Family-owned and operated, Moritz-Reusch Jewelry, Incorporated, has been a respected member of the St. Louis business community throughout its history. Moritz-Reusch was formally established under its present-day banner in 1982, when John E. Reusch purchased S. Moritz Jewelers from Sidney and Florence Moritz, the last of several family members who had founded and operated the firm for decades.
Valued above all other precious gems, the quality of a diamond is judged on the basis of four characteristics - color, clarity, carat, and cut - commonly referred to as the "four C's." Generally speaking, no one characteristic is more important than another. It is the interplay of all four "C's" that determines each individual stone's unique beauty.
Moritz-Reusch Jewelers offers a selection of beautiful gemstones to suit your taste. Most of our gemstones are loose, to permit optimum viewing and to help you select the perfect setting. Colored gemstones come in a rainbow of shapes, sizes, and colors - your choices are limitless. Simply put, the type and color of gemstone you choose should be the one you love the most - the one that will give you the most pleasure to wear!
Fine jewelry offers you beauty that lasts a lifetime. It represents your personal statement of style. At Moritz-Reusch Jewelers, buying jewelry is fun and exciting, and our goal is to make your experience one that you'll remember. Moritz-Reusch offers only fine, well-made pieces that are durable and retain their beauty over time.

We had the most pleasant experience at Moritz Reusch. David helped us and we could not have asked for anyone more accommodating and personable. He made it such a pleasant experience! My fiance and I were able to find her perfect ring and David made it such an amazing experience for us. We will forever recommend everyone to Moritz Reusch due to their incredible customer service. Our experience was hands down a 10 out 10!

Tl;dr - amazing customer service, if you don't see what you're looking for, just ask. My fiance and I went here in search of an engagement ring. We were immediately comfortable with the business, but didn't find a ring we loved. We ended up getting a ring at a big box store -- and returning it in the first 30 days due to nightmarish customer service.
We went back to Moritz-Reusch and told them what we were looking for. While they did not have exactly what we wanted in store, our jeweler was able to customize an existing piece so that I had exactly what I wanted. This was a bit of a lengthy process, but our jeweler kept us updated the entire time. The icing on the cake: I ended up with a much nicer ring than the one from the big box store, and they were able to stay within our budget!

My wife and I got married in June, and I used Moritz Reusch for all the jewelry needs from the engagement ring to the bands and finally buying a necklace for her wedding gift. I made an appointment beforehand to meet with John, and he made the entire process extremely comfortable. We actually spoke for about two hours so he could just get to know me and my future wife, and he made recommendations based upon the conversation we were having.
I did visit two other jewelers, and even though some of the other rings were cheaper, I went back to John and Moritz Reusch to get the most out of the money I wanted to spend (he never pressured me to extend my budget and all his recommendations were below what I told him I wanted to pay), and the customer service was phenomenal. As mentioned, everything went so well initially that we went back for our bands, and I bought my wife's wedding present from them as well. I will continue going to Moritz Reusch for any jewelry needs I have, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the same.

Superb customer service. They spent a ton of time to help me a find a ring and diamond I would love. The owners son helped and he was an absolute pleasure. I felt no pressure to spend a certain amount of money, and was shown diamonds that were in a range of value. They worked hard to show me diamonds, listening carefully to what I liked and didn't like and adjusting what they showed me based on really listening and getting to know what I was looking for. I couldn't speak higher of my experience. My ring is stunning, and I receive compliments on it all the time. Truly the best customer service I have received.

Moritz Reusch earned another lifelong customer today. Professional, honest, straight forward, cutting edge, and creative; these jewelers treat you right. And the price can not be beat. I'd recommend this company to everyone. Thank you, Dan, for my stunning engagement ring and for transforming my mother's old diamonds into a wearable, breath taking, everyday piece!

Located on the 15th floor of Clayton's tall office building at 1034 Brentwood (same building as Big Skye & COMA). Buzz in required for service. Went in for a watch battery change, nothing major but the customer service still could've been more friendly. I'm sure had I been in the market for million dollar studs it would've been stellar.
Battery change was $10 and took a bit longer anticipated, however the gentleman did return with my watch properly set to date & time. If you're in the area I'd recommend Moritz for sure. The service was painless and efficient. Personally, I doubt I'll be back. Why you ask.the parking, the price and the 15th floor took way more out of me than I like to spare for a watch battery. ~Christy

Some of the best customer service in the St. Louis jewelry scene. I was in the market for an engagement ring and although I didn't end up purchasing my ring here, the saleslady had great advice on the type of ring to get which I ended up using. The only reason I didn't purchase here is because I didn't think they could compete on price with another new big player in St. Louis who is underselling everyone.
Other jewelers are almost too non-pushy and it leads to them not really giving you any advice for fear of coming off in the wrong way but our sales person at least spoke her mind and pointed us in a helpful direction when we asked for advice on type of diamond/setting type. Other jewelers have sales people who just follow you around the displays doing whatever you tell them, but here they actually bring the stuff to you in a private room and go through a routine which I found very useful, at least if you're not sure what to get in terms of style. You do need an appointment here and even though I had one, I still had to wait for almost 20 minutes in the lobby for someone to be free, but I didn't mind that much.

This jeweler is the best! We worked with John on purchasing an engagement ring and wedding band and loved every minute of it. He spent hours with us picking out the perfect ring, and we never felt any pressure at all regarding our purchase. He actually talked us out of a more expensive band we were looking at by showing us a comparable one that was much cheaper.
He thoroughly explained every aspect of the diamond and band we chose, making sure we felt comfortable with our purchase. He also respected the budget we told him we wanted to work with and didn't show us anything that would put us over. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing jewelry, and will be coming here for all of my future purchases.

My fiance and I were looking around for engagement rings and we stumbled on Moritz. We didn't know we needed an appointment but the lady who helped us was incredibly nice and assisted us anyway. MR seems like a pretty upscale place but they weren't judgmental at all about our budget and seemed genuinely happy to help us. We never ended up buying the ring there but MR has the best service in town. Hands down.

I needed to get my watch battery replaced. the seiko website said this place was the place to go. so i headed here, a bit skeptically. this place sounded super fancy the tiny store front is in a tall building (looks more like an office building than anything else) on brentwood across from the galleria mall and i felt very strange walking in. it looked really nice, neat, and expensive and i was a frumpy PJ-wearing mess. i don't even remember if i had brushed my hair that morning! as i walked in, the people greeted me and were super friendly and nice. i handed over my watch and said, i need to get the battery replaced and i don't want to ruin the waterproof-ness it has. the guy told me, that shouldn't be a problem. i asked how much it would be. 5 bucks. 5 BUCKS?! usually a battery by itself costs more than that from walgreens! and the guy at the mall probably will charge me 3x that! i handed the watch over, took a tiny piece of candy from their candy basket (the candy looked european) and waited. not long later, the guy walked back out and handed me my watch. it's all done. he also told me not to go swimming with my watch but it should be fine if it get a little wet. i'm fine with that! i paid and left. this was the most painless and inexpensive watch-related experience i've ever had. WIN! i'll always come back here to get my batteries changed from now on!
