My husband surprised me for Mother's Day with a fantastic gold and jewel stone cocktail ring from Luster. I popped in to pick up the ring after getting it sized (which they did so fast) and went home with a couple fun treats to kick off the summer. Their new fluorescent-colored enamel covered necklaces are perfect to add a happy pop to a plain white T or enjoy poolside. and am even sharing one with my 17 year old because mama should have all the fun, right?!

I can't recommend Lustre enough! My husband and I were celebrating our Anniversary and upgraded my diamond ring. The work and craftsmanship are impeccable. Staff here is SO SWEET! They fixed one of my rings that is near and dear to my heart; they were very careful with it and it came out clean, rock solid, and sparkling. I feel very safe dropping my items off with them as they are very trustworthy. They are ALL very personable, and Annette in particular is always so patient and wonderful! What an excellent jewelry store! The staff are so welcoming. I wanted two chains shortened into bracelets and was assisted by Daniel, who was incredibly helpful. My bracelets turned out really beautiful and fit perfectly. The repairs were done quickly and were reasonably priced. I couldn't be happier with the service provided and absolutely recommend Lustre.

Such personalized service! It's been 20 years since we shopped for jewelery so when I asked friends for a recommendations I was happy to hear about this small jeweler. Annette was so patient as we talked through our options, discussed the budget and made a final decision on the PERFECT anniversary band. Annette also helped us with determining the best plan for resizing my engagement ring and wedding bands. It's going to be a beautiful set!

I had a college ring repaired after being cut off in an ER. Their work was beautiful and the ring looks new. It was sized perfectly, done on time, and priced reasonably! So happy I discovered this jeweler and recommend!

This is such a great business. As soon as you walk in, you're taken away by how bright, beautiful, and posh it is. Then you're greeted by young, friendly, and attractive staff and you suddenly realize you're someplace special. Even though this place is very upscale, it still manages to feel homey and the upbeat music kind of adds a little fun to it.

As for their inventory, The display cases are not overcrowded with mediocre items. Instead, they contain a smaller selection high quality items. I don't know much about jewelry, but it's quite obvious that a lot of thought went into the lighting and placement of every piece of jewelry so that their beauty could be observed to its fullest extent.

During my visit, I came in to get a service for my watch. Prior to coming here, I visited four other places and none of them were able to execute the service without damaging my watch. Daniel Wright was able to do it 5 minutes! During that time he and Flora told me the story of how this store was started, which gave me even more appreciation for this hidden gem.

I really can't emphasize how amazing these people are. They're extremely knowledgeable, friendly/ personable, and best of all, they are laid back. I am sad to say that I will be moving out of state in a couple of months, but when it comes time for me to purchase a ring or splurge on other jewelry, I will try my hardest to make it back here.

Robin and the Lustre team are superstars that deliver exceptional service. I wanted to have a family heirloom with diamonds transformed into a pair of matching rings for an engagement. They patiently walked me through the steps and showed me a variety of options - without overwhelming this novice jewelry buyer. I eventually settled on the style and design and was guided easily through the rest of the process.

Had yet another five, ten, even fifteen star experience at Lustre! You can go back to my previous review to see how much I loved my last experience with them. I got my wedding rings resized after having a baby and it was a smooth and pleasant process. Most recently, I was out to lunch with my mom when I realized that a stone from my wedding band was missing.

That same afternoon, we stopped by Lustre just to get an idea of how much it would cost to repair. To my absolute shock, they are honoring the warranty from Adolf, where my rings were originally purchased. We are still within the five years for my ring, so without question they whisked my band away for repairs. All I have to pay is the labor, which is around $68.

I am thrilled, yet again, to be a Lustre customer. I have really been wanting a J necklace to represent my son and you better believe I will be going there to get it when I'm ready!

Annette and Lustre did a fabulous job repairing my ring that had great sentimental value. It was the first nice thing I bought for myself after college, so I was devastated when the center sapphire fell out. Annette gave me pricing options for the replacement stone and kept me informed during the repair process. She picked 2 beautiful sapphires to choose from.

When I got her message saying it was ready and looked beautiful, I was so excited. They did an excellent job. In fact, it looks even better than before. Like most reviewers, I'm a former Adolf's customer. Lustre maintains Adolf's level of service but has a modern vibe. The store is drop dead gorgeous, and the staff is friendly. Definitely recommend.

Luster is he next generation in a special family Jewelry business. They arty an extensive selection of diamonds, and other jewelry. We came in to get my wife's ring cleaned and they did a beautiful job. We will surely be back and birthday and anniversary presents of all price ranges will be purchased. Best around.

I LOVE Lustre, the newly opened jewelry story by Robin Adolf Salzberg and her business partner Daniel Wright. The Adolf family has been in the jewelry business for a very long time in RVA and that legacy is visible in so many aspects of the new store. However, what I love most about Lustre is that Robin has weaved her own personal style (which is impeccable by the way!) into the lines which she has chosen to fill the gorgeous new store.

Modern meets timeless. I am a long time customer and have spent many a hard earned dollar on jewelry that Robin has introduced to me and I have never been disappointed. I love a bit of bling but before knowing Robin the act of picking out jewelry was only slight less daunting then darkening the door of a lingerie store for my husband. AR (After Robin), he is always so pleased with himself at crucial gift giving times throughout the year.

He can go in to see her and she will help him select something in an environment where he cannot fail. So, needless to say, I am pretty pleased that Robin, Daniel and their team have opened Lustre!
