Services
At least once a year have your stone settings inspected by a qualified jeweler. Prongs may be worn down or settings damaged which may cause the stones to fall out unexpectedly. Apply perfume, oils and hair spray before donning your jewelry. Especially when wearing pearls. Acidic oils and perspiration can damage the surface of pearls.

Lovely store. Got my first real ring here as a present for my grandma when I was a teenager. Just came back to get an appraisal on a gemstone I bought online, and they were kind enough to just look at it and tell me what I needed to know at no charge. Will definitely come back when I need any jewelry or gifts.

Gerri is a fantastic salesperson. However, I was slightly disappointed with the other store staff. My fiance and I stopped in to purchase our wedding bands, and a necklace she could wear on the big day. They offered to custom make my fiance's band, as they didn't stock what we were looking for. The price seemed a little high compared to other jewelers for what we were getting (but then again, they would have to customize it - so I do understand).
We did not end up buying her band from Maloof. I had a specific ring in mind for my band that was not stocked (and I didn't expect it to be, but was looking for similarities). I showed Gerri a picture, and she checked with her manager. The manager advised us to 'look online'. Not exactly what you want to hear at a jewelry store. Not to mention, the website showed us nothing unless we signed in with the 'dealer login' that we didn't have.
We started to look at necklaces, and I was a little disappointed with the small gemstone selection, specifically morganite. As the other jewelers had a much larger selection. Though we did find a beautiful necklace we ultimately ended up buying a few days later (for a great price we could not find elsewhere). We did purchase both of our bands from another jeweler, and I did settle for a band I was not totally sold on at the other jewelry store. However, when I returned to purchase the necklace, I was totally surprised that Gerri was able to find the EXACT ring I was looking for!
Since the band was not exactly what I wanted and male wedding bands are fairly inexpensive (it was $75). I decided to have Gerri order the ring I truly wanted in spite of buying a ring somewhere else, being that I could not find anything remotely to that style. I am so excited! I look forward to returning to see Gerri and the ring no one else could find. Geri was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
I would love to do more business with her (I'd like to have a gold chain in a few months). She was not pressuring like some of the neighboring stores, and was easy to talk to. The criticism for the business would be to have a larger gemstone selection, as they seem to be becoming more popular. As well as never tell a potential customer to look online.
I believe that is what sets small jewelry stores apart from big chain stores. I understand not all items are in stock, I would be fine seeing a picture of suggestions even, but I think it should be up to the store or salesperson to check the online catalog and make the recommendations. Again, nothing on Gerri's side, she was great. She even seemed a little uncomfortable relaying her manager's suggestion.
In all reality, had a larger effort been made during our first visit, we probably would have purchased all items on our list from Maloof's. We did save some money on my fiance's wedding band, but the sales person was not as friendly as Gerri.

Had a great experience buying a watch for my husband Christmas 2021. When we returned to have the watch-sized, the customer service was disappointing. Many recognized clients were taken out of order from taking a service number. When the band was being sized, again, other clients were recognized with a lengthy greeting interrupting our service. When we were back in our vehicle my husband noticed the watch wasn't set to the correct time or date. EVEN MY LOCAL PAWN SHOP WHEN CHANGING A BATTERY DOES THIS

Sorry to say there not selling Clock's anymore, because My Family has gotten a few wall clock's from them through the yrs. And I got two more from them that will be cherished for a life time. And I also got My Wedding rings from them yrs ago. I got My Daughter a wall clock for a house warming gift there last one she Is going to Love It. And My Mom fell In Love with this click so She Is getting this one for Christmas. So Maloof's has been very good to My Family through the yrs.

Took a watch in for a battery change. Scratched not only the back of the watch but also the face near the crystal. Manager spoke with us that it's expected to scratch the back of the case when taking it apart. Im sorry but if you don't know what your doing you should not be changing batteries. There is no reason for scratching the case so often that it's expected there.
And if it's common practice at this place them they should let the customers know, so they can choose to have it done or take it to someone that knows what they are doing. Very displeased with this jewelry store.

About 10 years ago my husband had the brilliant idea of buying me earrings for christmas. I am not a jewelry person and tried to return them. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS and I couldn't find anything I wanted for over $500. I had to take a gift card and I now live 1 1/2 hours away. I've made 3 trips since trying to spend the dang thing but I'm not into those type of gifts either (crystal and silver, etc).
Waste of gas and time. What the heck can I do with the gift card. DON'T buy a gift here because if the person is like me they will be stuck with an expensive useless piece of plastic. I tried to sell it to someone there shopping but the store wasn't having any of that. My mom loves jewelry and there were/are the best if you like jewelry but Maloof's got $500 out of us for Christmas and my jewelry box (mostly inherited and never worn) got a piece of plastic that will sit there until I die or the store closes!

My wedding rings had gotten too small, I felt. I handed them to the lady at jewelry counter as she was inspecting it, I put on the band. She asked me to put on the diamond and then told me they fit fine. She explained how they should fit and said they would clean it for me. I really felt I wanted them looser so she suggested they just stretch it 1/4 size instead of the other option of cutting it.
That way it would be larger for me but not too large. In addition they cleaned it. all done at no cost to me! I was surprised by the care & customer service received, well beyond what I find these days!

My soon to be husband and I were in a real pinch. We forgot to get his ring sized for our wedding that is literally in two days! It's a platinum ring, so we knew we might be somewhat out of luck on being able to get it sized. However, Maloof's came through! We are so happy, the employees were very friendly as well. We highly recommend this jewelry store!

Customer service is terrible. If you already know what you want at the jewelery counter you will still have to wait over an hour before you are allowed to give them your money. I can only imagine how much business they lose because of their obsolete "take a number" system. It is the holidays, make accommodations and have somebody available for express pickup.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I went into there today to purchase a wedding band for my fiance. There were about 10 sales person and ONE (1) other customer. I was not greeted, I was not asked for help and I stood around for fifteen minutes. Another girl came in from the street and I watched a sales person immediately greet her and help her out.
So I went to get a number, even though the number called was the number i received. I still waited around. nothing. Even sat down by the rings. nothing. Then I figured I should just ask for help, and when I did, apparently I interrupted another important conversation between sales women of "snowmen" because I was told " just a minute." Needless to say I decided to take my business elsewhere. If you want to wait around until your 65 like the saleswomen then go here. Otherwise save your time and money and go somewhere they actually care about making a sale.

My husband and I both took our wedding rings in to be re-sized, since Maloof's is close by and we have always had good experience purchasing from them we went there. First there were about 5 employees behind the jewelry area doing nothing at all and showed zero interest in assisting us. We waited several minutes despite the store being empty.
Then they told us the price OWCH over $100 to have my ring sized down several sizes and the husbands up one size. In the end my ring is too small - they took too much material out of it and my husband ended up having to take his back in for a (free) repair because they thinned out the gold too much (trying to save money in materials maybe?) and it split in half.
I have to have my ring re-sized again so that it will fit and I will not take it back there nor will I take any other jewelry to be repaired. Poor service and high prices are driving us away.

I stopped at this store the first time when checking out some jewelry. Then I wasted time checking out other stores. This store was the place to buy jewelry but at least I know the one and only place to go now. Way better prices and great products. Jim was who we dealt with, very helpful and informative! I'm sure the others are great too but I didn't meet with them and Jim is great. You have him your in good hands.and you'll have something good on your hands! :
