Chong Hing Jewelers

I've bought three watches at Chong Hing thus far and will continue to come back. I highly recommend for any watch enthusiasts to come here and give the friendly staff an opportunity to earn your business. Peggy Lau is my sales woman and has treated me very well every time I stopped by the store. She is very patient, insightful, and courteous.

She has a really positive attitude that makes me want to come back to visit the store and looks to build good relationships with her clients. The purchasing process is very smooth and stress free. Peggy takes her time and walks me through the process step by step. I recommend Peggy to any potential buyer.

A saleswoman called me a couple days after writing the previous Yelp review to remove it. She briefly apologized about how they treated me but spent the next 5-10 minutes asking me to edit/remove my yelp review as it was "not a nice language". After figuring out I would not remove it, the saleswoman asked nonstop on editing the yelp review to include a specific saleswoman name who helped me so that she does not get in trouble with the boss/manager.

The entirety of the call was not to make amends, but rather have me edit the review to get a saleswoman out of trouble. I had no choice but to hang up the call after repeating 5 times I would not be doing be editing the previous Yelp review. The saleswoman wanted an edit, here is an edit she asked for.

The customer service is beyond horrible. The sales lady is not professional. Went to try on some watches and sales lady was very cold and rude with an attitude of not being interested in selling a watch. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere.

Poor service all the way. From the horrible interrogating guard, to the pushing saleswoman, to the unprofessional cashier. I don't know how this place stays in business.

I like to share an outstanding excellent experience of Peggy L of Chong Hing Jewelers. She went out of her way to assist me find parts to reassemble my sentimental watch which I tried in various locations and ways. Her hospitality and outstanding cares give me confidence and trust on her ability to get the best for customers.

Terrible service. Closed door with lot of questions to ask before we are allowed to enter the door. They were very pushy about the sales. As if we don't buy something, they wouldn't let us go.

Honestly, I really wanted to support this store and become a long term customer where I could build my watch collection and buy jewelry from, but their service really misses the mark, especially for a high-end watch store. When you are spending this kind of money, I would definitely recommend going somewhere else as you would get a much better service.

This is just my personal experience, but on my first visit here, I bought a new $10,000 watch and left another one of my old watches to get serviced. As time went on, they really went out of their way to make me jump through all kinds of hoops like forcing me come back in person to pay additional fees just to get the watch looked at. It really was not about the money, but more so the unnecessary inconveniences they put me through.

Through it all, I knew I could have just sent the watch to the manufacturer directly for a much better price, but as I said, I was willing to pay a markup to support their business and build a long-term relationship. At the end of it, I just had enough. I asked for my watch back and took it somewhere else to get serviced. They held my watch for 3 months, kept my $250 deposit for all their inspection fees, and handed me back a still broken watch.

Had a great experience with Peggy. Very friendly and not pushy at all. Would definitely purchase from her again soon.

Do not come here if you don't have an appointment. THEY DO NOT WANT YOUR BUSINESS. I walked by and wanted to see the omega speedmaster. The store was completely empty with SAs standing there and doing nothing. One tall guy with glasses managed to come and tell me they don't take walk ins and just walked away. I'll take my money elsewhere.

Very professional, helpful and friendly staff. They have more selections of high end jewelries and watches as well as the less expensive ones. Very few jewelers gives me the feeling of coming back and this is one of them. Outstanding service! Thank you Amanda.

I would like to give a zero star if I have this option. I want to purchase a Patek Phillipe and find out this store through the website. The door is locked, and a salesperson asks us what brand we want to take a look through the door. He then goes inside to talk with the store manager (maybe), and a few minutes later, another saleswoman asks us what brand we are looking for again.

We repeated Patek Phillipe, and that lady shows incredible on her face. Then, even there is no customer inside the store, she still said we don't have an appointment so we cannot get into the store. The most disrespectful point is, they talk to us through the door for the whole process. More importantly, when I call them and show my intension through the phone the other day, they clearly state they are open every day and don't mention they are appointment only. While, maybe we are not dressed up, but that is not the reason for all disrespectful behaviors.

If you truely love and appreciate the art of watch, You will need to know spring drive with Grand Seiko. If you living in LA, you don't want to miss reputable AD Chong Hing. And if you need to collect GS, PP, Omega, or any top names in Chong Hing, you will need to talk to Steven. Not only friendly service, his professionalism, knowledge and taste will help anyone to make a good choice. Wish everyone has a bullish 2021

I always buy jewelry on this company which own by this family for more than 40 yrs. I met Stephanie at los Angeles store. Until now I still communicate with her, she helped me a lot, I'm very satisfied customer. And the owner of San Gabriel branch is very nice quality of their jewelries are very good and unique designs

Other collection? $290k in order to buy &30k watch? Not forcing to buy which is true, however, give ultimatum in order to buy the watch, I need to spend $290k, it is unethical in business. Honesty is the best policy in business. No wonder I went to your store sit for almost 1.5 hours on busy weekend time not even 1 customer in. That kind of big store can accommodate at least 4 customers. Whenever I went to hing hwa lee, at least 5 to 6 customers in and out.

Enjoyed purchasing my watch from Steven at Chong Hing Jewelers. They have a lot of nice watches, which made it hard to choose just one. Although this store is not the closest, I enjoyed my experience and will be back.

Spoke to Steven, they were able to adjust bands for my watch near the end of the day. The service was fast and the price was very reasonable ($10). Steven was even nice to say that if I wanted to readjust it, I could just ask for him.

I bought my first luxury watch, a GS spring drive titanium model, at this vendor's San Gabriel store back in June of 2019. It's an incredible watch and it only loses about four seconds per month! The day that I purchased this item, I felt like that I got the full experience of buying a luxury watch. When I arrived, Steven sat me down at a specific table.

He presented the watch to me along with its warranty card, a fresh water bottle, and a gift bag filled with a GS hat and brochures. Then Steven resized the watch band for my wrist and he explained the service protocol for GS. We shook hands and parted company. I highly recommend Chong Hing Jewelers.

We went to service a Chanel J12 watch. A mere 2 months after the service, the watch stopped working properly with regular use. After going to an authentic Chanel boutique, we learned that authorized dealers should send Chanel watches to the Chanel workshop to be serviced and fixed. However, Chong Hing did their service in house. This dishonest practice means that they properly don't fix nor service the watches according to watchmaker standards. ****Consumer beware****

The service is so bad. my girlfriend and I was there 1 week ago. The sale lady doesn't seem to be professional. We have requested the pricing from hearts on fire and others. So far I have not heard anything. I went to other jeweler who gave me the live quote in minutes

My husband went to this store as the closest AD for one of his favorite watch brands. He worked with Steven and had a great experience. He called before the shop opened but Steven still answered the phone from home. When the store opened, Steven sent him many pictures of the actual watch in stock. At the time, my husband was contemplating buying a used one somewhere else, but Steven closed the deal with what my husband said was his professional, direct negotiation over the phone.

When my husband went to the store that day to buy the watch, he brought a friend with him who is also an avid watch enthusiast. They both agreed the negotiated price was excellent and buying new from an AD is a great idea for the relationship and after sales service. Steven made a great impression on them and they say he is very knowledgeable and passionate about the watches. My husband loves his new watch and has been telling a lot of his friends and colleagues about Steven at Chong Hing.

Claude helped me pick out the perfect stone and make a beautiful ring for my fiancee. He was courteous, professional, and helpful. The whole experience was great. I did not feel pressured at all, and he built exactly what we wanted. My fiancee is thrilled with the ring. Thank you!

If anything, remember this name - Eric Zhou. For non-Asian shoppers: The vicinity is predominantly Asian (Chinese) but please do not get intimidated by that. If you are looking for that luxury timepiece or jewelry, you owe it to yourself to give Eric a shot. He speaks fluent English and a very polite fellow. He will help you get the maximum discount as well (wink)!

Off hand I know they carry Omega, Grand Seiko, Mont Blanc, Patek Philippe, Panerai, Longines, Tag Heuer and much more on top of the jewelry. I got a sweet deal from Eric on a new Panerai. This Chong Hing branch is located towards the rear portion of a strip mall with a bunch of restaurants and other retail shops. It is not easy to spot along Colima Road.

So pick a driveway and head towards the back area of the complex. The store is very nice and upscale inside. I've been told that the interior was recently renovated and it shows. The exterior is typical but nothing too fancy. I also got the chance to meet one of the owners and he was very accommodating as well. Go see Eric at Chong Hing, you won't regret it.

The woman at the front desk helped me design a one of a kind engagement ring. She was very helpful in selecting the style of the band and over exceeded my expectations when she showed me the finished ring. Good prices too. I will be returning here for our wedding bands and any other jewelry needs I have. Thanks!
