I have been to their downtown location a number of times and as I'm somewhat of a shopper, I have scored what I consider good deals by going to their website beforehand and checking out their Daily Specials. Pricing is clear and beyond that, I've liked everyone that has helped me to this day-good people for sure and I highly recommend paying them a visit.

I went in to sell an piece of platinum. I was surprised by the barbershop in the back, but it gave the business a unique feel. The customer service was very friendly and accommodating. I got a fair price for my piece, had a lovely conversation, and bought a book while I was there. I highly recommend this business.

Like that they post prices on the website. Not sure yet how I feel about being $30 back of spot on Australian moon landing coin compared to $20 back for generic bars.

Loved my experience at Affordable Jewelry & Precious! We came in for a custom ring after doing some research and came across the highly reviewed Affordable Jewelry & Precious. Jenny was very attentive and prompt with all our communications. She was able to have my ring completed earlier than expected and even scheduled the appraisal we requested on the same day. Absolutely love the end result!

I came in here to get a roll of dimes appraised and then collect the cash. I work as a volunteer and was doing this on behalf of a deceased client. Very small transaction. I entered and was greeted a hello by two men. One guy was helping a customer. They seemed busy so I had a seat and waited. Minutes later another customer came in just walked up to the counter and a staff member started helping him. Huh?

I didn't really say anything then I stood and walked toward the counter. Oh did you need something? I said "I didn't just come in here to sit down." The younger guy then motioned me over and helped me. It was super easy, he explained very quickly how they calculate the value. I was satisfied and tried to write some notes down. They apologized for the lack of initial service and even the patron that came in after me apologized. Really nice of him. I left happy and with a nice piece of chocolate in a gold wrapper. ' The dimes were 70% silver and were worth $48. They rounded up from 47.85.

On my first visit I took in a few coins to sell, not being experienced nor schooled in what to expect I rolled with the way things were done, I didn't expect what I was quoted would be different on what I was paid or shown on my receipt. The last time I went in it was total chaos. I was being helped by Aaron, then Brandon stepped in, in the meanwhile Rodney was pricing some coins I had.

After all was said and done, I wasn't paid what I was quoted for the second time, the coins I had brought in the previous day weren't as nice nor as old and I was paid less for and not all the coins were accounted for on my receipt. I understand things get chaotic with customers coming and going but this wasn't a first with the swapping or being quoted a price to find I wasn't paid nor were all the coins accounted for. Thanks guys.

Absolutely love this place! The selection and friendly customer service are what keep my coming back as often as possible. I drive all the way from Eugene to visit these folks because I can always trust their products and service. Certainly worth stopping by and visiting!

Great shop. Looks like a great selection of silver and some gold. I appears to be very well established. I've been passing bye for year. Im hopeful to do business there someday. I love looking through the Windows and dreaming about gold and silver bars. It makes me very happy Two thumbs up.

I've purchased a few coins from this business and the trans actions were pretty quick. Their website updates the metal prices frequently and you know that the price is going to be. I visited the new Beaverton shop on opening weekend. Still in the set up phase then, but it nice to know that there is a shop a bit closer to home, but the downtown location was convenient for me as well. While I wish the bid/ask spread was closer, I haven't found anyone with better prices.

I had a great quick and professional experience with this place. I see some low reviews and I can only guess that this is being done by their competitors intentionally because I see a lot of 5 Star reviews that make sense with what I saw and then some raving mad 1-star reviews that basically make no sense. If you have business in downtown this is the place to go they were wonderful in all aspects

If I had my choice I'd give them a negative 5 stars. This place is full of cutthroat people. I've bought from them a few times in the past and yesterday was my last time. I had called in to place a reserve order for some coins and told the employee I would be in the next day to pick them up which he said was ok. Well we had a giant ice/snow storm and I called back in NO more than a hour and said that I wasn't (sure) if I was going to make it in due to the weather and he COMPLETELY freaked out on me.

He started out by saying "no, you agreed to pay for x amount of coins tomorrow at x price" and I replied. "I think you're mistaken, I didn't buy anything and just gave you my first and last name". He literally repeated this like 3 times like a broken record (condescending like) and then I said to drop the whole deal because I didn't like how he was treating me that prompted him to SCREAM (yes, he actually did without exaggeration) at me and told me to never call again and literally hung up on me.

I was so taken back at what had happened that I called the Portland store and left a voicemail. Well I just got a call from them thinking they were going to apologize and was shocked that he treated me like I was 5 years old and asking me only if I was told I could come in tomorrow. That's all I was asked and he refused to listen to my complaint (interrupted me when I spoke).

He didn't offer any apology and the call was abruptly ended. Here's the deal, I never lost my cool during these conversations which is the absolute truth. This was beyond unacceptable and never in my entire life has a business been so nasty to me. Never. At no point during my initial conversation placing a hold did he state any ramifications if I couldn't make it and it was a brief 5 min call (no strings attached). I'm done with these sharks.

I should've just not showed up and flushed the courtesy call I gave them down the toilet. I called my buddy to tell him what had happened and he said he had a VERY similar experience there. He said he placed a order and asked what time he could come and pick them up and he was told a couple weeks. He then said that he wasn't informed of that and would like to cancel the order since he could buy it from a other store he buys from the same day and the guy raised his voice and said "fine!".

This is no joke and my buddy said he'll never do business from them. There's rude and then there's this which was unacceptable from every angle. Do yourself a favor and buy from a business that treats you with respect and not only concerned about getting your money.

I've been going to Brandon @ AJPM for a while now anytime i'm in the market for any precious metals or when i have questions about coins or other metals. Everyone there is always very helpful and are very knowledgable!

These guys are the best price on the street. Fast and efficient. They even have a great tv screen in the lobby that shows the fluctuating price of different forms of bullion.

I like to buy silver rounds occasionally with my extra spending money. I went to a few other precious metal stores and this one had the best presentation and supply.

Several years ago they sold me new gold bars, and put them in a little plastic safety pack that I never opened and stored in a safety deposit box. Recently, I took them back to sell. They looked at one briefly, said it was scuffed and had been in "circulation" and offered $25 less than their advertised payment. This is a ripoff joint. Best to stay away.

I have worked with Aaron who is at the Vancouver location for several years. They have always offered the best prices when I bought or sold - no hassle. I check a few places but have never gotten a better offer so have done all my business with them. They also operate Blue Moon Coins, highly rated on EBay and are a dealer with a national presence. Local office is not fancy but that keeps overhead low.
