What a total jerk this guy is. Highly discourage giving this place your business and if you do, be sure to ask what he is going to charge you first. An overpriced asshole (and I like to support local businesses). This was the third time my family has used this guy and never again. Always rude and overpriced (and I live in NYC and used to NY prices). PLEASE don't give him your business. Doesn't even deserve one star rating.

I had to bring my wife's wedding ring in to Bob Cohen's the other day for repairs. One of the diamonds had fallen off and was lost. Bob had a diamond in stock for it and made the repairs. I had the ring back in a day and it looks great. I would highly recommend using Cohen's Jewelry. His prices are reasonable and he knows what he's doing!

I'm not sure who I saw when I went in to this store, but it couldn't have been this person everyone is raving about. I had a diamond ring that was my mom's and I wanted to see what it was worth. He waited on me quickly, which was nice because there was already another in the store, but I guess she was just looking. He looked at the diamond for all of 10 seconds, said it was real but not highly rated, and nothing he could sell and practically threw it back at me.
Now I'm not a fussy person but this was just plain RUDE. I wouldn't go back here if I had a gun to my head. I wish I had gotten his name but it most certainly couldn't have been the owner, after reading the positive things about him. It's nice if one owns a business to at least have some people skills.

Bad Cinderella Story where the glass ring didn't fit. My 90 year old aunt brought her alexandrite high school graduation ring to Cohen's to have a gold prong fixed. The jeweler told her it would be $60 when she said that seemed like a lot of money to fix the ring he offered to buy it for the cost of the repair or if she though that wasn't reasonable he could always go up to $70 for the repair.
She gave it to him for repair and a week later he returned a ring that wasn't hers. She had been wearing the ring the week before and prior to that from the time of her graduation. The ring he returned didn't fit and wasn't the same stone. She had a second jeweler verify that the stone was a piece of glass. She returned to ask what had happened and the Jeweler denied any possible mistaken switcheroo and waved her off.
The local authorities have been contacted and we intend to take any legal measures necessary to make sure this individual is on record for this issue and is hopefully prevented from doing this to anyone again, let alone a Sr. citizen.
