I'm generally always a bit skeptical with respect t to jewelers (though I'm skeptical whenever I'm about to spend a lot of money LOL) Cottage Hill was a pleasure to work with and is extremely responsive. We worked with Drew who was exceptional. He's very engaged with you throughout the process and he is hell bent on meeting your expectations.

Rather than try to push you in a direction based on his inventory, he will go the extra mile to secure the stone you are looking for. This was a replacement for wife's engagement ring (king story).and it was heads and shoulders, an entirely different experience than when we purchased the original ring. It was such a great experience that I'm writing this review.and I only write reviews for exceptionally amazing service or exceptionally shitty service. I can't say enough about Cottage Hill!

Parents have been going to this business for years. Decided to use them when I needed links taken out of my watch. They were very nice and friendly and did a great job with my watch. Would highly recommend them to anyone who needs watch or jewelry repair.

My fiancee and I went to Cottage Hill to look at engagement rings after having visited a jeweler in downtown Chicago. They have a large selection of beautiful settings and diamonds, including lab grown diamonds. Drew spent over two hours with us on a Saturday afternoon and was very helpful throughout the entire experience. We ended up purchasing a setting and loose diamond that same day and the ring turned out beautiful. They estimated 6 weeks for the ring to be ready and the estimate was spot on. We plan to go back for our wedding rings.

Bought my wife's custom engagement ring and custom band from Drew. Drew was very helpful and went above and beyond to earn our business. Drew took the time to explain the entire process from design to completion, and the pricing was very fair for the work we had done. I would definitely recommend Cottage Hill.

I worked with Collin Hill on sizing my Grandmother and Mother's wedding rings to fit me. Even though I was not purchasing new jewelry, I felt like Mr. Hill was just as attentive if I would have been spending thousands of dollars on new items. They were also able to appraise the pieces and make them sparkle again! I had a great experience, and will return in the future!

Abby and I had a phenomenal experience buying our engagement ring with Sam's help at Cottage Hill Diamonds! As a first time jewelry buyer I was not sure what to expect from this buying process, but Sam was able to walk me through each step and provide all the information I needed to make the right decision. At the same time, she had the expertise to go into deeper details with Abby to find the exact ring and diamond she was looking for.

My fiance and I absolutely loved working with Marisa at Cottage Hill Diamonds! She was so helpful and they even ordered in the engagement ring designs I wanted to see ahead of my appointment. They remade my wedding ring and did a fantastic job. Marisa is awesome to work with. She's clearly passionate about jewelry, and I love my new ring. I highly recommend them. Also, they have beautiful jewelry. I have a more 'artisan' taste in jewelry, and they have a line in their front display cabinet that is GORGEOUS.

I was referred to Cottagehill diamonds through a family friend. Can't say enough great things about this place. Collin at cottage hill helped me through the whole process of selecting a engagement ring. Let me tell you he made the whole process extremely relaxed and easy. Cottage Hill gave me and my boyfriend the most amazing exclusive treatment we could get. We went to some chain stores, but didn't like their manufactured jewelry and lack of customization. Going to Cottage Hill was the best decision for us because I wanted something unique and they spent weeks digging through stones and settings to create the perfect ring : They also had a super fun ladies night in early November and they sent my bf a letter describing the watch I want for Christmas Love Cottage Hill!

I had the pleasure to work with Colin. He helped me find the perfect diamond and the perfect band to go with it. He is very knowledgeable, and was able to explain everything that was going to happen. I walked into Cottage Hill Diamonds very nervous because this was a very big ticket item for me, but working with the family there helped greatly. Even after ordering the ring, Colin was able to change the size for me because I was worried it would not fit. Picking up the ring was easy and now its back there for re-sizing. Will definitely be going back for wedding bands in a few months.

What a nice group of people working here. We stopped in to get a ring cleaned and looked at some rings. We asked about a new line of diamonds they are selling and to our surprise they gave us two nice goodie bags filled with an array of items. What a nice surprise I highly recommend this store just based on their friendliness and willingness to take time to answer all questions without making you feel rushed.

Without much notice, my brother, Matt, decided he wanted to propose to his longtime girlfriend on Christmas this year. He reached out to Cottage Hill Diamonds and was emailed back almost immediately. Not knowing when he would be back in Elmhurst to look at rings, Matt included me (his patient older sister) on the discussions as well. Drew was very responsive and worked with us to set up an appointment.

Not only did Drew have options of what Matt was looking for ready when we arrived, he also gave us a quick lesson on diamonds. The process was painless, and we were able to pick up the ring the next day! Everyone working there was so friendly and accommodating. I would recommend Cottage Hill Diamonds to anyone looking for an engagement ring, wedding band, or any other great piece of jewelry! PS. She said 'yes!'

This place is amazing! I love that they are family owned and operated - it made the entire experience so much more personable. I got a gorgeous engagement/wedding ring that is unique and was adorable. Kurt helped us every step of the way. He even called several times to keep me informed of when the ring would be in. As a bonus, they paid for the first year of insurance. I can't say enough good things about them - stop by and you'll see or yourself.

My fiance ordered my engagement ring from here and it has been nothing but excellent service. I appreciate that Cottage Hill is a family owned business. My fiance's main contact was Drew, who was very helpful. Everyone on staff is super friendly. We've always been offered coffee or water and even got a Starbucks card from them at one point.

What jeweler does that? We came back a few times to get my ring cleaned and ordered our wedding bands here as well. I have a Mark Schneider ring and thought it was perfect that the designer also had a wedding band that perfectly matched my ring. It made our wedding band shopping extremely easy. My fiance decided to go with a titanium ring, which was much more affordable than the traditional gold.

They have several choices of metal for the guys (i.e. white gold, tungsten, and titanium).The staff is very knowledgeable and explains the pros and cons of each metal. Our wedding is less than a month away and we are all set with our rings, thanks to Cottage Hill!

My favorite jeweler hands down. If they don't have exactly what I'm looking for, they'll order it. Recently I wanted monogram neckaces for friends in sterling silver, and Norm (he recently retired) was more than happy to oblige, and the price was right. I like that during the holidays or for Birthday's, I can pick something for myself or friends that is quality, but doesn't break the bank.

What I like most is the family friendly atmosphere. The shop is family owned and the 4 sons and the father, work there. The others who work there are as friendly and helpful, too. Unlike the poster below, I've had nothing but good experience with their watch battery prices and program. For watches that either myself or my family plan to keep, we have lifetime batteries, which is a dirtcheap service of a 1 time cost.

For costume watches, I'm charged the exact same price everyone else is charging and I know my watch is in good hands. What's nice is, Cottage Hill Diamonds won't charge me if they see that the watch is on its last leg and isn't going to show the correct time for much longer. Same for jewelry repair. Quality is tops! I've been going here since my parents took me there when I was in grade school to get my first piece of sterling silver jewelry and a watch battery for my Lion King watch.
