My wife and I brought Alex & Co. a serious challenge: redesign a ring my father gave to my late mother, while preserving an inscription and eight small diamonds for our daughters. The results were amazing - even better than we imagined. This precious heirloom will have a new life for many generations. To top it off, we deeply appreciated the people, the service, and the entire experience.

Where is the zero stars review? They may be good on jewelry and you buying your ring for the loved one, and that bracelet for you wife on special occasion. but never ever give them a watch for a service. They completely ruined my automatic chronometer swiss watch which was a special edition, made in the 80's. not replaceable. And charged close to 700 bucks for it.

I spent 3 hours trying to sand and polish out the scratches they made. and movement does not run better than before, so I suspect nothing was done to it (can't really tell to be honest). Just avoid. Attitude was on par with the service.

My fiance purchased our engagement ring from Alex & Company after visiting several jewelers. He has been raving about his experience in working with the team there from the selection and quality of the diamonds in the shop, to designing the ring- he couldn't imagine having chosen a better jeweler, and I couldn't imagine a more beautiful ring! Everyone at Alex & Company are very helpful. They are patient and offer excellent help picking out engagement rings and other selections. They do not pressure you and if you do choose to purchase you leave feeling like you made an educated and elegant purchase.

Alex and staff were the perfect people to help me reset a stone in a new setting. I originally thought I would just have a broken stone replaced in the original setting but Alex made me understand just how much of the original ring would need to be rebuilt. There was no pressure to make any decisions and it took me a few weeks to really decide what I should do.

Once I decided on my new setting, work was done promptly and to the best possible result. Alex was able to suggest just how to show off the stone in the best way possible and when I saw the ring, I cried at how beautiful it was. Alex and team make you feel like part of their family. Everyone took ample time to explain every aspect of the engagement ring and helped me pick the perfect ring to ask with! They made sure when we followed up with wedding bands that we both were fitted properly and we found the best rings. Everything and everyone in their store is top quality. Last, and certainly not least, their dog Charlie has always come out from the back to greet me when I am in the store and he is such a cute pup!

Ordering a bracelet to Alex & Co, was the best decision for me in this year. It is a great company, starting from smiling face of Joanna makes you feel comfortable and her professional opinions directs you ask always more. I must admit Alex is the best artist I've ever met. I say artist cause I know what he makes is a piece of art. When you describe what is in your mind he starts to draw a skech.

It is a uniqe experience your wording becomes a drawing. All details including how your daily life effects to wear a jewellery are also important subjects for him. Moreover he is always trying to make more than promised, during the making process if he thinks there is a better result, calls you and share his opinion. It was all completely fun. I had the very good fortune of having Alex design a beautiful ring for me using 2 stones that I had and augmenting with other stones. I had always loved the original stones but the design was not special in any way. Alex fixed that! He listened attentively to my concerns and knew just by looking at the stones how he could make something unique and gorgeous.

I worked with Alex on a custom engagement ring (rose gold, hidden halo, thin Pave band). Throughout, the experience has been top-notch. Alex drafted the initial design on paper and steered the design in a particular direction where it made sense (e.g., look of the halo). The end result is a stunningly beautiful ring and the quality of craftsmanship outstanding. My girlfriend loved it. In talking with my then-girlfriend, I knew the basics of what she wanted in her engagement ring: the cut, the size, the band, etc. and had read good reviews of their work. When I went in, I sat with Alex and described with I was looking for, and he was able to show me something he'd already designed that was almost exactly what we wanted. If it wasn't though, I knew he could have also created us something from scratch. His work is amazing, and the best balance of cost/size/design etc.

Alex custom designed my beautiful and unique engagement ring, incorporating one of my grandmother's sapphires alongside the main diamond and a couple dozen pave diamonds--wrapping around as though on a ribbon. It was designed to be asymmetrical like my mother's, and to fit perfectly alongside my wedding band, which Alex will also design, to look like they were cut from the same mold.

When I first walked into Alex's store, I felt immediately welcomed by his staff. Explained what I was looking for, Alex drew a sketch for me, and gave my husband an estimate. I did check out one more jeweler, but did not feel their designs were as creative.

Alex & Co. deals in the highest quality of stones and materials, they give a fair price and will be respectful towards your desired outcome.

You should also see what he can do with good, outdated jewelry! Don't get rid of it or stick it in a drawer! Talk to Alex about how you might have a new, more current piece made. I have had a few pieces re-purposed and they are spectacular. Alex is amazing!

Alex was amazing! He has a real love of fine diamonds and was amazing to work with. He really listened to what I wanted and worked in my budget! He created a stunning pink diamond ring for me for my 10yr wedding anniversary. I wanted a natural/vivid pink diamond and Alex had great connections to find the right one. He also designed the ring to accentuate the middle pink diamond and used small pink diamonds around it and then white diamonds around that. It is everything I could ever want. Alex is the best! You won't be disappointed.

We have been working with Alex, and Alex and Company since 2000, and it would be hard to find a more creative, service-oriented group of people. In addition to my amazing [second] engagement ring, Alex has. made me my wedding band, multiple bracelets and necklaces, and diamond jackets for my earrings. I am never, ever disappointed. When it was done, it wasn't what I expected, and Alex completely took it apart, right there and then, and remade it to perfection.
