I was recently needing to repair a ring for my wife and shopped around the local Asheville jewelers since I didn't have a 'go to' jeweler yet in the area. I have to say that Paula Dawkins Fine Jewelry was hands down the best option I found. The staff was very friendly and professional. The quote I got from them for the ring repair was less than half the best other quote I received and the final charge was nearly half the quote price!

I couldn't believe that I got a repair at less cost than what was quoted! Who does that?! The repair itself was stunning and they went above and beyond to make the ring even better than new. Needless to say they've earned my future business for as long as I'm in this area!

Paula and her entire team are amazing! My fiance and I had a very specific idea in mind for my wedding bands. After shopping around and much dissatisfaction from other jewelers, we found Jewels That Dance. We came in with a simple sketch of what we wanted and Paula along with her team was able to make our dreams come true. I love having a piece of jewelry that is unique. I was relieved that my rings were made in shop and not sent around. Their energy and love for their customers is unmatched. I look forward to working with them again.

Admittedly, neither of us know a thing about expensive jewelry and their staff not only handled this whole experience wholly, but they also educated us on proper ring care, best practices for removing to protect the diamond, and offered free servicing every six months! The staff is so helpful and friendly and their pricing is incredibly fair. I highly recommend Jewels That Dance for resizing as well as for their beautiful products!

My husband took me here for our wedding ring. We found a perfect couple of choices, and I left it up to him. One of them was a combo of three rings I liked, and that's the one he chose! We added a ring of diamonds on both top and bottom to enhance the beauty of the inner natural tree/vine design. This is probably the only diamond ring we will ever buy because we don't support how most diamonds are minded and traded, but a woman gets ONE in her life!

As a clueless guy who was engagement ring shopping, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Fast, friendly, and very flexible. Every other jewelry store I went to seemed annoyed I didn't know what I wanted already. Kristin(sorry if I misspelled the name) was an amazingly helpful and friendly sales rep. I got an engagement ring made here and my fiance loves it! The designer, Paula is amazing and she is pleasure to work with. We are also having our wedding bands made here.

This is a better than average place with better than average prices than the norm for a place that is this nice. Not sure I am explaining that too well but I just did not feel as intimidated as I have at other places that act like they are doing the same thing. I bought something there a couple years ago and the salesperson was able to find my name and address and is going to send me info on some things we were looking at.

No hard pressure. I also appreciate that their stuff seems more like art than other places. Maybe it is the Asheville thing but really like that they have certain artisans that they support and does not feel at all like a chain. I will assuredly be back as it is on the way into downtown from where I am whenever I visit Asheville. I can't afford to buy something every time but I am not feeling pressured so enjoy a quick visit to this place on occasion.

I have been a loyal customer of Jewels That Dance for more than a decade now, and have never been unimpressed with their service. Kristen is SO helpful, cheery, and willing to go out of her way to create a positive experience every single time. This is not your average mall jeweler, so don't expect mall prices; expect to get what you pay for and be happy you did.

I was lucky enough to find Jewels that Dance when I was searching for a jewelry designer to create the engagement ring of my dreams. I am a lover of all things frog and fairytale, and I had designed my own engagement ring to include two frogs guarding an emerald held by leaves. I had a very specific idea in mind being an artist myself, and was searching for that perfect artist able to make it come to life as a ring. Now, I live in Northern Virginia, and I searched far and wide locally for someone who could create my ring.

Finding nobody here, I turned to the Internet to see if I could find anyone in a few states over. And that's when I found Jewels that Dance. I'm sure fate lead me straight to their website to Paula's gorgeous jewelry. Jewelry, that to my wonderful surprise, featured frogs! I almost cried from joy as I immediately emailed her my drawing to see if she could make it come to life.

The process from here on out was absolutely magical. I saw a drawing of my ring first turn into a gorgeous, well thought out 3d render, and then become a completely glorious real life fairytale ring! I admit I was very apprehensive having it mailed it to me, but it was sent in a large box to disguise the fact it was jewelry and well insured! It reached my door safe and sound and my fiance put it on my finger as I just cried. It's the most beautiful thing I have ever seen and I thank you Paula, from the bottom of my heart for making my dreams come true. I hope to meet you and thank you in person one day! Worked closely with Stephanie to design a sapphire engagement ring. Could not have been happier with the experience! She was such a treat to work with. I recommend Stephanie to anyone around town that is looking for a custom or unique jewelry design. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a gift for my fiance, was in downtown Asheville, and walked into Jewels That Dance. I was instantly greeted by an employee who made me feel really comfortable. (I don't have a lot of money and walking into a jewelry store made me feel a little apprehensive). The sales lady, Marlene, showed me items that were in my budget. They had a good selection of items that fit into my budget. Overall, it was a really pleasant experience. I would definitely go back!
