Had excellent experience at Samuelson's Diamonds & Estate Buyers. The staff at Samuelson's was very patient answering the many questions that my wife and I had. I made an appointment with Samuelson's to sell some pieces of silver flatware. This was my second experience with Samuelson's. Making an appointment was an easy and professional process. I was fortunate to have the same gentleman evaluate my pieces at both appointments. He was efficient and he described each step of the process. The amount I received was at the high end of the value of the items.
On my first visit I received 10% more than another buyer offered. I would recommend consulting Samuelson's Diamonds and Estate Jewelry when you have precious metal or stones or estate jewelry to sell.

Samuelson's is AWESOME. My engagement ring is an antique ring from the 1930s. It's absolutely gorgeous, and so when the delicate shank (I learned that that's what jewelers call the band) formed a crack around one of the inset diamonds, I went to Samuelson's because of their great reviews. I worked with Eric Sanchez, who used a laser to fix the crack.
It seemed to do the trick, until I caught it on something a couple of weeks later and the weak part gave way, and the shank split completely. Determining that it was a flaw in the initial design, Eric talked me through the process of created an entirely new, thicker shank. I just got it back today and the craftsmanship is perfect. This is coming from an extremely detail-oriented person.
I don't have to worry about the fragility of the ring anymore and it looks fabulous. Another thing I learned is that since the main stone is an emerald and emeralds cannot take high heat, the traditional methods of welding could not be done on this ring, hence the use of a laser. I don't think many jewelers would take the time to explain in depth the processes they use but Eric was happy to answer all my questions. These guys are the best!

I knew I wanted a vintage inspired engagement ring, so after about 6 jewelry stores with no luck, I googled "vintage rings" and Samuelson's came up. Skeptical, but running out of options my fiance and I went a couple days later with plans to only look, and maybe for some inspiration. We met with Nadav, who was so kind and patient. He answered all of our questions and made us feel like friends, not customers.
This ring made my whole vibe light up, and a week later it was sized and ready to be picked up! On the afternoon I went to pick it up, it was a little big, so the jeweler (whose name I wish I could remember because he was SO great) re-sized the ring for me in less than an hour so I could take it home with me that afternoon! My fiance and I are life-time customers now. I love my ring! Thanks Nadav & crew! FANTASTIC experience!
