StickyJ Medical ID (affectionately known by many as StickyJ) was founded during the year 2000 by Lori Torman with the goal of selling personalized photo pins that could hold a sticky-back photo. With just one engraving machine and operating out of her home garage, it was hard to imagine that 19 years later Sticky Jewelry would be a leading e-retailer in the personalized and medical alert jewelry space.
Lori still runs the company with the help of her husband Barry and her son-in-law Chris out of Seminole, Florida -- working with a great team of employees, many of whom helped Lori start out of her garage.

This is on Sticky J's website under FAQs: "General Issues: Even if an item is out of warranty, PLEASE contact us with any issues you experience. We care about you and your experience with Sticky Jewelry. We will try our best to ensure your experience is a positive one." I wrote an email expressing my disappointment in some of my 6 or 7 purchases of medical bracelet jewelry over the last few years, particularly one that broke this summer at the 6 month mark (which was obviously out of the 90 day warranty).
I knew they wouldn't replace any of my old stuff (it was rather cheap, so I didn't want it again anyway), but I asked for one of their discount coupon codes that they sometimes send out in emails so I could try something higher quality--had my eye on a new sterling silver $75 medical bracelet, thinking maybe it would last longer. But I did NOT get a positive response.
Customer service refused to give a discount code! But they would be happy to send me a free stainless steel medical alert (like you get at your doc's office). This made no sense. I just offered to buy something if they'd give me a discount of 20% (or whatever!) off and they said no.losing money for themselves! This was not great customer service, especially considering that I have been ordering things from them for a number of years, and was even wanting to upgrade to a fancier medical bracelet.
This time it won't be on this website. There's plenty of other options out there, folks. Sadly, when Sticky J states that they will try their best to ensure a customer has a positive experience, you may want to think twice. They did not show that they value a (repeat!) customer.and they're even losing a sale!

Ordered a medic alert bracelet for my 6 year old solely based on the fact that the delivery date was very near in the future and I didn't want her to go long without wearing one. The time when it said it would be delivered has passed and customer service advised that it shipped on Friday, October 19th and will take 2 to 3 weeks! This is unacceptable and your delivery time should update based on location or you should just be up front with customers. Not impressed and will not be ordering from them in the future.

I ordered a medical ID bracelet and the etching with the emergency info rubbed off within a couple months. I have since reordered the same bracelet 2 times and the same thing keeps happening. On the 3rd order the woman on the phone said to put clear nail polish over it, which we did and it still rubbed off. Now that I have tried 3 different bracelets and am getting annoyed I ask for a refund in which thy send me the mailing address of which to return to, and say I am responsible for paying the return shipping on a product that was not only defective once, but 3 times. Will not be doing business here again.
