The best local jeweler in Jax! HJ has a beautiful selection for any occasion. If you can't find what you're looking for they do an amazing job with custom pieces. I have had multiple heirlooms created over the last couple of years. Brad was able to take some of my mothers old jewelry and make something completely new, modern that fits with my style. He also helped me add my wedding rings.

Harby jewelers is by far the best jewelry store around. I went in my very first time for my wife's engagement ring and had zero clue about diamonds or rings. I left there knowing everything I needed to purchase a ring from them. Brad made it completely PAINLESS and easy to pick out an engagement ring. When I went back to pick out a wedding band it was within minutes I had picked out another and walked out happy once again. Don't waste your time with other jewelry stores when this is by far the best one ever. Prices are super fair and they also have interest free financing!

We brought my deceased Mother's diamond in to Harby Jewelers of Jacksonville and met with Brad to discuss ring options and settings. Brad was so very patient and kind helping me pick out the perfect setting so that I could wear the ring in remembrance of my beautiful mother. He was able to create the ring and get it to me in record time so that I could have it for Mothers Day. (less than 1 week!).

I bought an engagement ring at Harby Jewelers in November of 2020, and they have my highest recommendation. Admittedly, I have not been a customer of many jewelers, but I can say with total confidence that Harby Jewelers provides a world-class consultative and buying experience. When I mentioned to my family that I was in the market for a ring, my uncle recommended Hugh, citing his fair prices and great selection (he has purchased jewelry from Hugh for more than 30 years). So, I set up an intro appointment to get some more information. Hugh greeted me at the door and spent two hours with me, going into great detail about diamond shapes, sizes, colors, and clarity; answering all of my questions; all while assuring me that we would find something within my price range that would be special.

I never felt pressured to overspend or go outside of my comfort zone. Hugh catered to my every concern, and I could tell he really took joy in the experience. You can go to a jewelry store to pick out a diamond and they'll gladly sell you whatever you want, but good luck getting them to help you find the best value for your dollar like Hugh Harby and his son do. No two identical quality stones are the same and these guys will find you the best one for your dollar. Additionally, if you have an idea of the jewelry you want, they do excellent custom work.

------ Our family has been shopping for jewelry exclusively at Harby Jewelers for twenty years. We were treated like family from the start. The other customers I have met during visits to Harby's have also shopped there for many years. Everyone in our family bought their wedding ring sets from Harby's. It's part of getting married in our family.

You visit Harby's. When you are there, you sit across the desk from either father or son. You are never helped by a stranger. There is no turnover of staff, guaranteeing a relationship with everyone there. You are never rushed and are treated as special. You won't be disappointed. It is an experience like no other.

My path to Harby's was a long one. My soon to be fiance and I were talking marriage and he knew nothing of jewelry. My father was a man of many interests and taught me well. (Yes he even had a loop). I took it upon myself to call every local jeweler in Jacksonville and surrounding areas (Beaches etc) and even called stores in Atlanta as my older brother had done his engagement ring shopping there despite living in Gainesville.

I asked every store for the same specs on loose diamonds from VVS1 to VS2, emerald and Asscher cuts, color F-G. Size range from 0.5 carats to 1.00 carats. Mr Harby was the nicest on the phone. He took his time. He did not seem in the least bit annoyed with my request. My findings? His prices cannot be beat on loose stones. I directed my now husband to his store and 3 years later we are married.

He did a custom engagement ring with designer James Breski (who is known for his colored precious stones) and I have yet to see a better ring! We also purchased my two wedding bands and my husband's wedding band through Harby's. He is most responsive to his emails and most professional as well. In addition to their fabulous engagement rings and competitive prices on loose diamonds, his Master jeweler completely restored my great great grandmother's engagement ring for my mother when every other jeweler said it was impossible. Yes, great great grandmother. Harby's is the best In town and they are the only store I will conduct business with!

I bought my fiance's engagement ring here and could not be happier! The service and overall experience could not have been better.
