I purchased a drone. Battery does not charge. Guy had the nerve to say it was new. Really? I was not trying to return it. Wanted to know what they could do being I need to purchase a new battery. They basically said "I can't do nothin for you man". I am also been a customer from a long time. Companies like this destroy the resale business. I would not recommend this business.

Very rude no costumer service. It's was my first time pawning gold just rude. Untrained does not know the price of anything you sell them.

Don't worry about them being nice. N except them to sell your shyt if u r late. But I sell my used jewelry here n they pay more than the compensation.

The employees who are currently working at this location have been consistently providing quality matter-of-fact service, almost to a fault. Even when this locations customer base show dissatisfaction, they stay professional during the interaction. If there any issues, they are usually resolved promptly. After the riots from last year, and other factors, some items were no longer being accepted for sale/pawn at this location, which is a shame. It was a business decision. Otherwise, yes, would recommend.

"The staff is very rude the manager is even worse": I totally concur! Since newest owner obtained the so-called business the service declined severely; use to be a good company. I was ejected yesterday with a racial infective by said manager. After calmly waiting for 5 minutes for the rude lady to find my long-term account I got annoyed and mentioned my displeasure and was rudely confronted. Would give 0.5 star rating (at least they required masks so they get a 0.5 rating) if I could. Contacting the BBB for age and race discrimination. KL

They so rude the two men with glasses. is very rude I always come to this place to do business but they act as if they have not eaten or as if one asked him what they would give him free money.

I drove from Vallejo to Oakland because the Buy Sell Loan Inc. website listed their business as "open." After driving to their location in Oakland I found they were indeed open. Unfortunately, once inside their store I found there was a guard at the door who buzzed me in, and a cashier/clerk behind the glass-encased counter, but there was no merchandise in their cases!

I asked if they had any watches for sale and was told "Yes, but we haven't put anything out today, we can help you tomorrow." His attitude was rude and condescending, he pointed at the cases as if to say 'Can't you see there is nothing out on the floor?' I commented that this was unfortunate and left the store in search of another place to find watches.

Aside from the fact I drove 26 miles to get there, I was also prepared to spend 8,000 dollars for a nice Rolex. It seems to me that if you advertise that you are "open" for business, you should actually conduct business when your doors are unlocked and you have a customer standing at your counter. I had to give this business one star because it does not allow me to leave zero stars.

Worse place to do business. Lady in the front is a piece of shit. She got mad and threw my iPad back to me out of box. Tried to find a used value to a new iPad. They're running a scam and I will be in touch with corporate.

Unprofessional. Rude as hell. Untrained. No knowledge of any items that walk through that door. Nothing but cheap items on their shelves covered in dust and grime. Their shelves are barely even stocked in the first place. This has to be the saddest pawn shop to ever exist.

I came because of the quality jewelry offered and had to make several trips before making a final purchase. Also experienced up charging on an item that I considered buying. Tag was $950 one day, but changed to $1700 the very next day on Valentines Week. That really surprised me-my guess is this is done often. Unlike their competitors, they don't deal to make their product move.

Maybe they don't have too. In any case, what I purchased was ticket price and no obvious attempt was offered to close the deal at a better price. The jewelry is lovely, but don't expect big savings. Never pawned anything with them, but as a buyer, I would expect a pawn with them would be poor return. They appear to be more of a retail operation.

After doing business with these with this business for pretty long time I thought we actually had some sort of report but they are the rudest worst and I would never bring anything there ever again to pawn and I recommend that nobody does horrible place

About 4 years ago my boyfriend bought me a couple rings from here. They were beautiful. And it was a beautiful thing to get rid of those memories finally, once and for all. Thank you guys

The staff is very rude the manager is even worse. They give you the lowest price if your selling or pawning something, and the highest price if buying something smooth rip off. I myself take customer serious if I'm spending my hard earn money and this place has the worst customer service. I would give half a star if I could

BROKEN GUITARS! I bought my wife an accoustic guitar here, for almost $200, and it seemed fine to me but I'm no expert so I took it to a music shop to get cleaned up with new strings and found out that the nut was so worn down that it couldn't be tuned/setup without buzzing. They, and 2 other shops, quoted me almost $200 to get it fixed.

Not worth it. Took it back to the pawn shop and of course NO REFUND, NO EXCHANGE, NO CREDIT. Honestly, I kept my cool, but the employees seemed DELIGHTED by my situation and LOVED turning me away. Total jerks and scammers

Unfortunlately, I'm giving this place 1 star. And I don't like giving 1 star reviews- because it means they're lacking or slacking someway. But- Good thing about this is that its fixable. Well I came here with an authentic vintage well known piece. In less than 1 minute the first service rep told me it wasnt worth anything because there were no precious metals or stones.

I asked if she even opened the item because then she wouldve seen it for herself The makers mark and company quality logo, along with it also clearly stating inside that there are 15 jewels and it is 14k Gold FILLED. Instead she passes me off to the other CSR. This time at least it seemed like he took a moment or 3 seconds longer to inspect the item, but came back and told me that it was registering different things so they would pass. Ok, I'm cool with that decision and can respect that, but I was under the impression that this pawn shop had knowledge of high end pieces, especially the name of the piece and who it was made by.

I Felt as a possible come back customer they could've at least checked on line about the piece I had, I was the only custo.er there at the time, so they could've asked more questions s about from me.etc. I'm guessing this place is more like a cash for gold and into more Mainstream Trendy names. But if you have something vintage, rare, antiquish.

I wouldn't recommend it. But regardless, the Reps were "adequete" as far as performance. but like on a bare minimum for making effort, checking, asking customer questions and lacks knowledge of high end pieces.

I thought id give this place another try i went in on friday to pawn my not even year old macbook that goes for almost 4,000 dollars these people offered me 150 dollars to pawn it. what a waste of time. again i will not be back. this place is horrible i really used to like them. but they definitely make this decision to not come back way easier. These guys are either shady or dense, or both.brought in my almost 1 karat each high quality diamond earrings, and they told me they were fake and only worth their weight in gold. Despite my showing a warranty for them from a reputable east bay jeweler, and offering to show them an appraisal from a high end jeweler.

Nothing about me is fake, including my jewelry. So I bounced down the street to another shop that recognized the worth of my earrings, and knew they were real, and I got more than I was hoping for for them. Lesson learned: if I ever need to pawn or hawk something again, I will not go to these shady dense dudes!

Do not ever pawn anything with them I had pawned some jewelry that my deceased mother had given to me there.i went to go pay the interest because I couldn't afford to get my items out. I was kindly informed that two of my items had been redeemed. How is that possible when I had the original ticket. I was then told that maybe I forgot that i picked it it up.wow. so I asked to see a copy of the so called signed ticket and the signature was not mine. mind you you have to show id to redeem your things.i never lost my license.

They we very uncaring and basically i was told I'm sure shit out of luck. It's not the monetary value I'm concerned about it is the sentimental value. when I'm done with them you guys are going to have to find somewhere to pawn your jewelry. So now some one is wearing my deceased mothers shit

I have been a client at Buy Sell Loan for a couple of years. The staff had always guided me throughout this time and always treated me with professionalism and dignity. The store was always clean, well stocked with Paintings, crystal, jewelry, high level electronics and even musical instruments.-- it was always a pleasant experience. Yesterday I arrived and found a new drastic security system installed ( I understand the need for security) however that along with the drastic changes internally, no art, no crystal, the electronics were of poor quality and the power tools sort of just laid in a pile.

A staff member was more concerned about feeding the meter to their car and my transaction was interrupted frequently over the concern of this employees' parking dilemma. Sometimes going into a Pawn Shop is difficult enough add in an indifferent staff, dismal surroundings and some drastic security measures I won't be Coming back.

They pay 1/3 the price of scrap silver. 20 cents a gram as of feb 2018. That's pretty terrible considering most places pay 65% spot. I understand rents high and you need to make a buck but come on.

After making faithful payments for two years, they defaulted me on a $3k necklace over a $10 discrepancy in the payment we mailed in. Said they tried to call "several times" yet no message left, no missed call and no email I can find. They mailed me a letter on 12/29/17 saying we might be defaulted if they couldn't reach us. I called immediately upon receipt and JESUS said too late, I had to buy it back for full price. Was supposed to call me, never did. BEWARE, Thieves!

Called in to inquire about how close to spot they would pay for gold bullion and was yelled at about how he couldn't even give an estimate or a high/low value. The guy that answered sounded like a used car salesman.

Service was ok -- it took about a minute before anyone spoke and I was the only person in the shop. As stated in previous reviews, the shop is pristine, BUT if you're pawning anything worth money in my honest opinion you're better off selling on Craigslist, Amazon, or eBay. I was lowballed -- offered $90 for a like new Canon t5i DSLR camera. seriously?! That they're going to mark up to $300+. I'm amused.

This was a very interesting pawn shop. It looks very high end and they stock high end items. sorta. I liked the Asian collectibles and bought some. The people that worked there were very nice. Lawrence helped me with my purchases. He was very friendly and professional. I like to go to pawn shops and buy a variety of items and this is one I will add to my list of potential purchases in the future.

They featured art on the walls, no Monet though, Jewelry, watches, high end sunglasses, tablets, flat screens, and lots of instruments. We bought a sax, and some antiques. I felt a bit safer with the security lock they have on the back door. Parking is a bit of trouble, but I must have been lucky to find a spot in the parking lot next to the store.

Very friendly place. Quick and easy to get some fast cash. They made me feel comfortable as soon as I walked in and were very open and understanding of my questions. 4 stars because they should of given me $20 more for my pawn, but since I was in a pinch I rolled with it. And also, 5 stars is reserved for people and places that go above and beyond, which is rare, in my reviews.

So a 5 star is hard to come by for me. If they would have given me that extra $20 that would of put them in this rating. Tip: Like any pawn shop, they don't really give you what your stuff is worth because they do after all need to be able to resell it to make a profit. If something is worth $100 don't expect them to offer anything more than $20 kinda thing. But this is all pawn shops.
