OPJ adjusted the watch band on a newly acquired watch--free of charge. Lovely and professional staff. They even offered me bottled water. How nice to be treated like a customer and I didn't spend a dime there--yet. Give them your business.

What a treasure! I spent about 30 minutes at Oak Park Jewelers waiting to have my ring cut off. As watched their staff deal with the many customers who came in I was impressed with the staff's knowledge, kindness and interest in their customers. Very positive experience. My grandfather gave me his wedding ring before he passed away. He told me that it was given by his father. Then those rings that his father has were given by his grandfather. So it is important for our family. It's more valuable than any others. It's big on my finger so I need to resize it. This shop was only recommended by my wife. Since her ring that I gave to her will be repaired by this shop. Brandon greeted me and I told him what I wanted.

He told me that he can do it and choose me if I can wait or come tomorrow. I will be back here tomorrow since I have a lot of things to do. I came here again and the ring was finished already. The output was really excellent. It doesn't seem to have been made because of clean work. He does excellent work. Nice job!

Needed a watch re-sized and new batteries for another two. I've heard how great the customer service is that I decided to give them a shot. Wow, amazing customer service. They took care of the resizing right away and within a day had the batteries replaced (guessing they could've done it as I waited but they were super busy and may not have wanted to rush the job).

I was so impressed that I wound up purchasing a watch from them. The most surprising thing about my visit was how "upbeat" the showroom was. I was expecting a boring and stale environment, and it was anything but. This is the type of place where people remember your name, even after a simple battery replacement! Will definitely return to support a local business.

Well I have to say I am very happy and surprised on the customer service now for Oak Park Jewelers. I have had several times serviced my luxury Watches with them and this particular time they went Above and Beyond expectations next to offering which I never experience Wine in a Jewelry store? Wow that was a 1st. Anyways this is the story of last year when I had my Movado Bold watch serviced because I noticed inside the case there was moisture going in.

I was hesitant 1st to have them service it because they stop selling Movado watches and before 2018 they said they were the official retailer selling Movado timepieces. I was wrong they still would service Movado watches in which I called and inquired about despite they discontinued selling Movado. Anyways they were fair to service it for almost $50 dollars and my sister ask and gave me that watch as a Xmas gift which I loved and appreciated.

What it was that this year I noticed I had the same problem with Moisture going inside the case of the watch. I took it back and they still honored there repair at no extra charge. They even made it so convenient to mail it to my residential address since they are limited in being open in the weeknights since I am now working 8 am to 5 pm far away and Naperville and that is the time they close on weekdays around 5pm.

I was going to go Saturday before 3 pm despite my own agendas I had to take care of but they went the extra mile to send it again via mailing to my residential home and received my watch. Anyways I give this Jewelry a 5 stars compared to the big chain jewelry stores in the shopping malls like Rogers and Hollands, Kay Jewelers or even Jared LOL. I wish I had pictures to show but I had to give the excellent word.

I will be coming back in the future for my other luxury watches if they need service including my prized Omega Constellation which was service for battery replacement 3 years ago and even Swatch watches for batteries since the Swatch store at Woodfield Mall went out of business and I got no simple support from Swatch which is my least expensive Swiss Timepieces. A special thanks to Patty and the rest of the great staff I have spoken too.

I would give them 10/5 stars if I could! I needed my engagement ring resized down from a 7.75 to a 5.75 because I *seriously* messed up my DIY ring sizing (whoops), and of course I was on a time crunch because I'm seeing my parents this weekend for the first time since the engagement. Dropped it off Wednesday and they had it ready by Friday morning! AMAZING! It fits PERFECTLY now and it's beautifully, seamlessly done--you would never know I had it resized. These folks are personable, responsive, and fair. When they saw that a watch they'd put a new battery in for me was not telling the correct time when I picked it up, they didn't charge for the battery, reset the time, and told me to come back for a free estimate if it wasn't keeping time. That's above and beyond. BTW, the watch works just fine! Thank you OPJ.

If Oak Park Jewelers is not your regular jewelry store, you either have never needed a jewelry/watch purchase/repair, or you've never been there before. Yesterday morning I was in the neighborhood, passing by with a necklace my 92yo mother asked me to have repaired. I knew they weren't open yet, but I stopped to check the hours on the door.

When I saw I had 35 minutes to kill, I was about to head over to Al's Grill for an omelet when a woman inside rapped on the window and waved me back. "I'm so early; I don't want to bother you, " I said. "It's no bother, " she said. "Come on in. I'm happy to help you." And she did. She was incredibly gracious and helpful. Everyone I know who has ever gone in there for even a small repair--fixes they sometimes don't even charge for--has been amazed by the level of service. I, for one, am SO glad they didn't shut down a couple years ago when it looked like they might have to. I can't promise you they'll open their doors early, but I can promise you it'll be worth the wait. (Marion & South Blvd.)

Akways there when you need something. I've been going here for purchase and repairs for many years. You feel like your part of the family. Everyone is very knowledgeable and not at all pushy. Highly recommended., you won't be sorry.

I recently worked with Zack, at Oak Park Jewelers to create a grandmother's ring for me. His suggestions in size and design worked out beautifully and brought a tear to me eye when I first so it. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because I had a little bit of a bad experience with one of the employees. I'm sure it wasn't intentional and everyone makes mistakes. It is how a mistake is dealt with that shows character, and the owner of this Jewelry store has integrity in spades. After this experience I would highly recommend Oak Park Jewelers. I know they stand behind what they do with the highest integrity.

I am new to the game of jewelry and jewelers but I was quickly educated when looking for my wife's wedding ring with her. We went around to 6 separate jewelers while looking for the right rings (one for me as well). This includes in my hometown, which I expected to be much cheaper than anywhere in Chicago. I was pleasantly surprised when visiting Oak Park Jewelers.

They have the staff to accommodate for a novice, like myself, as well as a more seasoned customer. Rob was especially helpful. I am glad to say that this was the last jeweler we visited as we found what we were looking for. They have a great selection and they helped make a few modifications to the rings easy and affordable. I plan on going back for future gifts.

Sam and his team are wonderful to work with. My fiance reached out to Sam and before he even went in Sam asked for what he was looking for. When he got there, Sam had a beer and several options waiting. The ring is gorgeous and three months later I'm still constantly staring at it. I needed to make it slightly smaller and Sam had it resized within a day.

When I walked in to pick it up someone immediately asked if I wanted water, wine or a beer. They are so attentive to their customers and we're already excited to go back and pick out our bands. We can't recommend OPJ enough.

Sam and the staff have made the store more modern, but have the same family atmosphere in the great downtown district of Oak Park. Sam and staff are a stones throw away from downtown Chicago, but their pricing is not at the downtown Chicago price levels. Great store, great people and even better value!

I recently brought my nephews 1 carat diamond engagement ring (broke up) to ask if we could use this diamond towards a new engagement ring. So the girl looks at it and says do you mind if I take it to the back and ask the owner. Trusting me says sure, no problem. She comes back and was acting weird and didn't really answer me. She asked if I had papers and I said no.

I said i can get it appraised though. She Hands me the ring back, unbeknownst to me she switched our ring out to a fake CZ ring. How did I figure this out, i took it to the appraiser who told me this is fake. The other way i knew was the original ring only for on my pinky, this one fit on my ring finger. I'm so upset that this happened and at a place i trusted (new owners but still). I've lost so much sleep and keep thinking about how stupid I was to let the ring out of my sight.

I know this place will never admit to it but want people to know to not make the same mistake I did. I'm beside myself and haven't told my nephew what happened. I'm just going to have to give him $$$ towards a new engagement ring without selling that diamond. One thing, i will never forget is how this woman acted at the time (if only I wasn't so trusting).

Please be aware of this scam. My nephews diamond was originally purchased for $9k. I'm sick that this happened. Please don't let your jewelry out of your sight. Deceitful people at this place.

We've gone to Oak Park Jewelers for our wedding jewelry and to fix some necklaces. Bailey has helped us every time. She's youthful, bright, and professional. We trust her, her tastes, and her recommendations explicitly. We went in with pictures of our dresses and she quickly matched us with appropriate necklaces, bracelets, and earrings.

She was sensitive to our budget and eagerly showed us how various pieces could be modified to work best. Each purchase was wrapped in velvet cases that felt rich and elegant. She gave us pearl earrings for free as a token of thanks for buying from Oak Park Jewelers. I was surprised at how quickly our repairs were assessed and estimates quoted. She told us that they would take about a week. An added perk is that any jewelry can be cleaned for free while you wait!
