Swarovski is restructuring the entire company and reducing the amount of shapes and colors they make in beads! We still have a nice selection of sizes and colors. We will not be replacing our stock when it runs out. Color-changing thermosensitive mirage beads - also known as mood beads - are so entertaining to design with. Choose from contemporary, seed and retro styles.

Harlequin Beads offers thousands of beads - Swarovski crystal, Czech glass and seed, Miyuki seed, gemstone, handmade, bone, wood and clay beads - plus findings, stringing materials, tools, books, online beading instruction videos and jewelry projects. We offer one of the largest selections of Swarovski beads with hundreds crystal and pearl beads in stock.
CzechMate triangle seed beads have two holes. The holes in these super-cool triangle shaped glass beads are the same width apart as those of the CzechMate bricks, bars and SuperDuos, so they work great together. Jewelry patterns with 2-hole seed beads are all the buzz in the beading world, so we expect to keep adding more colors to our selection for your designing pleasure.
In our metal section you will find beads, findings, chain, wire, charms and bells - all of the metal components you'll need to accent and finish your jewelry designs and crafts. We pride ourselves in our quality jewelry metal selection, including many items made in the USA by TierraCast from lead-free pewter.

Every time I have been here they have always been exceptionally helpful. I go for mostly jewelry repair, and a lot of it. They are a bed shop and they offer classes. So when I found out they could help me with jewelry repair I was very excited! I had been looking forever for help. Staff are ALWAYS very Nice! They are always accommodating and they do beautiful work.
In the past I had been turned down from Jewelers because while my metal is not 100% gold. I do have genuine gemstones and a lot of silver. That is why I'm so excited I found Harlequin. They are more than happy to help out, give suggestions and their turnaround time is exceptional. I would highly recommend Harlequin as a place for beads, classes and repairs.

This place had everything I needed and more to create the projects I've been wanting to finish. Their selections of beads is exquisite and top quality! I got lost in the sea of beads for over an hour. They showed me how to use their products and even made suggestions to make a quality piece. Any and all questions I had were answered and if they didn't know the answer they looked it up for me.

I am not crafty! Not one tiny bit, but I did get hit with inspiration and decided to make necklaces for the seniors on my daughter's soccer team. They were a hit! Not because I was creative or knew what I was doing, but because the wonderful staff was SO helpful. They helped me pick the perfect beads. They had soccer balls and numbers so we were able to personalize each one. You don't have to know what you are doing to go here- it's just fantastic how helpful they are!

As hobby lobby and be Franklin don't keep stock of the wire, this is the only place in town that has it. But frankly, waiting three days is much better than having your energy drained. It might just be my experience, but I never get offered help, or greeted. Not to mention not a, thank you, for supporting a local shop. And sorry you didn't remind me about the discount card, and I waited till after you swiped my card. I know pressing a button was enough to send you into frustration. Why show any attitude?.

This place has come pretty far from a year ago. The selection is expanding and there's usually fairly decent sales. I am a beadweaver, which means that thread is pretty important to me. So one of the first times that I went to the store, I was looking for Fireline. For a store filled will all sorts of beads, including a pretty huge selection of tubes of Miyuki Delicas and Precosia hanks, you'd assume that the staff would know what beadweaving is.
They were selling finished beadwoven pieces in the store, so I figured it was a safe bet. However, when I was looking for the thread, I couldn't find any thread at all for beadweaving. Nothing. I asked a staff member where their threads were. She asked me for what, and I told her for beadweaving. She and the other woman had no idea what the hell I was talking about.
I was stunned. They ended up selling me this thin stringing stuff and to put it shortly, I thought twice about shopping there. It's been about a year and a half and I'm pleased to say that they have finally caught up to the times and have a selection of beadweaving supplies (thank god). The reason I they're not getting a 5 star from me is because of a few small things. Prices could be a little more fair, although sales are ok. Re-stocking has been slow sometimes, I waited months for a certain color of bead to get re-stocked, and they also had a lot of things just empty for the longest time.
So you can't bet on certain things being in stock. Other than that it's pretty damn great. Clean shop, no digging through cull beads, staff to help. Worth taking a good look at.

I love this store. They acknowledge me as a repeat customer and are always friendly and helpful. I've never had anyone "breathing down my neck" but as any smart business would do they keep a close eye out. As a hobbyist I like the fact that you can buy beads and crystals by the piece. They have good sales and if you have a discount card you get 10% off your purchase. Awesome selection and a variety of fun classes.

I've been in the jewelry business for 7 years and I always dread the emergency trip to the over-priced bead store for supplies that I need too urgently for an internet order, especially when I have to go to Harlequin. My biggest qualms with this particular store is the employees and the prices. I hope they read this and perhaps take a step back as breathing down the neck and closely following your costumers around constantly pestering them makes for a very uncomfortable shopping experience.
I understand, due to the location, that they are extra mindful of shop lifters but practicing an eagle eye rather then stalking would help tremendously. I write this after three separate experiences in the store and after talking to fellow jewelry makers in town who agreed. The prices are very high which is to be expected from a storefront bead shop. The three stars are for the variety, selection and layout which is superior to other shops I have visited. This shop is best for small projects and not for professionals.

I was travelling to Eugene for a festival and my friend needed some quick bead needs for her display. We went to Harlequin and found it be greatly organized, wonderful selection and nice prices. The staff knew their stuff and were not only helpful on a beading level, but had great food advice for us travelers. I wish I could have caught a workshop, the space looks great! I'll definitely point my crafty folks their way if they are ever headed to Eugene.
