The purpose of my first visit to Watermark Antiques & Gold in scenic West Boylston was to have a premium watch appraised for possible sale. The owner, Mark, was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the current market for such items. He promptly offered a very generous quote without pressure. His relaxed manner with expansive experience makes this hidden jewel worth visiting!

Glad I researched the internet. Being from Leominter there was nothing close by that had the reputation like Watermark Antiques and Gold. Mark was friendly and happy like the perfect person you want to deal with when selling your gold. He was more then fair. And I had things I didn't even know what they were. After looking for a gold bracelet I decided to stumble into Watermark Antiques and even though Mark didn't have the bracelet I wanted I could tell he ran a great business and he was someone I could trust to get me a good deal. So I gave Mark my number and what I was looking for and 3 weeks later he called me the day someone traded in a beautiful bracelet that was right in my price range I couldn't get down there for a few days so he held it for me with no deposit which was a classy move on his part.

In the 3 weeks of looking everywhere for a bracelet Mark never called me once trying to sell me anything that I couldn't afford unlike many of his competitors! I will certainly do business with Mark again he went out of his way to explain to me exactly what I was getting even down to how much I could scrap the bracelet for and he was only a few hundred above scrap value which I was more than willing to pay him because he found me such a beautiful piece of jewelry. Mark will always be my guy to go to when looking for jewelry great quality and a better price!

I had a fairly rare antique Rolex Submariner I had not worn for some time. I decided to sell it and am always VERY suspect of most places that advertise purchasing collectible watches. I went to Watermark with a healthy dose of suspicion about what was going to transpire and expected to walk out with watch still in hand and more than my share of disgust over the typical "low ball" offers and the myriad of negatives about why it wasn't worth.blah blah blah.

I found Mark to be extremely knowledgeable about the watch, careful in it's full inspection, and more than fair in his offer to purchase the watch, in a pleasant, no pressure atmosphere. If you have quality items that you are looking to dispose of, I would definitely recommend you pay a visit to Watermark and allow Mark to evaluate and appraise your items.

I think you will get a more than fair experience, and retain the ability to decide for yourself if his offer is to your satisfaction. I am more than happy with my experience with Mark and I will definitely consult with him regarding my future purchases or sales of high quality time pieces, gold, etc. And, for your information, I am a "picky S.O.B."

This has more reviews than any other shop within 25 miles. Someone else wrote that the owner writes his own great reviews to hide the bad ones written by real people. I don't see any other reason for 12 glowing reviews except an attempt by the owner to cover up the 6 bad ones by people who were taken advantage of. I sold my gold in Worcester after getting a great sales pitch with a terrible offer. Don't waste your time here!

I agree with the Davis's reviews. I made the mistake of going to Watermark too. I have a difficult time driving and couldn't go all over the place. I made the mistake of trusting the owner. My children are disappointed that I didn't have them do this because I got so little for my valuables at Watermark. Why should you need to go to 3 places first and see them last?

My children think it's because they can pressure you then to sell your things or they don't know prices and just want to use other shops to do their pricing for them. Why don't they just give you a fair price to begin with?
