After my divorce, I had to sell my engagement ring and a friend recommended to go to the Jewelers Building in Boston. I roamed around looking for a store that buys jewelry and ended up with several offers that were drastically different. At Cambridge Jewelry & Watch Buyers, Jim the owner, greeted me with a smile and a handshake. He could sense my nervousness and began telling me about his three daughters.

He then proceeded to give me a brief lesson on diamonds and an offer to buy my diamond. His offer was HIGHER than any of the previous offers in the SAME building. I highly recommend Jim. He is honest, fair, knowledgeable and very kind.

I wanted to get my husband the perfect anniversary gift. He never really asks for much but i remember he mentioning that he always wanted and nice watch. With our anniversary being so close to Christmas it was hard to think if I was going to be able to do it financially. After looking around I found the Jewelers building in Boston was going to give me the best selection.

I really liked the gentleman that ran the store and he was very nice about teaching me about the watches he gave me a great price from the start. I know because I had been pricing around online. It was a waste of my time. I ended up back at Cambridge Jewelry and Watch Byers and got my husband his dream present. A beautiful Rolex watch. He was so happy. It was such a great transaction that I would always recommend people to go here and speak to Jim.

There's not a more honest, straightforward buyer in the Jeweler's building than Jim. Very knowledgeable about diamonds and high grade watches. I never felt pressured at all when working with Jim, which happens all too often when high value items are changing hands. Thank you!

Since the holidays were over, i decided to do a clean up in my house. Once i was done i noticed that i had a fairly small amount of broken jewelry and unmatched earrings from the past. After putting it in my trusty zip lock bag, i headed into the jeweler's building, knowing i was going fo get best price in there. I went to 4 jewelers before stumbling into a little shop on the 4th floor, cambridge jewelers.

Not only did i think the jeweler was super sweet and honest to me but he gave me a quote $150 more than the highest quote from the rest. Now i know, don't waste time and go directly here. Thank you, I'm so happy. Honestly that's an extra $ in my pocket to use in my spring vaca!

He is professional, knowledgable, and also a nice person! The whole exchange took 20 minutes and that included testing a piece for a bit so he could give me the best price. I found Cambridge jewelry on Yelp and he had great reviews so I gave them a call and Jim was happy to meet me by appointment on a Saturday. I had been thinking of proposing for awhile and was just nervous because I'd never bought a diamond before. My girl had told me kind of what she wanted so I had an idea. Great experience! I went to two places to sell my jewelry before going to Jim and not only did they offer me much, much less and identify the quality of my jewelry incorrectly - the experience felt pressured and uncomfortable. In contrast I felt very comfortable with Jim and knew he was being honest and fair. He also paid for my parking! I thank him for helping me pay for my son's braces!

Ive never felt as slighted as when I went to Cambridge to shop for accessory jewelry for my wife and a Rolex for me. They acted very superior to me and treated me like an child. Their pricing was out of line and were not willing to work with me even from a price match perspective. Bad business ethics. Also, if you aren't dressed like a million dollars, that's exactly the way you are treated.

I decided to sell a Rolex and several pieces of gold. I was cautious about this transaction. I was greeted by Jim Vellucci and I sensed he was down to earth and welcoming. He priced 10k, 14k 18k and 22k separately and as he stated the weight, I did the calculations in my head.
