My fiance and I went to Fey & Co. Jewelers with another engaged couple looking for wedding bands a few weeks ago and had such a great experience! Lorraine at Fey & Co. Jewelers is wonderful! When my now-fiance and I started looking at rings, a dear friend referred us to her--and I'm SO glad she did. At first, I thought I knew what I wanted, but after looking around, we opted to design a custom ring. Lorraine was helpful, knowledgeable and patient during the entire process. She really nailed the design from the get go, and the wax mold was perfect the first time.

After initially stopping in to see if my existing wedding set (NOT from Fey & Co) could be repaired, I decided to upgrade my current bands. The high quality of Fey & Co's selection from other jewelers - especially the mall jeweler that my previous bands were from - was extremely noticeable. Marissa walked me through my options while helping me stay within budget and made me feel like my heirloom diamond was in safe hands.

She also recommended an adjustment to my current ring size, which ended up being a perfect fit! The rings were returned to me sooner than promised and turned out even more beautiful than I had hoped. Thank you, Marissa, for helping me make a family diamond feel like "mine." I can't say enough good things about my experience here!

I was browsing the internet for a unique wedding anniversary rings as an upgrade. I saw what I thought was a different style located at Fey & Co. I called to inquire and spoke with Marissa. I told her I was just shopping around and she was very helpful, thorough, patient and educating. After a few months of questioning and having Marissa and manager search for what I wanted, we were able to purchase our new rings.

We could have easily purchased our rings from a store where we live in Florida, however, my interaction with Marissa formed a relationship that made me feel like I did not want to trust this process with anyone else. When we received the rings, they were gorgeous and all I hear from people who see them is how uniquely designed they are and sparkly. I catch a lot of eyes doing a "double take". I look forward to purchasing additional items with Marissa's and manager's and co-worker's assistance in the future.

I cannot recommend this place enough for those of you looking for a truly unique engagement ring. Marissa was absolutely fantastic in helping me and was able to create the exact ring I was looking for. My (now) husband and I had a great experience with Carolyn. My friend had recommended after her buying her rings there. I made an appointment with her and browsed engagement rings. She was really knowledgeable, friendly, and not at all pressing for a sale. I gave my then boyfriend her info and he contacted her when he was ready to purchase. She guided him through beautiful selections and I was more than happy with his choice. We also worked with her to purchase our wedding bands and again had a positive, no pressure experience. I definitely would recommend them and purchase again in the future.

This is one of the great family businesses in all of Chicago. I'm treated extremely well every time I'm here and there attention to detail, both in their jewelry craftsmanship and customer service, is second to none. I bought some ruby earrings for my wife yesterday. The staff could not have been more patient during my search and I can honestly say the price was unbeatable. Marissa, the saleswoman I typically work with, is especially delightful.

She is extremely customer oriented and is very thoughtful about her recommendations. Do yourself a favor and shop here. This is a terrific family run company that has talented employees. Go!

I recently had a really poor customer service experience at Fey. I had my watch battery replaced, and was asked if I wanted to pay the extra money to have it re-sealed (water resistant). Next time the watch went in the water 3 months later, (and was unrepairable as it flooded with water), Fey's response was that they can't take responsibility once the item has left the store. What? Doesn't everything leave the store?

Their further explanation, that "it may have been altered." Or that I must have had the crown out, maybe when I changed time zones and re-set the watch and that is why it failed. They said that must have been it, because their person tested it before it came back to me. Really? Never had any problem before, but the coincidence of going in water the first time after getting it back?

Now a good store would perhaps offer a discount on a new watch, as this one was $1200. Nope. Just an "I'm sorry." "Check with your homeowners insurance." Not at all what I would expect from a store that positions itself as high end.

My husband I have been patrons of Fey & Co for more than 10 years and we have always had a very positive, professional experience. The staff (owners and employees) are all very nice, personable, extremely knowledgeable and the prices are fair. We have made jewelry purchases and also needed complex repairs that were handled in a timely manner. There are many jewelers in Chicago but none with the ethics and customer service of Fey & Co.

This place has the best customer service I've experienced out of all the jewelers I went to (I went to quite a few). If you're looking for a knowledgeable, kind, low pressure sales team with a fantastic jewelry selection, this is the place for you. I worked with Heather and she was very patient and sweet (everyone else there seemed great as well). I highly recommend this place for all of your jewelry needs.

My, now, husband purchased my gorgeous engagement ring from here. What a wonderful experience coming in and meeting the person that helped him so diligently pick the perfect ring. They completed my bridal service super quickly, the customer service is phenomenal and the store is impeccable with loads of options for everyone!

My boyfriend and I went in to shop for engagement rings and I was blown away by the experience. Ring shopping is a bit overwhelming due to the never ending options of diamonds but Marissa was so helpful and really took the time to explain everything and answer all of our questions. We walked away feeling so much more comfortable and excited to make a purchase! I can't wait for the big day!

My girlfriends and I went in to look around and do some window-shopping. We were helped by Marissa and she was wonderful! Very friendly and patient, even though we had no intention of making a purchase at the time. She showed us different styles and sizes, letting us try on anything we wanted. She also measured our finger size and taught us the correct way to remove a ring. She even offered to do custom-ring drawings! I would highly recommend this store, and her, to any lucky girl in the market for a beautiful, responsibly-sourced ring.

My fiance and I had an unfortunate experience at Fey & Co. We went to multiple jewelers in multiple cities to look for an engagement ring, and this store felt too much like a sales pitch to us. They had a large selection of brand name rings, but the saleswoman didn't quite understand my style and seemed to get frustrated in the brief time that we were there. She also repeatedly called my fiance after our visit which turned us off. This was the only jeweler that took that approach with us.

I worked with Carolyn back in the fall of 2016 to select an engagement ring for my now wife. I really enjoyed working with her, as did my wife once we were engaged and needed to select wedding bands. I'm sure Carolyn is used to working with people with personalities running the gamut but she worked well with our personalities and approached everything with a true sense of level-headedness that we both greatly appreciated.

The store itself is luxurious and has a wide variety of engagement/wedding rings, diamonds, and other jewelry. Every person we've interacted with at Fey & Company has been nothing short of pleasant and extremely helpful. My wife enjoys going in to get her ring cleaned on occasion. While we're not immediately in the market for more jewelry, we will have no problem returning to Fey when we are, and we'll make sure to recommend others here when we can.

What else can I say about Heather and the team at Fey Jewelers, except perfection! I first walked into Fey's North Avenue location in the fall of 2015 as a nervous fiance-to-be, beginning my shopping for an engagement ring. Heather greeted me and offered me refreshment, and started by simply listening. I told her maybe what I thought I might be looking for, and she helped simply explore the shop.

She directed me to some settings, but never pushed me in any way. I shopped around a few other places, but it was an easy decision to come back to Fey when it was time to buy. Heather was patient and flexible as I changed my mind on more than one occasion, and once again never pressured me. I visited the store many times over a 3 month period until the final decision was made. Heather was friendly each time, and was so excited with me once I made a purchase.

My now wife of course loved her ring, and I thank Heather, along with the others who helped me make the decision. It was an easy decision to go back to Fey when it came time for us to choose our wedding bands. Once again, Heather was warm and patient, allowing us the time and space we needed to make such an important choice. She took notes in each session and had our previous favorites ready to review again each time we came in.

She assisted us through each and every detail, including the engraving of the inside of my band. I of course decided to visit Heather once more as it came time for wedding gifts. By this point, Heather had an excellent sense of our taste, and was incredibly helpful in selecting beautiful (and budget-friendly) diamond earrings for me to give to my wife on our wedding day. Heather had my wife's engagement ring professionally cleaned for the two weeks prior to our wedding.

We didn't want to wear the ring so it was nice for the wedding, and my wife was sad about it. Heather gifted us a beautiful promise ring from the store that she could wear in the interim. My wife still wears it on her other hand! After the wedding, we had an issue where my wife's wedding band lost a stone. We brought it in right away, and the jeweler replaced the stone and solidified the band at no cost to us.

It was both stress and hassle-free. Each time I see Heather she is genuinely happy and excited for us. Our wedding experience wouldn't have been the same without her. We will be forever grateful.

We were there picking out rings and let me tell you Jon was a pleasure to deal with. Once he knew what we wanted he pointed us to the perfect rings! There was no pressure to upsell or buy bigger or more expensive. Surprisingly their pricing is extremely reasonable! We couldn't be more pleased with the experience! Thanks again Jon! I recently purchased an custom diamond engagement ring @ Fey and couldn't be happier. If you are shopping for one and live in the city - do yourself a favor and get it there. The service alone is worth the price, but the quality is unparalleled. I know i received a truly unique and beautiful ring of the highest quality and have the confidence in Fey that if I were to need any repairs or touch ups that they would see to them immediately and with great care.

I worked with Heather. She greeted me with a smile (and a beer!) and began to walk me through the entire process of buying a ring. She is fun, meticulous and diligent and above all else, follows through and delivers. What seems like an eternity ago, I purchased my wife's engagement and wedding band from Fey in 2008. It was then and will always been a very enjoyable experience but that isn't the sole reason why I'll be a Fey customer for life. Flash forward to a few days ago and a panicked text from my wife. Her ring was damaged and a diamond fell out from the band where it was cracked. 'Great, this will cost a fortune.' We stopped in, Marrisa quickly took care of us and it'll only be $60 to repair.

She explained that they're a small, family jewelry store and they make sure things like this are addressed without breaking the bank. We even priced out to replace my damaged wedding band with a new one. Amazing customer service!

I recently had my fiancee's necklace repaired here, a simple solder repair. Everything went smoothly and I picked it up a few days later. The whole experience would have been great on it's own, but then I got a call. While closing up for the night, apparently they noticed that they had overcharged me for the repair. The excess charge was a whopping 8 cents.

For any business this would have been easy to overlook and simply ignore (what customer would notice an 8 cent overcharge on a credit card anyway right?), but the call spoke volumes about the integrity and honesty of Fey and Co. Of course I told them to keep the 8 cents and not deal with the hassle of refunding it, but I now have a very trustworthy "go-to" place for jewelry and repair in the city. Highly recommended!

Amazing! A friend of mine and I both purchased engagement rings here my fiance and his wife. We couldn't be happier with the customer service and experience. Each woman had a very different and very unique style and Fey & Co. was able to cater to both style. I did a lot of research on the four C's of diamond purchasing and Heather (my sales person) helped my find the perfect diamond. After proposing, I took my fiance in to look at other settings and diamonds, but changed nothing about the ring. Heather helped me find the right diamond on the first try.

My now-husband and I had a great experience working with Heather when we searched for my wedding band. Heather was very helpful and was able to help me choose a band to go well with my engagement ring which was bought elsewhere. The entire staff seems to be very knowledgable. Their prices are very fair for the quality of their jewelry.

Wow! I don't have enough amazing things to day about Fey Co.! My now fiancee went there so he could get an idea of rings, styles and details I might like. Dan was very very nervous! We came in and were greeted right away by Gail who put my fiancee right at ease and offered him a beer upon introducing herself (great touch!). I was a little nervous bc my center stone was inherited.

I thought perhaps bc we would be spending less than if we bought the stone as well we might not get as much attention- that was not the case at all. Gail was actually giddy at the idea of an heirloom diamond and a custom ring. It was really charming and she have us 100% attention and focus. I was interested in some details that were a little different (rose gold, unique band settings, unique galleries) - Gail's perception and attention to detail was amazing!

She really understood everything that made me sing despite my poor explanation and grainy Pinterest photos. She was also just wonderful w my fiancee! She was polite, not pushy, included him in the conversation and didn't ignore him- which made such a difference w him. He felt like he was apart of the convo. She took incredible notes and when dan came in to purchase she directed perfectly.

I am absolutely obsessed w my ring- it couldn't be more perfect! Beside that her customer service was impeccable and they treated a very precious family heirloom with such care. I couldn't imagine a better experience! Gail comes HIGHLY recommended!
