We have much information about how pearls are cultured, the history of pearl jewelry and how to best care for your pearl jewelry.
Since Pearl Oasis only sells pearls, we know the proper way to grade them and we tell you how we do it. Each pearl jewelry item in our catalog is personally graded by our owner, Sunny Chen, who has been trained by the G.I.A. in proper pearl grading and has been grading pearls for more than 10 years.
A word of caution when buying that Famous Brand, "the Famous Brand" markets several lower quality lines through national jewelry chain stores. If you see the word "by", its the lower quality line. Also, "the Famous Brand" never sells at a discount. If the jewelry is being sold at a discount, it's not "the Famous Brand".
The pictures below show various size Akoya and black Tahitian pearls compared to a U.S. dime, a number 2 pencil and a ruler. Because cultured pearls are produced by an oyster, few pearls in a strand are exactly the same size. That's why pearl sizes for a necklace or bracelet are expressed as a range.

I never leave reviews if I don't have anything nice to say, but this is an exception. AND I HOPE I CAN EDIT THIS REVIEW-if management gets things in order. I woke up to my own vehicle not where I parked it, apparently it was Towed. No warning. No notice. I have been living here since Nov 2021 and already seen things not being maintained but overall seems decent for the meantime.
As a resident, there should be a NOTICE at the bare minimum to STATE "Please get your Parking Permit sticker to avoid towing" or something along those lines-does that sound fair enough? I've been friendly and communicative with the staff in the front leasing office and this is their way of handling situations. To give an example of this not being right or fair.one of their Rules states you can't have a non-operational vehicle parked for a certain amount of time.
Clearly since I lived there, there has been 2 vehicles I observed that are not running and just sit there. And that is not addressed? It's okay for someone to keep hitting the gate or not keep things maintained? I'm seeing a pattern of how things are not being ran properly. Let alone, my girlfriend cut her hand because the wood railing on the steps was obviously eaten up by termites at one point and I HAD TO LET THEM KNOW at the front office to fix that for other peoples safety.
To finish my point about the car, I just the the vehicle not very long ago and you'd think they would know you're a resident if someone plugged in your Plate number, hence my point of atleast at the bare minimum give a NOTICE if it's a resident. Great environment. Apartments surrounded by 3 lakes. The pool is wonderful, the tennis area is green, the employees are very polite. very safe. card open enterence. the neighbors are very quiet. Everwhere clean and nice. You can walk just 5 minutes all shopping area Walmart tjmax windixy very close.

My mother has lived there for 7 years and had a good experience the first few years. However it has been going down hill ever since. The pool has been closed since March 2020 and here it is May of 2021, and it's still CLOSED. With no plans to open anytime soon. I can't imagine if I had small children and couldn't take them for a pool day. Also, her rent has never been adjusted to reflect the lack of amenities.
The gate is constantly broken and the cars are being damaged because of the lack of security. I would not recommend Oasis at Pearl Lake. They definitely need a new management team.

It really pains me to share my experience with Oasis at Pearl Lake Condominiums and the property manager Rent Prosper LLC but I am warning you that this property management company is by far the worst. I was first threatened and pressured to pay my security deposit within 48 hours of signing the lease, of which I did back in July 2020. In September 2020, my lease was wrongfully terminated. Odalis with rent prosper had someone to post a lease termination on my door.
I immediately called the cops and the cops informed me that the lease termination paper was invalid because no one from Rent Prosper had filed for eviction the legal and proper way. I was then told by Oasis at Pearl Lake Condominiums and the property manager Rent Prosper LLC that I had 7 days to evacuate the premises, and on the eight day, Rent Propser LLC wanted to try to "work it out" with me.
When Rent Prosper placed the lease termination on my door, I had a panic attack. I suffered from anxiety and I was caused distress with having to relocate within 7 days, sleep in my car, and also be out of all monies, security deposits, and all money that I paid on time monthly since I had signed my lease. I was NEVER late for my payments. Rent Propser LLC accused me of purposely causing water damage to the unit below, and terminated my lease because of it.
This company is horrible, and they are lead by money, not ethics or integrity. Please think twice before renting a property here because you can lose your entire existence in the blink of an eye. They gave me 7 days. I could not get any furniture out within the time period they gave me. I was in the hospital due to Covid 19 and they terminated my lease in the middle of a global pandemic.
I pray to God they reap all that they sown into my life. I walked away with nothing, absolutely nothing. My TVS, my bedroom suit, my living room soon, all gone as a lockbox was placed on my door and I became homeless. You people may not ever have to answer to me, but you will always have to answer to God.

I am a renter. I have lived here for a year. This is a wonderful place to live. Liz and Michael in the management office are great about everything. Forest City Elementary is the school my daughter has been attending while living here and it's a great school. Lots of kids here in Oasis and the kids are respectful and nice. Most of the families here are good people and good neighbors. I, unfortunately have had to live next to a drunk lady named Wanda but even she has caused little problems for me other than her being disorderly at times and having the cops called on her.
My boyfriend has had his car towed from here for not parking in a visitor spot. So make sure all of your visitors park in the designated spots! My car has also been towed for not having my updated registration sticker on it. It's a huge inconvenience when this happens but I hope others are more careful than we were. I will truly miss calling this place home.
I read over some of the other reviews and I can say that I did not have roaches or other pest issues. The complex is kept clean and there is security here. Sometimes the gates are broken but they are fixed the same day if not the day after.

We used to live years ago at Oasis great place to lived, our tenant was great. Came back after few years and the service Is poor, every week there is no water for almost half of day. Plus the cleanliness is very poor always looks dirty seems the association don't care anymore. My car and few others car windows were broken and seems like there is security but don't know where they are. This place went to be a family apartment to be some low quality place.

I write all this so that it does not happen to anyone else 1.- Error in the number of the apartment in the contract 238 instead of the 10-201 208, 2 days without electricity in the apartment for this reason, we stayed 2 days in a hotel and expenses of deposit of furniture and wax. 2.- After 8 days of moving to my wife, I became ill with tonsillitis and very high fever, this lasted 10 days, which resulted in medical expenses and medicines.
My son also very sick and my person. We did not know the causes until spring came. 3.- The dryer did not have a motor. the day 08/12/2016 solved. 4.- the functionality of the refrigerator without the electrical extension or cable that runs through the room and the kitchen, this in order to avoid any inconvenience or accident with the cable or perform a bad force to move the refrigerator (also leave the cable in case it's a current issue). 5.- the light in the kitchen has something damaged because at one moment it lights up and at another it does not. 6.- the external bathroom has the incomplete shower key, it does not have the water temperature regulator, so I think you have to make the change, please for him to validate the information. 7.- The air conditioning regulator's battery indicates that it is running low. 8.- 12/18/2016 the black water was blocked. 9- air conditioning damage 01/15/2017, report of mold, which they said you have to change the entire pipeline and I do not think that you do so they signed a contract where we exonerate ourselves from the mold and diseases caused by it. 10- repeat the adhgldalitis of my wife being pregnant, letter from the doctor for eviction of the same as soon as possible, to see the discomfort of it. he talked with the realtor to deliver before and collect from the deposit the last month 11- bad telephone deal, by Arcelay the new administor who never informed us of this change. Mi hijo tambien enfermo muy leve y mi persona. no sabiamos las causas hasta que llego la primavera. 3.- La secadora no tenia motor. el dia 08/12/2016 solucionaron. 4.- la funcionalidad de la nevera sin la extencion electrica o cable que atraviesa la sala y la la cocina, esto con el proposito de evitar cualquier inconveniente o accidente con el cable o realizar una mala fuerza para mover la nevera (igualmente que deje el cable por si es un tema de corriente). 5.- la luz de la cocina tiene algo danado porque en determinado momento enciende y en otro no lo hace. 6.- el bano externo tiene la llave de la ducha incompleta, no tiene el regulador de temperatura del agua, por lo que considero hay que realizar el cambio, por favor para que el valide la informacion. 7.- la pila del regulador del aire acondicionado indica que se esta agotando. 8.- 12/18/2016 se taparon las aguas negras. 9- dano del aire acondicionado 01/15/2017, reporte del moho, lo cual dijeron hay que cambiar todo el ducto y eso no creo que lo hagan ustedes firmaron un contrato donde nos exoneramos de el moho y las enfermedades a causa del mismo. 10- repite la admigdalitis de mi esposa estando embarazada, carta del medico para desalojo del mismo lo mas pronto posible, al ver el malestar del mismo. se converso con la realtor para entregar antes y cobrar del deposito el ultimo mes 11- mal trato telefonico, por Arcelay la nueva administradoea la cual nunca nos informaron dicho cambio y no estaba al tanto de todos los problemas que tenia el apartamento y nunca visito, Sra Luna la administradora inicial nunca mas aparecio. 12.- pretenden cobrarnos, 1220,00 por conceptos de ultimo mes. esto sin contar que las ventanas y las alfondras estaban llenas de moho

Bought my condo last November and I am very happy! Great area to live in. Walking distance from shopping area. The staff here at Oasis Miss Dee and Mike are great and very friendly as well as the maintenance workers. Grounds are very well kept. Beautiful scenery especially from my place :D Pool area is beautiful very nice and clean as well as the gym. Renovations taking place which is a plus. A pretty great place to live.

For the person that has been here for 4 weeks, GOOD LUCK! You will need it. Yes the grounds look nice but they have to otherwise no one would rent here. The HOA is now bankrupt and no longer exists, there are a ton of foreclosures in the complex and they are no longer condos they are now apartments. The quality of the tenants have gone downhill quickly and the crime rate shows it.
Pull up any crime map of the area and you will see how bad it is. Just look at some of the comments here, those are your neighbors. They affect your property value or lack thereof. The gate was broken and left open again for the week. This has happened for the past 6 months. The pool is nice but small and when tenants bring 15 "guests" then the actual paying tenants get no use from it. You have been warned to stay away.
