I don't know where to begin. Sam and his staff are beyond amazing. My first experience with Sam was so easy and helpful that I was shocked. I needed to get an engagement ring and was lost. Sam and his team are one of a kind! After having looked at store after store for an engagement ring for my fiance, I was left lost and hopeless--until I came to Sam. He was helpful on so many levels. Most importantly, instead of just putting a bunch of rings and diamonds in my face like other places, Sam asked me about my fiance: her height, her dressing style, her preferences, her typical jewelry. Based off of this he recommended to me which rings she would like and what would match her. Next, Sam took the time to explain to me the different things to look at in the diamond.

I learned so much just talking to him. Based on all this, he showed me some rings. When I told him none of the rings he had were exactly what I wanted, he suggested something I had never heard of before. He offered that instead of buying the final ring that I select the diamond and he would put in on a simple band and then I could have my fiance come in and build the ring that she wants! WOW!

Finally and most unexpectedly, I figured such top notch products and service would cost me an arm and a leg. Nope. Sam was the most affordable jewelry I went to from the many, many, MANY jewelers I visited. I have since come back to Sam for my wedding bands and I will be coming to Sam from now on. He's my jeweler for life and he should be your's too--don't waste your time anywhere else.

This is absolutely the best place to get jewelry for all occasions. My family has had different generations that have been coming here because you get amazing quality and they are always very trustworthy and honest. I have gotten all of my most sentimental pieces of jewelry not to mention all of my sibling have gotten there wedding rings here. They have a large selection as well as many custom pieces. There jewelry is like little pieces of art.

Many years ago we visited the L.A. Jewelry Mart on a couple of occasions before we discovered Farah. Both my wife and I were immediately impressed with the fact that John and Sam were leagues above the rest of the merchants. Their honesty and sincerity were obvious from the beginning. Although we live over 50 miles from downtown L.A. we have shopped exclusively with Farah for over 30 years.

If you have time for a significant example read further: A few years back my wife wanted to upgrade her wedding ring so we attempted to go to Farah but they were closed due a family situation. So we purchased a ring from another merchant located in the same room. A couple of years later my wife again wanted to upgrade so we went to Farah thinking, incorrectly, that we had purchased it from them.

The minute John looked at the ring he said "I did not sell you this ring." He showed us an imperfection using the magnifying eye piece saying "I would never carry this stone." He was right; and then we remembered buying it from the other merchant. We did the upgrade with Farah but we kept the flawed diamond because they had no use for it. Farah carries only the finest quality merchandise, they pride themselves on it, and their customers count on it. And their prices cannot be beat.

Wow! So many great things I can say about Sam and Farah jewelry. First off, the prices were awesome and the selection was great. Sam was super helpful and answered all my questions. He went above and beyond to get me exactly what I wanted. The ring is beautiful and I can't wait to propose to my girlfriend. Farah jewelry was highly recommended to me and now I see why. Thank you guys, will definitely be back for furture jewelery.

We went to alot of jewelry stores in Farah Jewelry and south coast jewelers made us feel the most comfortable and were very easy to work with. Courtney helped us buy our engagement ring and both wedding bands she was awesome, friendly, patient, and very informative. She really knows alot about diamonds and jewelry and we are very happy with our purchases! We'll definitely recommend them to anyone.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I can't say enough about Sam and his brother. They took care of me since the beginning and delivered the most gorgeous diamond for my fiancee. She was absolutely ecstatic. All I did was send them a photo of what I wanted and they nailed it perfectly. They even gave me a ring box that had a built in light so that when you opened, it shined and glistened like no other! I loved the diamond so much my fiancee and I even got our wedding bands from him. The shop is in the heart of LA in the jeweler district, and they are by far the best!

I just got engaged on Saturday. I can't stop staring at this thing. For a number of reasons, an engagement ring represents a lot to me. Call me traditional, whatever, but I think that an engagement ring should really represent you as a person and your relationship with the person who gave it to you with all their heart. If I'm going to wear it every day, I want it to be art.

Art like the painting my grandparents gave me before they passed, that they said they picked because every time they looked at it, they saw something new. Art that has that kind of emotional connection behind the sparkle. And, I'm kind of a complex person, so that's actually an enormously tall order. I wasn't there when this ring was purchased or designed and therefore had nothing to do with a lot of the process. THAT BEING SAID I can't even wait to go in to go in and get it slightly resized before I write this review. Why? Farah Jewelry helped my fiance KNOCK. IT. OUT. OF. THE. PARK.

I just said that my ideal engagement ring was not exactly an easy mission to begin with, and somehow, because of this collaboration with my fiance, I now have ART ON MY FINGER. Art that looks completely modern from normal angles but has gorgeous antique-like filigree detail when looked at from the side (and a little diamond too!). Art that, like me and like my relationship, gets more beautiful as I get to know it.

I am floored beyond words. Art that moves me whenever I see it, for all that it represents. I can't wait to thank you all in person! (PS - The ring box with the LIGHT IN IT was insanity. Such drama. I thought an angel flew out of the box when he got down on one knee, that's how bright it was. Kudos.)

Do not ever purchase from them. My wedding bands are a complete disaster. The quality of work was horrible. I had my bands custom made and upgrades my center diamond. The prongs have visible dents and my wedding ring literally can stand up straight.

Absolutely love Farah's! My engagement ring is from here and I couldn't love it anymore! My now fiance and I went down there just looking and Sam was a huge help! I found numerous ring I enjoyed but he pulled one from behind the counter that I absolutely loved! Not to mention they are great priced! My ring appraised for twice as much as my fiance payed for it!
