Wow! Drue could not be any more rude. Initially I went there years ago to have a necklace made. Since I knew they could make the necklace, I went with them, but Drue was so rude. Almost rolling her eyes at me and my ideas. I have since gone back for another reason and figured I'd give her another chance. Nope. Never again. Just as rude this time.

Drue is attentive, knowledgeable and creative. I have purchased one of a kind pieces for myself and family. She is a great resource for upcycling/recreating jewelry from estates and out of date pieces.

After my partner proposed to me, I had to learn about engagement rings. I did my research and decided on the cut, color and clarity of the diamond I wanted. I also researched jewelry stores I wanted to check out. The first store (a well-known chain) gave me a standoffish feel. The woman helping us, ordered diamonds for us to look at and told us to come back in a few days.

When we left the store, I was not excited about going back. We went to the next store, the one I really wanted to go to - Drue Sanders. Drue Sanders on Western Ave, has been in business a long time. As soon as we walked in, Jada greeted us and directed us to the engagement rings. She was patient and polite, which put me at ease (I was flustered after leaving the last store). Drue (and her dog Shiner ) came out to greet us as well.

I told her the diamond I wanted, but I wasn't sure about the carat. She ordered a few diamonds for us to look at. She explained the value of each of the carat diamonds we were presented with and I appreciate her honesty. I am so happy we went to Drue's. I couldn't be more delighted with my beautiful ring - I never want to take it off! I'm looking forward to going back for our wedding bands. I will tell everyone in need of a jeweler - go to Drue! Great jewlery here! They will repair or resize any of your jewlery. They also have a large selection of all kinds of jewlery. Very nice and helpful staff.

Stopped in on a whim to get a ring sized, they were very courteous and helpful. They sized my ring very quickly and answered some questions I had about some other jewelry. Nice jewelers, I'll go there again.

They use predatory tactics for a quick sale. She was tasteless and offensive in her approach. Her lack of professionalism was shocking. I would recommend you shop elsewhere. She treated us terribly and I would not wish the same experience on you. You can get a much better deal and far better treatment anywhere else.

Going to Drue for an engagement ring was truly a wonderful experience. I had never done anything like that before and she helped walk me through all the steps. I told her what I liked and what I thought my (now) wife would like, and she helped me to create a one of a kind ring that we still can't stop looking at. If you're thinking any old custom jeweler can do that, you might be right; however, Drue went about and beyond what customer service should be to help us out.

I was a day late to pick up my ring, and she cut her Lake George biking trip short to finish the ring, and the next day, July 4th, she met me in her shop so I could "pull the question" later that evening. After the first experience it was a no-brainer on who to go to for wedding bands. I love mine, but that doesn't begin to describe how my new wife feels and looks at hers, it really is perfect. Dru is so easy to work with. She cares about the bride and groom and what they are looking for in a wedding band and engagement ring. I felt safe with Dru as she makes all her jewelry in the shop. Her prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Dru engagement rings and bands!

About 10 years ago I found a designer ring setting that was so gorgeous, and so out of my price range, that I spent years looking for it as an estate piece. Once I finally found it, I thought, "who can I trust to work on this setting without damaging it, so that it fits my finger and works with my center stone?" It originally held a princess cut, but my stone is round.

While I did not pay an enormous amount for the setting, it was virtually irreplaceable to me. I chose Drue Sanders because it was one of the few places (maybe only) that repaired on site, giving me the ability to speak to the person who would work on my ring. John crafted the prongs so that they became suitable for a round stone and he also sized the ring. All of this for only $180 - a true bargain. I highly recommend Drue Sanders!
