I gave 5 stars for good customer service and reasonable prices. Needed to pawn personal items for car repairs which felt kind of humiliating to have to do anyways. They offered far better price than the get over on north and Druid hill. I will never darken that doorway again Customer service goes a long wsy for me. Thank you gentlemen for being courteous n polite n professional and for making process so easy.

SCAMMERS! They sold my camera and accessories that was stolen! A thief stole my stuff and sold to them. I showed them proof that the serial number to the property was mine. They hurried and sold my stuff before the police could get it back! Stay away from this shady business! They have no morals. They sell stolen property. No wonder why there's so many thieves in the city.the thieves can count on them to accept stolen property!

They even had the nerve to propose I buy MY property back! Trash business! Response to owner: I have never received a call from anyone at this establishment. You must have me mixed up with another person that had their stuff stolen. The individual who stole my property was not a family member! I will call, as directed, and update my rating accordingly! 4/22/22 - Spoke to Pat on the phone about incident.

They have on record the property in question. He wasn't aware of the incident so he speak on what exactly occurred but after the hood on my property was released by the Police Dept Pawn unit, his shop sold it soon after. I'm just upset they were aware the property was stolen and didn't contact me before selling it, since they did have my contact information.

The value of the camera was substantial enough but the photos on the memory card was priceless. Unfortunately, nothing was resolved and I only received sympathy from the call.

Great people that work there. My father and I used to go to Gordy regularly until we moved. I hope their honesty and integrity has continued since we left.

Came here to repair my watch band with a replacement watch I bought online. Was told that the two bands actually did not fit each other, but got the service done anyway. They were even kind enough to do it for free.

We needed to replace a lost diamond in a my wife's wedding ring and Aaron was highly recommended to us. He was fantastic and helped us get the perfect diamond set in her ring. Go here first!

My wedding rings needed a lot of work. some bigger companies quoted me 3 times the price. They fixed them completely and made them look BRAND NEW. I highly recommend Greenmount to anyone!

Called this shop to sell my computers and was told to bring it in. Spoke to the clerk again upon arrival and was told to bring it inside the store only to be told they have no interest in buying. Had to drive for several miles to get there in the first place and i was made to bring in the heavy boxes into the store by the clerk. This business needs to respect people and their time. My time is valuable.

10/10 definitely recommend this place! Everyone at this location is very nice and helpful. I worked with Aaron, he designed my girlfriends engagement ring and it came out absolutely gorgeous! I couldn't imagine it any better than what it is. I love them there. We will definitely be going back if something else is needed.

A little sketchy on the outside and not in the greatest part of town, but they did a really nice job fixing the broken chains on two of my necklaces! 24 hour turnover was nice. $52 to fix two gold chains ($26 each).

Wow, it's was three years ago that I walked through the doors and instantly became a fan.! The customer service by all staff is beyond awesome. As a fan of jewelry especially Diamonds. I have found over and over again, true treasures that I would otherwise would not have been able to afford, as well as unique pieces that are not available in mall jewelry stores.

I stumbled on Greenmount Loan and Jewelry on Yelp when I was looking for a place to get my watch battery replaced and saw that it was well reviewed. The staff is very friendly and put a new battery in for me free of charge, and they also did a stellar job replacing the stones in my grandmother's ring (at a very reasonable price!). One had gone missing years ago and I just never got around to having it fixed.

They also polished the very well-worn center stone and it could not look any better! They have some beautiful things for sale there, too, and I couldn't resist taking home another gorgeous ring while I was there (also very reasonable priced!). I will definitely be back and highly recommend Greenmount!

Friendly, prompt service. Replaced my watch batteries within minutes. Found a problem with the strap and put in a new one. on the house! Highly recommended.

I was walking around Towson mall trying to get my watch battery changed and everyone wanted $15-20. So I searched on Yelp and came across this place. Took them 2 minutes and the cost was only $10 cash for the service! They even gave me a discount since I was a first time customer!

I went into the store today to get a watch resized. I was attended to immediately. The gentleman who helped me took a few links off my watch in just a few short minutes. The price was $10, which I was fully prepared to pay, but he told me it was on the house. The experience impressed me and I left happy. Will definitely come back if I need something fixed or resized, or who knows, I might want some jewelry at a discounted price. Great place.

Aaron was very helpful. My wife and I were over there with several neckplaces that needed fixing. He was honest about what could be fixed and couldn't and he even fixed one practically for free within a half hr. (We just went shopping across the street at the goodwill store across the street during that short time!).

These guys are super sweet! I went in just before closing time one evening and they still helped me out with my watch problems. But they will try to sell you the Rolex and they almost got me.well cuz you never have to change the battery ever again.

One thing that I can say about Greenmount loan and jewelry is that all of the sales people are courteous and attentive. Even if I didn't have the Groupon I would say that I would shop there, because they give A feeling of safety and security while you're shopping, and they give you the attention that you deserve. Kudos gentleman I'll be back!

Paid a visit here to repair my Seiko quartz watch and Casio digital watch. Unfortunately they do not do digital watch repair, so I could only get my Seiko done. Service was quick and friendly. $10 and 10 minutes and it's good to go. Cash only for watch repairs.

I worked directly with Kenny and everyone is very nice here. They're also super knowledgeable about stones :. I had my ring resized in the same day and also got some free expert opinion about the quality about a ring I had bought online so wasn't sure if it was real. I am very happy with the experience and also getting to meet some nice people who are also very good at what they do!

Doodes. This place is awesome. I had been slowly but surely not wearing my watches when the batteries died. Saw awesome reviews for this place and headed out. In less than ten minutes my watches were functional again, and they gave me a discount. Awesome service, competitive prices, no need to go to a fancy jeweler in Towson! So happy. Thanks guys! As far as pawn shops go, this is the least depressing one I've been to yet! Watch battery replacements were 10 bucks each - cheap! Also, they were done in ~5 minutes. Of course in that time, I heard two separate tales of woe from customers asking for extensions on their hock, or a little more time. What blew me away was how considerate the sales associates were.

They cut both people a break - something too rare in that line of work. Also, no bars on the windows or glass between workers and customers, which is surprisingly reassuring.
