Dana is the man! I came to this location with my sister yesterday to get our ears pierced and I got my nose pierced as well. I've had many piercings in the past which have all been great except for the last one I had. The experience was traumatizing to say the least. Dana welcomed my sister and I with a warm heart. He was very thorough and treated us with the upmost respect.

I told him about my last experience, he listened and then took great care of us. I was so happy with the whole process. Dana is professional, caring, and funny (which helps alleviate any stresses or nerves). I highly recommend him, and feel extremely grateful we were taken care of by him. Our piercings turned out great, thank you!

I can't tell you how impressed I am with this shop. Their COVID procedures are on point, the jewelry selection is a beautiful combination of metals and styles. The staff was so sweet and the piercer was knowledgeable, kind and patient.

I've been going to adorn for years and it has never been a bad experience! I have gotten several tattoos and piercings and it's always extremely clean and professional. Plus they use amazing quality materials and are very organized

I got a handful of piercings by Cherish. The whole experience was great! Cherish is like an awesome pediatrician administering vaccinations. Cherish will instruct you how to breathe to relax, tell you how good you are doing, and bandage you up as needed with some super cute bandaids. The front staff are excellent as well. They helped me pick out pieces based on my inspiration pics and anatomy.

They were very quick to tell me the total cost for the multiple pieces I picked and the service. The prices at Adorn are very reasonable. I got a mix of expensive and basic jewelry and I honestly spent only half of my expected budget.

Honestly. hard to say if this was a great experience because I did get what I wanted, sort of, but I feel like they could have spent just 1 more minute to try a few things out first. If you want basic jewelry there's almost no options here. They don't ask about gauge size that you want and they didn't listen when I said I wanted as small as possible.

In fact interrupted me to say "yeah, as snug as possible. Like everyone else." Well if they understood I don't know why they went with such a large hoop. This also isn't my first rodeo, my nipples were pierced with a smaller gauge and they told me any smaller than a 16g isn't ideal for a lip piercing. What does ideal mean? What if I want a temporary look?

Ideal to who? So they didn't downsize me at all, just gave me a hoop. Which I basically had to convince them to do because they said it needed to be healed for longer (although my piercing is healed and it has been an appropriate time based on what my OG piercer told me). Basically, they did give me a hoop even tho they said it was too soon, but then when it was done I said "wow that's not very snug" and he said "yeah it is it's touching your lip any smaller and it would dig into your lip" Yeah.

I want that. I wish they would have gotten out a few sizes for me to choose from or have them hold them up to see what would have been preferred. In the end it was like, yeah I know I am not the professional, but it is my body. So if you want to do whatever someone else wants you to do blindly, go here. But I didn't feel that respected by the attendant and definitely feel like they just shoved it in just to send me back out or fill their daily quota.

They were the ones who even said downsizing is important and then still left me at the same gauge I was before. Edit: in the reply, adorn says it's like trying to wear a size 5 shoe when you're actually size 7. I would argue it's more like getting sized for a size 7 when you actually fit a size 5. The amount of space I have between the jewlery and my lip can fit a cigarette. Sometimes better just to say "we were wrong in this scenario" than try to continue to make a point

Got my nostril pierced today by Alex, and it couldn't have been a better experience. He was so, so kind, gentle, and knowledgeable, and moreover the piercing turned out beautifully. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful from start to finish- cant recommended enough.

Just finishing up 2nd sleeve in 6 months. Jacie Lee was my artists and has been amazing every step of the way. She helped realize my ideas for the sleeves which I was a pain with but she showed great skill and patience with me through the hole process. Adorn staff and shop where amazing super clean and always friendly. My wife also has had multiple tattoos done with Jacie and Adorn and her experiences where amazing as well. 6 stars from me I highly recommend!

I love this small business! They're so kind, patient, and understanding. They make sure everything that happens is safe and that you are informed. They can get kind of expensive, but it's definitely worth the price! Also the jewelry is the best you can get, ESPECIALLY if you have allergies. Service: Piercings

I had gone in for a bellybutton piercing about 7 months ago. They had told me to come in about 6-9 months for new jewelry and whatnot. I asked if an appointment was needed and they said no, due to just getting jewels and my anatomy had already been looked at by them. Well comes today (about 7 months later, when i feel it is healed for new jewelry) I drove 45 minutes to the shop. wait for them to greet me and I proceeded to tell them I did not have an appointment, since they had previously told me it wasn't needed. and due to covid-19 i am very understanding that's an appointment is needed.

There was not a problem occurring until, Alex kept walking closer and closer to me, trying to get me to leave. And proceeds to tell me how expensive the jewelry here is and how I need an appointment. I was understanding. But what really made me upset and disappointed was the fact he kept repeating how expensive the jewelry is. I understand it is expensive and I still chose to go to Adorn. This was just overall disappointing due to Alex being disrespectful, and pushing me to leave while I was apologizing for not having an appointment.

The nicest people! The staff at Adorn patiently made sure I ended up with a nose ring and earrings that I really liked, and the process was super fun.

The space was beautiful and the staff was very knowledgeable. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the cost of the jewelry was such a sticker shock. From the website, I knew the septum piercing would be $99 but the jewelry section on the site said the pieces ranged in price from $10-$1000 which is such a huge range. I ended up paying $250 for a septum piece of jewelry and it was on the lower end. More transparency in that regard would have been much appreciated.

Super friendly and professional. Took my 10 year old in to get her ears pierced for the first time and they were absolutely wonderful to her. They were extremely safe and kind. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

My 14 year old daughter really wanted her nose pierced for her birthday. I found Adorn east online and was impressed by their website and safety/infection control precautions and practices. Scheduling online is easy. We got several appt reminders prior to our appt and were welcomed warmly on arrival. After choosing her jewelry we were invited into a private room with Seth, who thoroughly explained the procedure and expectations for pain, cleaning and returning in 6 weeks for a shorter post piece of jewelry. Seth was quick, efficient and very communicative as he performed the piercing. He was very kind throughout and clearly cared about the work he was doing. We will be back for more!

I made an appointment because my nose ring (stud) fell out and I couldn't get it back in, I feared my piercing had closed up! I came in with my service dog and they were incredibly respectful towards me and my dog. They were able to put a seamless ring in my piercing and I couldn't be happier! My piercer's name was Britt and they we supper welcoming and comforting, explaining the entire time what was happening. All the covid and health procedures we also very comforting, the entire process was very smooth and enjoyable! I'll definitely be back, I highly recommend:)

I got my daith pierced yesterday, I love how it looks. Adorn has a great selection of quality jewelry. Brit was awesome, she explained everything and told me what she was doing as she did it.

Came to Portland determined to get two piercings as a birthday present to myself. I booked my appointment ahead of time. Their website appt process was easy. Online waiver forms were a breeze. Seth was such a great spirit and so kind. He was attentive explaining everything he was going to do before doing the piercing. He gets five super stars! I did notice inconsistent pricing from their website, waiver forms, and what's posted at the register.

I was prepared to pay more than I did, but if I knew the price I would've done another piercing or upgraded my jewelry. Also wish there was more transparency on my receipt with a breakdown of each piercing and the jewelry cost. It just has one line item "misc" that had one price. I'd definitely come here again when I'm in Portland because I had the best experience.

Went in to get a piercing after booking online. I didn't see that i needed to bring my vaccine card but the information was online if you read up the fine print so i guess that's fine. The reason I'm giving it 1 star is the crazy surprise that the basic jewelry to get a piercing is $40 when the price online says $50 for the piercing. She said it's in addition to and says online but it doesn't say any of that when you book.

So i went in thinking I would pay $50 plus a tip just to find it was $90+. I let her know she should make it clear that the basic jewelry starts at $40 so people aren't surprised and then she starts trying to sell me on the fact that it's the "best" available even though every shop carries titanium. When i let her know that it's definitely not that cost anywhere else I've been she proceeds to say that she understands if you're new to it that there may be a sticker shock like i didn't just tell her I've been to multiple places and i have 5 piercings in my ears and have other non facial piercings.

I'm definitely not new to piercing prices. The fact I even considered it cause i was already there is why I'm so mad. It's obviously a ruse to lure people in with the guise of low prices at a quality place just to double it when you get there. Not ok, I'm definitely going to Chaotic good who is more expensive but COMES WITH the basic jewelry and has everything clearly stated online which is what a real professional should do.

Very professional, very cool atmosphere! I would definitely recommend, and will come back for any future piercings for sure! Staff was friendly, and it was very clean. Beautiful jewelry too!

Luke is great! Got my ear pierced by him and it was so quick and easy. Didn't hurt at all after just an hour. So professional. Photos taken just after the piercing.

I don't usually write reviews, but my experience at Adorn Uptown deserves one! My daughter and I were able to make a last minute appointment with Luke for ear piercings. The online booking was very easy and when we arrived, there were COVID precautions established including personal check in, screening, and hand sanitizing, and the overall cleanliness was above and beyond.

We were able to discuss possible outcomes for my piercing and I felt very informed and supported with my daith piercing. My daughter was a bit nervous and Luke was more than professional and patient with her. He explained everything he was doing before he did it and both her lobe piercings and my daith piercing were painless and most important fun! I highly recommend Adorn and am looking forward to returning in the future!

I recently received a piercing from Luke at the Vancouver location. I intentionally waited a few days to ensure I was as pleased with the experience as I suspected I was. Turns out, I am MORE SO! I initially went in hoping for an industrial, but suspected I did not have the correct anatomy to support it properly. Turns out that was indeed the case.

I then asked Luke if there were anything similar I did have the anatomy for. He explained, that a straight bar wouldn't work, but if I were willing to allow him to customize a piece for me, he could bend the bar, and I could fully rock a unique, one of a kind, industrial. HELL YES!?!?!? * Talk to your piercer folks! There's so much variety they can do, that we would never even think of! Luke was incredible.

He thoroughly explained every thing he was doing. He was profesional, thoughtful and kind. He treated me like a friend, rather than just 1 of 100 customers he sees everyday. The folks at the front counter were profesional, friendly and hospitable. My overall experience was beyond pleasant. It truly felt like hanging out with and being taken care of by friends Oh, and the entire place is IMACUALATELY CLEAN!

It's like a sterile art gallery in there, rather than a typical dingy tattoo shop. 4 days in and my piercing is doing better than I could have hoped for. I am through the moon thrilled. I will be returning for more!

Here to say that Seth is an amazing piercer and an all around wonderful person! An absolute joy to be around and work with, they've always made me feel good and taken care of in the shop. I've had two piercings and a series of gauge stretchings done at Adorn on Hawthorne now and every experience I have had has been spectacular. The shop is immaculate, their practices are thorough, and their care is top notch.

While this place is reputable and the piercers seem great, there is either a problem with management or the employees. While bringing my friend to get a piercing, I asked to view jewelry but was told I couldn't because if the COVID 1 person policy. Totally understandable. However, as I'm sitting outside (since I can't go in) a woman walks up and ask what the deal is.

She wanted to look at jewelry. I told her what I experienced and she waited. To my surprise, she was greeted and taken into the shop. She mentioned she did not have an appointment. If they are too short staffed to have someone help with jewelry they should reduce the appointments they have for piercings. But it gives the feeling that they want to treat customers like cattle.

Get them in, get them pierced, collect the money, and send them on their way. There's nothing wrong with that, but being unwilling to help with other things is frankly disappointing, given what high respect I had for the shop. Had. Update: my friend had a great experience with their piercer who was helpful and very nice. However the same individual(not the piercer) who told me I couldn't enter, grossly overcharged my friend without letting them know ahead of time that it would be more than 3x the $40+jewelry they expected.

The total cost was over $150. Seeing the receipt, they charged $90 for a horshoe and balls. They never provided pricing or that info ahead of time. My friend was shown a QR code that didn't work, then was told they would be texted the pricing but only received the release documents.

I got Cosmetic Tattooing done by Renee and it was incredible! She is such a professional and so incredibly talented. She was very detail oriented and made sure the brows were perfect to her professional eye and that I loved them. Renee answered all my questions and went above and beyond. If you need Cosmetic tattooing I 100% recommend you go to this angel of a human being.

I've had three piercings done at Adorn over the past few years, and all the staff is always so friendly and informative! Today I had my nose pierced by Luke, who made me feel so comfortable. He's funny and SUPER FAST! When you are pierced at Adorn, you know you're getting properly pierced with the highest quality jewelry, and you leave knowing how to care for your piercings so they heal properly. It's the only place I trust in Vancouver!

First time here. Took my daughter. Folks here have an attitude problem. Not recommended. And surprised with cultural appropriation shown in images used at this store. Goddess Laxmi is Hindu Godess of wealth and prosperity. Show respect. Try this with Islamic or Christian religions. How about a picture of Virgin Mary here instead.

I have gone to adorn on Southeast Hawthorne a few times and was much more impressed with the staff at adorn uptown and well continue going there from now on. They overprice their jewelry and are extremely predatory In their ways of trying to sell it to you. Just to get a piercing shortened it's 25$ plus tip and often you need to get a piercing shorted twice which ends up adding around 60 additional $. They always present you with gold options first and practically hide the titanium jewelry in the back- it's a weird manipulation tactic and feels incredibly disingenuous. There's absolutely no reason a shortening of piercing bar length should cost more than 10$

I've gone to adorn for two piercings now (septum and bridge) and have had a great experience both times! Ben was hilarious and Luke was super chill. will definitely continue to get my piercings done here!

Adorn is incredible! From the friendliness to the cleanliness it's a 10 star stop. The shop is professional, clean, and organized. What an awesome environment to walk into. Alex was so kind and helpful. No judgement or pressure. I really appreciate their warmth. Also, tons of jewelry options which was sweet. My nostril piercing with Billy was freaking great.

Such an entertaining guy to hang with and, bonus feature, he also knows what he's doing! Painless and fun experience. Thanks to both of you for lighting up my day. Very cool. See ya soon

Highly recommend this place for piercings! Lots of unique options to pick from and a mellow environment. Been almost 2 weeks and still love my nostril piercing! Very happy with the result and the entire process. No one rushed me when I took my time picking the jewelry. Luke was my piercer and made the entire piercing process seem super quick and pretty much painless with a few jokes to add. Definitely give this place a shot!

My experience here was fantastic. I was visiting from out of town and decided I wanted to get my septum pierced and this seemed like the place with the best reviews. Billy handled my piercing and he was so great at walking me through each step, making sure he felt around for the right spot, and making it as quick and relatively painless as possible. He also gave me recommendations for piercers where I live to follow up with. Really great job, easily the best piercing experience I've had.

I saw Cherish for a helix piercing and a jewelry change. They were amazing and made me feel really comfortable in the shop. The jewelry selection was also great-they had several cases full of options! I definitely recommend adorn and I know I'll be back for future piercings.

I don't think I even have enough words to describe how much I love Adorn East. I've been to this location a few times and each time I leave with a smile on my face, beautiful jewelry and the feeling of being seen and heard. Everything from the moment I walked in was warm, friendly and welcoming. I was greeted by Alex at the front door as he took the COVID precautions of hand sanitizing and temperature gauging.

From there he showed me MANY different jewelry options. He even let me know that they are able to do custom designs with their jewelry partner (which is awesome for indecisive people like me) Lia was the one who changed out my jewelry and she is AMAZING. She was upfront and honest and filled with so much information. She really took her time to make me feel comfortable and gave me the option at looking at different sizes in my ear. I would highly recommend her! Thank you so much Adorn! Can't wait to again :)

I got my nipples pierced by Seth and it was such a great experience! He was incredibly kind and professional, and great at communication. He talked me through every step of the way, including letting me know when he was going to touch me. It was refreshing to have such a professional, relaxing experience and not feel uncomfortable or uneasy. My piercings look/feel great and I could not be happier. Everyone at the shop was taking Covid precautions and the piercing process was sterile and quick.

Came in today and incredibly blown away by the customer service! They also had a very large nice selection of jewelry and accessories. Everyone was super professional and kind and informative. I will totally back for more! Thanks again!

Such a great establishment, cannot recommend it enough. Luke did my piercings and he was the best piercer I've ever had. Super professional and nice guy. The whole process was quick, educational, and clean! I didn't feel like they were trying to upsell or anything, which I've experienced in the past. The shop itself is very nice. They played DOPE music which got me excited for my piercings! I also loved their jewelry selection- some of the best choices I've had to choose from, and all high quality.

Loved how the process was a breeze. I reached and was immediately greeted by someone, my temperature was taken and sanitizer was sprayed on my hands prior to entering. I was greeted by Seth while I was filling up the intake form, he was friendly and very professional. The jewellery collection is amazing and you have all the shapes and sizes you can choose from.

I almost had too many choices! Seth came to take me for the piercing and guided me through the process and aftercare. He talked me through my nose piercing and it was amazing how smooth, sanitary and satisfying the whole process was. Will definitely be my favourite place for more piercings in the future! Brit did my helix piercing today and even though I chickened out on a tragus piercing, they were so nice & easy to talk to that i'd love to go back again! everyone was SO welcoming and sweet. I usually have a hard time going into piercing shops but going alone this time a was honestly so fun! they all have great personalities and just want to make sure you're feeling safe and welcomed. they also used "they" for pronouns if that makes anyone who identifies as so more inclined to choose adorn. 100% recommend!

I have not had new piercing in forever but I purchased some jewelry from Adorn last summer so I thought I'd check them out, which turns out was a great decision! I know it's somewhat scary going into any enclosed place during this pandemic but Adorn made me feel very comfortable. They had all of their COVID-19 regulations up on their website, along with procedures, and updates they have put into keeping themselves and their clients safe!

You can register for an appointment on their website (no walk-ins for the foreseeable future) and choose a date/time that works best for you. Seth was my piercer and I couldn't recommend him more! He was so kind and talked me through the different sizes and shapes of jewelry that I would probably like, along with prices and aftercare! He went through all the steps prior to the actual piercing to make sure I knew what was going to happen (it had been about 10 years since my last piercing) and I barely felt a thing! Quick and easy! Highly recommend if you're looking to for something new or just to jazz up your current quarantine look!

Came here for my wife's nose piercing. The piercing guy was so friendly and personable, really easy to hang with. Customer service was top notch- they changed their prices after we bought the gift certificate but still honored it at the old price. That's legit, friends. Shame they don't have proper disability access, though. Ramp needed!

First time here, honestly I wanted to love them. But the result made me not too happy. I wanted the helix up a little higher. He dotted it higher but pierced it lower for some odd reason. Also, I was told my total was going to be a total of $210 and I ended up paying $285 for the upper Helix! (I didn't even buy the after care spray because I just had another piercing done the week prior somewhere else and had purchased it there) I feel like he made it super tight and there is no room for my ear to breathe and totally failed on the placement agreement that was set prior to piercing it.

Totally bummed out! Now I regret going here and not back to my recent place (Iris) because I had no patience's because they couldn't squeeze me in today! Kicking myself in the ass right about now. Update: the manager Ben spoke with me and gave me a few options. We ended up removing my first piercing and he Re-pierced it for me with no charge, however, I still had to pay for another jewelry which was a little annoying. I wish I didn't have to get it removed and re-done because it was actually painful. But lesson learned.

Adorn is a professional piercing shop that values customer service and quality of car. Came with my friend to get her second ear lobe piercing and we were extremely happy with our experience. Arrived without appointment on a Thursday night at 6:30pm, picked out an earring and then waited about 15 minutes to actually get the piercing done. Seth, our piercer, was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and friendly.

He was meticulous with keeping everything sterilized. he changed his gloves 5 times during the piercing process! He had my friend lay down on a padded bench (the ones in doctors offices) and did the piercing by hand. What's cool about this piercing is that once the piercing heals, she can replace the back part of the earring for a shorter one (once the swelling stops), and click it onto the jewel/front part of the earring so you don't need to buy a whole new earring. Pricing: $35 for the piercing. ~$100 for a single side solid gold earring with jewel. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with the piercing experience. I definitely will be coming to a professional piercing shop like this one (and not Claire's) if I ever want to get a piercing!
