!

The quality of service and merchandise is impeccable. Emily was so helpful and vivacious I have purchased jewelry from this vendor in the past and I was so impressed with the quality and price. I'm from Wisconsin and I always wait till I come back to Fort Lauderdale to make my purchases.

This review is for their ring re-sizing service. When my fiance and I came in we were promptly addressed and welcomed. Even though our ring wasn't purchased here, they were great and are extremely reasonably priced when compared to other places I had called. My ring was checked for size, then I was measured myself. Although I thought I should go with a 3.75, they assured me that a 3.5 was the way to go and that it would fit comfortably but not tightly.

We were hesitant to leave our ring in the hands of strangers at first but Carroll's was able to put us at ease. When I picked up the ring it fit great and not too snug like I was promised and sparkled perfectly. You can't even tell there was any work done on it! The ring was finished and ready in TWO days. Other places told me it would take at least a week and a friend of mine had to wait a month to get her engagement ring back.

I am just amazed at the quality of work and people here, not to mention the turn around time and the price. For a simple down sizing like mine, the cost was $45. Great place and if I'm ever looking for jewelry I'll be sure to stop in again.

One thing about South Florida is that it reeks with shady slippery characters as well as businesses. Where else can a County Sheriff run wild with all sorts of financial schemes, openly corrupt activities, then merely spend a few months in prison only to later become a highly paid political lobbyist? Or, where else would you find a leading law firm actually serving as little more than a cover up for a billion dollar plus Ponzi scheme? Hence, it's rather important to know with whom you are dealing and who you can generally trust, especially when it comes to jewelry, which is why I award a five stars to Carroll's Jewelers.

Though my platinum canary yellow encrusted diamond tiara comes from Harry Winston (Really now! I hope you don't seriously believe that?), I've had the good fortune to have had several dealings with Carroll's and have always found them to be up right honest, friendly, reliable and generally good people with whom to engage in business. They've been around for years and it's a good bet that they will be around for many more years. They have one of the best retail selections of glassware in town, various estate sale items and can generally guide you into or onto anything that may be of your interest.
