Not one to leave a lot of reviews, but I wanted to give a big thank you to all the ladies in the store here who helped me 6.29! Came in after a long work trip to get myself a little present and they were so great to let me have fun and try on any piece that caught my attention. Walked out with a beautiful dainty pair of gold pot leaf earrings. You have a new totally loyal customer for life. Cheers!

This place is not a great place to buy jewelry. They have products from artists all over the country, which is great! The selection of artists is awesome! The problem is that if you want a piece that they don't have in stock (which I presume is most of the time), they will order it from the artist that made it (which is usually out of state). They will give you an estimate of when it comes in, and they are very professional about all that. Excellent.

In fact, my wife and I both ordered our wedding rings from here. There was a gorgeous pair of gold rigs with a river pattern on them. I could bore you with the details, but suffice to say they we were crazy about them. Anyway, they order them out, weeks go by, they come in. Mine first, hers a few weeks later. Mine is perfect. It's amazing. Hers? It's wrong.

It's not at all like the ring we tried on and nothing like it looks on their website. I'll try to find photos, but believe me, it's wrong and it looks bad. The color is wrong and there is an obvious problem with the shape. We talk to them about it, show them what happened. They agree there's a problem. Ship it back, etc. it comes back: ITS STILL WRONG.

Believe me, we're not crazy. It's obvious. Go around and with them but ultimately they were like "Sorry, you're outta luck" We spent $250 to have another jeweler look at the photos of the way the ring was supposed to look and fix it.

Love this place! It has been a staple in Portland for any jewelry needs. I especially love this store for their artistic unique selections.

Well let's be honest. This place now a great place. I have something happened before but the owner take it seriously and fixed it. I appreciate that all the stuff are helping and friendly. They have a inspection and creative jewels. I love this place, and I would recommend to visit. Thank you TWIST stuff

For Dezso website. Buyer beware - I bought my wife a pair of 18k gold and poika diamond earrings made by Dezsosara from Twist, when the stone fractured after routine use and we inquired about repair/replacement the policy was that we would have essentially been buying a new earring ourselves and this was after shipping the earrings back to the store and waiting 12 weeks for an update from the jeweler.

Neither Dezso or Twist seemed surprised the stone broke and did not help to replace the broken stone. We did not receive an email back from the jeweler after we inquired about this directly.

I worked with Amy to find an unique wedding band for myself. She was super helpful and didn't pressure into any decisions. Would be happy to work with her again!

Tons of beautiful jewelry and some unique ceramics (as advertised, I suppose). There are of different small, independent studios represented here. Customer service was also excellent! Will certainly come back here.

High-end jewelry with an Artisan feel. A bit overpriced, even accounting for the inflated price of Gold (which current market value is above platinum). A nice lady greeted me and was welcoming and personable. After looking around I informed her that I I had applied for the job posting on saw on indeed and sent a resume with an extensive cover letter and would like to speak with the hiring manager.

She went back to get hiring manager only to return shortly and say " she said the position has been filled and check back around the holidays".I've owned a business and been the Operations manager for a company. New hires don't always work out. If someone comes all the way to the shop in person especially after applying on indeed with a cover letter, You should at least greet them. The one saving grace was the nice lady Teresa that worked there. Other than that a sour taste was left in my mouth and I probably won't be returning.

There is something for everyone here, amazing unique jewels, art, pottery, furniture, jewelry boxes. There are awesome designers and everything is beautifully displayed in handmade cases. The showroom is well spaced with enough places to also feel private. My wife picked out a charm and clip for her vintage paper clip necklace.

I just walked out of this place without my purchase. I wanted to buy a bracelet. It didn't have a price but the sales lady said it was $40.00 not once but 3 times. I went outside to get cash from my husband and come in to pay and she changed the price! DUMBO

One of my favourite all time jewelry shops ever! Bought my engagement ring with them. Before my decision, visite the store about four times, and was advised with a lot of attention and concern. Wonderful choice of items, lovely shop, great location, reasonable prices.

I cannot day enough good things about this place. We were visiting Portland and found this place on Yelp. Locally, we were unable to find any engagement rings that fit my style. As soon as we walked in we knew it was the place. Amy, the manager, assisted us with picking out my ring. She was so friendly and helpful. She knew when to give advice and I appreciated her help so much. I have the most gorgeous ring thanks to her! Would 100% recommend if you're looking for anything that is not exactly what everyone else has.

Recently bought my wedding ring here while visiting from Denver. The sales women were friendly/helpful without hovering or making me feel pressured or awkward, like a lot of fine jewelry store clerks tend to do. So that was noted and appreciated. Pricey, but it's a fine jewelry store so that's to be expected. They were able to transfer some of their rings from the Seattle store in order for me to be able to try them on.

I contacted them a few days beforehand so they could plan. That was really nice, because I wouldn't feel comfortable buying expensive jewelry sight unseen, especially when trying to match it to other rings. The selection is cool, especially if you like unique brands/jewelry designers. Love my Anna Sheffield ring (the curved band)

I couldn't of had a more pleasant experience purchasing an engagement ring. I would recommend Twist as a first stop when ring shopping to anyone asking. Aside from the diverse ring selection, and knowledgeable staff, the extended support throughout the process was the icing on the cake. It was clearly evident from the second I walked in the door that the staff was dedicated not to sell me something, but to help me find the right ring. Th A+ experience. Went into Twist to check out the boutique for the first time. We made no purchases so I can not comment on that part of their business. We were immediately acknowledged by a friendly sales associate who was happy to show us pieces. I found their jewelry selections of designers to be quite interesting and eclectic. They have a beautifully curated selection of house and gift items.

I love this store! I have purchased a number of pieces here over the years and am always impressed with their customer service and the selection. I live out of state, but visit family and friends in Portland as much as I can. Every time I come to Portland, I come here. I've worked with Aleathea for a number of years and she's always extremely helpful when I come in, even when I can't find something I love.

She is also very good about trying to get pieces I like from artists and letting me know when new items that I might like arrive. The shop is well designed, light and airy, with plenty of seating and fun cards to go with any gifts purchased. I always try to find jewelry when I travel, so I am always on the look out for a good jewelry store and I have yet to find one with as much selection, quality, and excellent customer service as Twist.

Wonderfully helpful staff and beautiful unique, unconventional, artistic jewels! I didn't find exactly what I want here because I'm super picky but was helped by Sarah (and a couple other nice people), a wonderful, kind, super helpful person! I felt like she had my best interests at heart and was trying to help me find a thing I really wanted and loved rather than trying to push a sale that wasn't quite right. I would definitely recommend this store and will keep watching the inventory for other beautiful things.

I live in Los Angeles and searched endlessly for the right engagement ring. My wife and I loved Cathy Waterman's work and so I started to search online and found that Twist had an incredible selection of her jewelry. I was nervous about spending so much on a ring I could not see in person but Akira helped me every step of the way to feel comfortable about the purchase of the ring.

Everything went smoothly and stress free and we both loved the ring. A few years later, the ring was damaged in a car accident and so I contacted Twist about the repair and rebuild and again, the customer service was stellar. Akira was there every step of the way to get the ring repaired and back to us safely. I honestly, can not recommend this place enough for attention to the customers needs and friendly service.

We loved Amy and Twist! We came in to look for an engagement ring and had a great experience. We did not feel any pressure to buy. Amy was only looking for us to be happy. The biggest and best part for me is how they handled issues as they arose. We love the ring we bought but there were a few small issues. We totally understand that these are handmade rings and there will be some imperfections.

But when we brought the ring back in to show Amy, she was super nice and professional about it and sent it back to the jeweler to be repaired at no cost to us. Even though we had worn the ring for a few weeks. They stand by their products and made what could have been a very crappy situation, easy and pleasant. This is a top notch place in my book and definitely recommend shopping here. Thanks Amy!

Intrigued by the piece metal duck sculpture outside, We had to step in to see what the shop was about: The real life etsy shop meets the high end world market. Absolutely beautiful store and although I didn't purchase anything, the service was still impeccable! If ever I'm in the market for nice piece of jewelry, I'm definitely gonna resort to checking out the artist that they carry.

I discovered Twist online while searching for a jeweler whose work I have followed for years. Today, my Cathy Waterman ring arrived via UPS and it's stunning. The result AND the process have been exceptional. Laura Ma handled all the back-and-forth details via text and phone, and through her communication, my custom-made ring turned out exactly as I'd hoped (and even prettier!). Initially, I was apprehensive about choosing a wedding ring without being able to go into a store and try on a variety.

But Twist over-nighted me 3 rings to look at, which helped me hone in on what I wanted. I was even given 10 days to think about them, so I did not feel rushed at all. Laura was a delight--her enthusiastic and sweet personality made this whole process so great. Can't wait to get to Oregon at some point and see their actual store.

Best place to buy jewelry for yourself, friends, or a special someone in Portland. This place is like Etsy in real life.but 100x better! You will pay a pretty penny for their pieces, but everything is top notch and unique. In addition, they have excellent customer service. The Assistant Manager, Amy, made my husband and I feel well taken care of and comfortable when looking for a new engagement ring. Twist will definitely be our go to for all future jewelry purchases!

Sarah S. helped my fiance & I pick out my gorgeous, custom Mandrel engagement ring & wedding band. She was extremely helpful & responsive throughout the process, which took place over a few months, including when my band had to be remade in a different width. Everyone else I've encountered at Twist has also been very personable & gone out of their way to make sure my experience was perfect. Twist is classy! Great customer service & a beautiful selection - I'll definitely be back.

Love this place! Amy has been amazing to work with. we found my dream wedding ring. She was so helpful and. her support has been above and beyond on several occasions. We has some minor issues with the setting and recreating and every time she was a joy to work with. It made me feel so save and supported! I wish i was needing an engagement ring every month so i could buy a new one! The ring options here are serious art creations of beauty. Thanks again Amy, you were so great to work with!

What a beautiful store. So much art, jewelry, housewares, and really lovely service. I didn't buy anything but really enjoyed browsing and admiring and didn't feel pressured at all.

Never have I encountered a store like this one where I love every single item I lay my eyes on. You can tell each collection of items from jewelry to sculpture are handpicked. Each piece is a beautiful work of art. I had ordered from their online website a few times over the last 10 years or so, but visiting the shop in person surpassed all my expectations.

I want to give a shout out to Megan, who helped my husband pick out and purchase a gift for me on the sly while I was looking around - I had no idea a transaction happened! Megan was wonderful too in showing me various jewelry in the store' and I marveled at her knowledge of the artists and the individual facts of each piece. She even had me try on some very pricey items just for fun.in her words, "It's always fun to play dress up!" I feel lucky to have been able to visit and also come away with a beautiful bracelet. I definitely will continue to be a devotee and loyal customer!

As long as you accept that for most people this is more art-gallery than jewelry store, then you won't be disappointed. The four stars then is to give credit to how fun and unique this store is. Its a great place to browse and find interesting and covet-able art and jewelry. And if you have heaps of money to shop, then Twist will probably be even more fun and but worth five stars. A visit to Twist satisfies a need for unique, eclectic pieces that have that extra special "twist."
