Four decades later and in the same location, Charles Goldman retired, and Robert Goldman, his son, became the President of Regency Jewelry. Today many people love to browse and shop online. For this reason we have built an online store and opened another retail shop on Vista Street. You can browse our beautiful pieces from the solace of your home or office, at any time. Or you can stop by and visit us for a close-up view in person. Robert learned everything he knows about jewelry and repairs from his father.

Wow, the vintage jewelry is incredible, you must see. Whomever receives your gift to them will treasure for a lifetime, then pass to next generation. Not only is the jewelry magnificent, they restore vintage pieces. They take intricate care, restoring back to looking like, you just bought it. I Only trust my treasured pieces to Bob and his team, they are phenomenal. Thank you so much for your quality work.

This is a great business! Vintage and beautiful. I purchased a vintage pair of cuff links with a small, cone-shaped red stone ( tiny) that fell outta one of the cuff links. I bought these cuff links as a gift from a small shop around SantaBarbara more than 10yrs ago. Wanted them repaired. Took the pair to RJ's - waited a week and returned to get them.
I cried, honestly. The cuff links looked better after than before. Lol. They shined, and the stone was replaced! This business is restoration heaven - no joke. Call, make the appointment, take the time. I appreciate the artisanship, the workmanship of the proprietor. I'm on my way again to have more of my vintage pieces. Perfect in every way. Trust them to do a beautiful job. Thx

I had a HORRIBLE experience and will never return to Regency. He did not repair my jewelry properly and charged me twice for the same repair. When he then told me it would be over one thousand to fully repair, I suggested contacting where I originally purchased it from in NY. He became extremely rude and angry that I would be going somewhere else and wasting his time.
I sent it to be repaired in NY and was told his repair was faulty and that he is a crook. I will NEVER walk into Regency again and I will tell all my friends about this horrible experience

Excellent. They are amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable. Extremely happy that I stopped in for some battery replacements and a new watch band. If you are into antique watches, clocks, display clocks, and jewelry, then you should definitely visit this place as well. I will not go elsewhere from now on.

My girlfriend is a longtime Regency customer who recommends them often to friends. So when it was time to propose, there was no question where to go for the engagement ring. I'm pleased to report she said yes. But maybe I should feel at least a little insulted that she seemed even happier when she saw that the ring came from Regency Jewelry! Thanks to Bob and Roseanne for their excellent service and helpful guidance!

After a somewhat 'awkward' start, these people shaped up and the watchmaker did such good repair on my Mother's watch=and in record time-that I'm in total awe. The price was more than fair, although more than the watch was worth-which they made sure I knew. But they all seemed to understand my sentimental attachment and my insanity about the whole process.
Now I'm seeking out some other treasure in some thrift store which I can have repaired there-I know they do a great job 'resilvering' and the also do ESTIMATES of jewelry and silver: you have to make an appointment as the person who does it does NOT work for the store, but these people are so professional-THEY BELONG on 5th Ave In NYC, except we need such a first class operation in L.A.
They are closed Monday and tuesday i think so call beforehand-I had seen the shop for years and can't express how sad I am that it took me so long to find such a phenomenal place. Committed to excellence, with a sense of humor-a necessity when dealing with me.

Bought the engagement ring for my fiancee here! Truth be told, it was the very first ring that I looked it - I had just begun the search. I showed Bob a picture of a vintage ring that I was looking for and he happened to have one that was of a very similar style. It was meant to be! Most importantly, Bob is honest, direct and very helpful. He gave me ample time alone to make my decision but also discussed the history and quality of the ring I was looking at.
I never felt pressured at all. and my fiancee loves the ring! On a side note, they have a pretty awesome collection of watches and clocks. I might be back to get myself a post-wedding present. Thanks, Bob!

Such nice people. I needed a ring cleaned and links removed from my watch. They were so friendly and helpful: cleaned my ring beautifully and made my watch a perfect fit. I enjoyed looking at their gorgeous collection of interesting jewelry while I waited. The whole thing took under five minutes! Now I want to go shopping there!

I simply love this place! Very few old-school businesses like this exist in L.A. anymore, and it's a shame. Regency has a great selection of vintage jewelry, and a wonderful display of interesting and scarce vintage clocks. They also do repair on vintage clocks, one of the few places that does them on site. A family business passed down to the current owner, Bob, you will not find better customer interest and service than Regency Jewelry, a real gem in Southern California.

I'd been going to a jeweler in Santa Monica for prong tightenings since 2007. After inconsistent and unwelcoming experiences there, I posted an honest negative review which blew up in my face (many harassing phone calls from the business, slanderous responses to my review, etc.). So. this time when I had a loose prong, I was without a "regular" jeweler to go to.
Lots of yelp searching later, I landed on Regency. I'm so glad I did! I walked in yesterday around noon, expecting to drop my ring off, be told to return in a week to pick it up, and be charged anywhere between $50-100. because that's what I'm used to for this repair. I handed my ring to the woman behind the counter. She complimented it, took it into the back room, and came back out to chat.
I felt a little awkward, not sure why she was making conversation instead of giving me a claim slip and sending me on my way. About 90 seconds later, I heard "it's done!" from the back room. I'm sorry, what? When she handed my ring back and I took out my wallet, she winked and said "oh, there's no charge for this, dear." I walked out of that place beaming.
What a difference from what I'm used to! The jewelry under the counter was gorgeous. plenty of eye candy to look at while I was waiting. Regency will be my first stop next time I'm in the market for a new piece of jewelry (which, sadly, doesn't happen as often as I'd like). After the perfect service experience I had yesterday, I don't really want to go anywhere else!

Regency Jewelry is the best jeweler in town! i took a ring in for repair. needed to replace a prong holding the center stone in place. they repaired the prong, polished the stone and cleaned the ring. when i went to pick it up, it looked like a new ring. the owner is incredibly nice + helpful. i went back a few weeks ago to have him look at a pair of diamond earrings that i received for a gift. just needed him to check the color and size. he looked at them, gave me his expert opinion on the quality, cleaned them and didn't charge me anything! he's got a customer for life. they also sell beautiful estate jewelry. if you're looking for a unique gift, this is the place to go.
