I've been using Reeds for years now- I started with my wife's engagement ring and haven't looked back. The staff is incredible in both Rochester and Buffalo. Gabe in particular was amazing in helping me procure one of my dream watches most recently. I already can't wait for my next experience with them.

Our five star experience started after speaking with Shannon over the phone. She was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The next day we traveled from Syracuse to view their Rolex selection and discuss further. We were greeted promptly and also introduced to Ali. He was extremely knowledgeable about the brand, educated us on the history of both Rolex and Reeds, and spent so much time with us reviewing and comparing options.
The entire staff is extremely friendly and outgoing, and even went as far as suggesting restaurants in the area for a quick lunch and even calling to ensure they were open for us. An amazing experience and so thankful to Shannon and Ali for making us feel welcome and giving us a great experience.

Not only has the staff made me feel welcome every time I'm in this store, they have also taken note of my style & ensure I'm fully satisfied with the jewelry. Outstanding! Only way to describe my most recent Transaction with Reeds! I was there 6-8 Months ago and in conversation mentioned to Jen that My Girlfriend had a huge Birthday coming up. fast forward a week ago I get a phone call reminding me of the Bracelet we had looked at during that visit months ago and that Birthday was around the corner. As a sales manager myself this was impressive.
The follow-up and phone call blew me away. I of course purchased it and have for the first time not waited to the very last minute to be prepared for her Birthday. I have been a Rolex collector for years; mainly for something to pass on to my boys. Recently, our authorized dealer no longer can offer Rolex. When I walked into Reeds in Buffalo; I was greeted by Ashley. She was kind, courteous and very helpful. I would recommend this company to anyone. Also recommend Ashley. This weekend I stopped by Reeds Jenss in Amherst, NY to learn more about the Rolex brand and identify Rolex models that might be a great present to myself. Ashley was generous with her time, knowledgeable about the brand and took the time to explain the process and what makes a Rolex truly unique. After trying on several models, The Submariner and GMT stood out at the top contenders. Not unlike Harry Potter where the wand chooses the wizard, the right Rolex just pops on your wrist and says, I belong here.

Went in to see Rolex inventory today and met Robert. I would like to say how impressed I am from his customer service. He puts the human element into the business which means a lot to me as a customer. Even though the Rolex inventory was low in the store(which is an issue with Rolex worldwide), he didn't leave any stone unturned to help me with all the questions I had. Truly impressed!

Reeds Jewelers in Amherst, NY is what every other jeweler should try to emulate. They are professional, helpful, and most importantly, kind. Some jewelers make you feel uncomfortable when you enter. When you walk into Reeds, it is incredibly warm and approachable, there is no sales pressure from anyone, and you immediately feel at ease. I was looking to invest in a new watch, and rather than just trying to push something on me, they took the time to get to know me, and what I was looking for. Ali who helped me was incredibly knowledgeable, and helped me select a timepiece that I know will be able to enjoy for a lifetime. I would recommend Reeds in Amherst, NY to anyone looking for a Jeweler who carries the highest quality product, and matches it with their amazing service.

I visited Reeds back in January for some pieces of Pandora jewelry. At first I had a wonderful woman who's name I didn't catch. Then she got called away and asked Gabe to finish taking care of me. I have never been treated with less respect. I assume because I was only spending a couple hundred $s and not a couple thousand $s. He never made eye contact with me.
He was always looking around the store - for what I'm not sure. Any conversation or question I asked he would give me a one word answer and give me a look like I was an idiot for asking. I thought so many times of walking out of the store but his rudeness had nothing to do with the jewelry I wanted. However, months later and I still think about it and wish I would have said something right then. It just makes me feel better to write this and if one person avoids having to deal with Gabe, it is worth it.

Shopping for an engagement ring is quite a daunting task, especially since most guys haven't gone in to a jewelry store alone to shop for something as expensive as an engagement ring. I did extensive research on my own before setting foot in the first jewelry store. After going to 5 stores I started to get discoursed especially as the proposal date was getting closer, 7 months away turned into to 4 months in no time.
I decided to give Reeds Jenss a shot and it was the last jewelry store I stepped in to. I was greeted by Shannon H and after 5 minutes felt very comfortable. Shannon knew when I told her what I was looking for, I wasn't just looking for a diamond and setting. I described a couple different settings and she knew that a custom setting was what I needed.
Usually custom means a premium above the settings in the display case, but that was actually not the case to my surprise. I was able to see every step throughout the process of creating my setting and then the final product. When it came to the diamonds they were second to none, the quality was just impeccable. I thought the couple jewelry stores back home (Saratoga) were going to have amazing quality which to my surprise was not the case.
I even looked at the online options (since you know todays day and age) but I found out that even if you know the specs you want you still need to physically see the diamonds in person. Reeds again blew me away and came priced close to all online sites while also showing me the cleanest, clearest & highest quality diamond (with and without the microscope) that I had seen from all of the stores. Ultimately, I felt like I was at home with friends when I was in Reeds and Shannon was able to answer my hundreds of questions (unlike some experiences you may have).
She was just as excited for my proposal and couldn't wait to hear about it once we returned from our trip. Everything went smoothly and my now fiancee couldn't believe everything after I told her. Reeds is by far the best jewelry store, I would highly recommend especially when it comes to your engagement. Don't let the size of Reeds fool you, its not a big box store. Simply a perfect experience!

This has got to be the worst place ever. I purchased a ring from here on Dec. 10th. Deciding I wasn't happy with it I returned it on Dec 18th. Today is Jan 14th and I have yet to get my refund back. I contacted the bank that it was financed through and they informed me it was because of the store not the bank and suggested I contact the store manager.
I did that 2 days ago and have yet to hear from him. Not only that, but I had to make the payment to the bank anyway to avoid finance charges. Never in my life have I encountered a return policy as poor as this! Never a recommendation for here!

Just had a horrible experience here at Reeds. I brought my new to me Rolex in to have links taken out. The woman takes the watch and promptly tells me that "I can't size a Rolex if it's not real." Excuse me? I bought it from one of, if not the leading site for new and pre-owned Rolex's. So that was issue number one. Then she insults me by telling me that my watch is "certainly not new, and is a number of years old." I will never take any of my Rolex's here again. The condescending attitude from this woman was enough to steer me away for good.

She suggested having three links added to extend the length of the necklace, which cost me over $100 and barely helped. It was also clear that she was visibly frustrated with me for asking to have the item adjusted.
I have worn it once, and it has been sitting in a box in my closet ever since. Everything the store carries is great quality, but if you're looking for guidance, this may not be the place. When it was time for the engagement ring, he went elsewhere.

My folks purchased a watch from Reeds as a wedding present, and while their taste is impeccable, the watch was very similar to a watch that I already own. After speaking with Elida from Reeds, she was more than happy to coordinate an exchange for a different watch. Even though I live outside of NY, she was extremely accommodating and the entire transaction went smooth as silk.
I even got my watch (a special order) earlier than anticipated. I am very happy with this watch and it commemorates such a special occasion, every time I wear it, I think of the happiest day of my life! I cannot recommend working with Elida and Reeds' staff enough! Thank you!

I visited today Reeds jewelers on Maple to add one link to my Omega watch. No one greeted me when I walked in, I needed to ask if they do bracelet sizing, I had to interrupt 2 employees 1 male and 1 female who were talking behind the counter. The male was the manager. He answered me with hesitation and a very straight face, then took my watch and examined it for 5 minutes although this store carries Omega watches so I assumed that it is an easy task. However, his response was that they do sizing.
He kept the watch in his hand and without telling me how much will the charges be, so I had to ask him, he stated that it will be $30. I told him that this type of service to add one link is overpriced, he asked what I expected and I said $15 to $20. He gave me back my watch that he had on the counter without using any tray or pad and said: I have to charge you $30 and turned his face away from me.
This was the worst experience I ever had in a jewelry store. I was disappointed with this level of service. I was planning to look at Rolex watches while my watch is being sized but I will never spend my money there or deal with them for any reason. Customer's satisfaction should be a priority, usually the retail managers go beyond the customer's expectations and do their best to offer an excellent experience. I ended up sizing my watch at Jared the Galleria of Jewelry on the Boulevard where I was greeted by 4 employees and offered water and coffee. The manager did the sizing, took her time to build rapport with me and asked another employee to clean my diamond ring while I am waiting. I left Jared happy and satisfied; she made my day! What a big difference!

This review was long overdue as my days usually get consumed very quickly. I just wanted to ensure I gave praise were praise was earned. Back before Christmas I took my Rolex to here just to get it fixed as there really is no where else in the Buffalo area to repair these. Even though the watch was not purchased from them they were great to me from the moment I walked in.
Due to the warranty through Rolex they had to send the watch out which was absolutely understandable. When they called me I was told me that the issue was not covered under warranty and they were going to pick up the tab of $79 to repair the broke piece. When I went in to pick up the watch I asked them where I could take the watch to get appraised for insurance reasons and they said they could do it for me there at no cost.
This was huge as when I was in NYC at the Rolex store they told me that it would cost me around $250-$300 to appraise it for me. All in all one of the best experiences I have had in a retailer in a while. Ill be back to spend money. Thanks again.

Came in here to get my mom a Christmas gift. They sell Alex & Ani, which was on her list. Their selection was decent and I found exactly what I was looking for. This place is ritzy, but there were many different types of people shopping in here. They have a huge jewelry section, as well as other gift items. I'd say there's something for everyone here, in all price ranges, which is great.
They sell the Buffalo themed Christmas ornaments here - like the beef on weck or chicken wings. I heard that they have coupons, but I didn't use one when I came in. They also have a rewards program, probably to earn said coupons. I think that's a great idea, and I'm sure I'll be back in the future for more special gifts!

I had a great experience earlier this week when I went shopping with my dad. We were looking for something for my mom for Christmas. We were greeted immediately when we walked in the door. Mark helped us and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We picked out a great necklace I know my mom will love! I will definitely be coming back to this Reeds location and I would recommend it to anyone.

This is my favorite Reeds location. It includes not just a large jewelry selection, but also a sizable home goods section. They carry a wide variety of figurines, bowls, and other kitchen items. I'm not as familiar with the home goods, as I usually am in to view the jewelry. This location has a wide selection of jewelry, ranging from expensive watches (Rolex, Tudor, tag Huer) to birthstone/ diamond jewelry.
They also have some big/popular names, such as David Yurman, Lagos, Alex and Ani, and Rolex. We've dealt with a few different sales associates, and they have all been helpful. They also have a rewards program of sorts, so be sure to check into that, especially if you are making a larger purchase!

I have been a customer of Reeds for the last 15 years and I have always had a great experience! I stopped in the other day because my necklace chain broke and the manager was able to fix it right on the spot! Their customer service is excellent! They have a newly remodeled store that offers a large variety of watches, diamonds and plenty of other jewels and home decor specialty items. They are always my 1st choice for jewelry!

I've always really liked Reeds & Jenss. It's a great place to shop for gifts. They have a great selection of Swarovski, Vera Bradley, Alex & Ani, Pandora, Movado & Rolex. They also have beautiful household decorations and platters/plates. Yesterday, I went to purchase a Movado watch for a friend of mine who is retiring. I knew the exact model I wanted.
The very helpful woman behind the counter found it immediately and even gave me a coupon for $100 off of the purchase. The watch ended up being $200 cheaper at Reeds than it was from the Movado website! In addition, Reeds is engraving the watch at no additional charge. I've never been given free engraving at any other store. I was very pleased with my experience.
