I went in on two different occasions to get pricing to have a few pieces fixed and resized. Tried twice thinking maybe the first time she was having a bad day, well that wasn't the case. She was very rude and unprofessional. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere. Definitely would not recommend.

I would leave NO stars if possible. This lady / owner is extremely rude and unprofessional. I called to inquire about taking some links out of a chain that I own and very detailed with my inquiry. Due to the lack of attention she gives her customers she didn't hear exactly what I wanted and instead of trying to understand where I was coming from, she became rude.
I'm a person that believes in supporting small business but from experience I will be spending my money elsewhere. The customer is what keeps you in business so think about that before being rude.

So I gave her one start because if you dont click on the start you can't post anything, so I took my diamonds earring for a very simple repair, I told her that all the diamonds were in place, I guess she din't like that remark, so after a long time she call me to pick them up, when I went home l looked at them carefully with a amplify glass and notice some of the diamonds have been replaced with very bad quality ones, almost like dirty glass pieces. Very disappointed and I am going to call the Better Business Bureau.

I had a small engraving on the back of a St Christopher medal redone because the original had faded due to age. The medal was given to me by my best friends mother after my best friend was killed with a run in with a tractor trailer. I was 11 Y/O and it was in Oct. 1963. The inscription read; Mike In memory of Steven 10/28/1963. I was charged $45.00. I feel it was a bit high for the work done. Maybe it's a fair price. I have not had anything engraved in a long time! I went here base on YELP reviews which have mostly steered me in the right directions. Also it's in my neighborhood. As age creeps up on me my wedding band needed soap too many times to remove from my finger. Also I inherited a beautiful ring with 3 diamonds from descendants from my husbands maternal side that was too large for me. The straight faced lady at the counter studied what I had, verified that they were real diamonds and asked if they were insured.
I satisfied her that yes, they were. She looked at my engagement ring, still on my finger, and said that I would loose that diamond soon because the pronged had faded away. Okay, it's 28 year old, she might be right so I also gave it to her. We are talking 3 rings here. Three valuable rings. She gave me a ticket with the next sequential number on it like the dry cleaner gives you.
No ticket listing what I dropped off. No estimate value of what I dropped off. I understand that it is a family owned business and I should be trusting but what if she said I only dropped off one ring? Two business days later I got the call that they were ready to be picked up. The wedding band was still too tight. I asked her to put it on the sizer. and it was clear to both of us that it was 1/4 of a size too small.
I only asked for it to be made 1/2 size bigger so this is a big deal. Instead of keeping it to add more gold she took it to the back room and "stretched it". Making one ring 1/2 size bigger, one ring 1/2 size smaller and building up 4 prongs cost $160.00. I'm not sure if that's a fair deal or not. I've never done this before.

A small family run business where you feel truly taken care of. I've had jewellery soldered, watches repaired and rings sized here for some time now. It isn't a big box flashy store but the personal attention and reasonable, fair prices are all that matters. They also have excellent prices on used jewellery.

I could not be more pleased with this store. My fiance purchased my engagement ring here, and it is absolutely stunning. the craftsmanship on the ring is exquisite, and I'm fairly certain the ring gets prettier every time I look at it. Both of us have also experienced outstanding customer service. They spent an entire morning working with him to ensure he got exactly what he wanted, and they were very proactive in helping him.
Because I've never owned anything remotely this nice before, I had lots of questions, and they were very helpful in explaining precisely how to take care of my unique ring. I try to support local businesses in general, but no chain could match the quality, price or service I got here. I will not go anywhere else to buy fine jewelry in the future.
