The ladies who own this shop do stellar work! I loved the first setting they designed for my small necklace. This time they repaired my wedding ring of 50 years (this year) though the gold gave them problems. They would not quit working on it until they had it repaired to its former glory. Their standards are very high! I highly recommend their business for anything you need done in the world of jewelry.

Came by during normal business hours to drop off a ring for resizing, the place is closed with a sticky note that says "back in 5 minutes" and there are like 4 dogs by themselves inside barking at everything that walks by. I waited for 20 minutes to see if anyone was coming back, now it's closing time and still no one. Not a great first impression.

BEST JEWELER EVER I took my grandma's wedding ring here to remodel into something I would like to wear (it's a very old ring, a little gaudy, and I'm in my late 20's so it's pretty far from something I would pick out). I gave them a general idea of what I wanted (simple and classy) and they were so incredibly helpful in trying to figure out exactly what I wanted.
They finished the ring in a timely manner and even sent me a photo of it once it was finished because I was out of town and wouldn't be able to pick it up for a while. They absolutely exceeded all of my expectations for the ring and made it so cost effective. Great service and talent! Thank you!

After taking my own gold and stone to have set and being assured the design I wanted would be "no problem". I waited over four months, charged twice as much as was quoted and it is nothing like what was agreed upon style wise. Having to have my family heir loom stone back, I had to just pay for it and leave. Workmanship was fine, but not what was agreed upon.
Even after sending the proprietor a letter outlining what could be done, leaving the ball in the Owner's court, she proved what I thought and I never again have heard a word from anyone at Goldworks. Nice work but not to order and not worth $1200 when I provided the gold and stone.

Took my wedding band in to them because the center band had come loose. Asked them to make the two pieces secure and smooth a nick on the inside of the band. I was VERY clear that I wanted to maintain the look of the ring, and keep the clear delineation between the middle and outer portions of the band. They melted the one part of the band into the other, so there is no longer a clear line between them.
Then they "buffed" the entire band until it shone. Great, except that it was a hammered ring, with a sanded finish. They "buffed" all of the finish away, and much of the hammering. It now looks nothing like my husband's ring. They ruined my wedding band doing a simple fix. I am not only angry, I'm really sad that my precious wedding band is beyond repair.
I should have known better when the jeweler wouldn't come out and talk to me, but instead kept relaying messages through the counter helper. Please, take your jewelry elsewhere.

Lovely jewelry store, with a really artistic and individual sense of style. I am not a jewelry wearer, so having wedding rings made was a little daunting. The designer at Goldworks was creative and patient, and made exactly the right pieces for us--respectful of our design sensibilities and budget both. I really loved the experience, and highly recommend the shop.
