We had a great experience at Santisi and Bove. My husband bought my engagement ring here and said that Kim was so helpful. She taught him about what to look for when picking out a diamond and really took time to get him up to speed before making such a big purchase. The first visit was all about educating him and then he came back to look at actual diamonds.

My husband knew exactly what style he wanted so the whole process was pretty quick and he bought the diamond and setting on his second visit to the store. I absolutely love my ring. A very classic round solitaire. We also bought our wedding bands here. They have a wedding band sale in March, which was great. There were tons of styles to choose from.

I would say you should definitely do some research online to figure out what type of band you are looking for. Otherwise you could be there for hours trying on different styles. We both picked our bands in about an hour and that was it! We love the rings and are very happy with the experience.

After becoming tired of high pressure tactics, and not satisfied with the inventory at some of the larger jewelers in the area, I decided to try Santisi & Bove. Kim worked with me to find the perfect wedding band for my style and budget. I had a idea of what I was looking for, but Kim really helped narrow my search. She was absolutely pleasant to work with and made the process enjoyable and stress free. I'll definitely be returning for any future needs.

My family has been going to Santisi for over 40 years. My dad went there to get my moms engagement ring, I bought my wedding ring there and my sister got hers there. They are trust worthy and amazing at what they do. They appraise jewelry, and are always prompt to fix anything that is broken. Always calling to make sure that you are kept in the loop with whats going on. Kim is also a jewelery sleuth! She's great at finding hard to find pieces like my treasured Ladybug pendant that I wear around my neck.

I get compliments on it EVERY day. My sister asked her to find one and she did! It was the perfect wedding gift! They are family run and care about what they do. I wouldn't go to a mall or chain jewelry store ever. Go To Santisi!

I never feel compelled to write a review the second I leave somewhere, especially if I don't actually make a purchase. However, my boyfriend and I were in here today as we just began our search for engagement rings. We wandered in after making a stop at a different jeweler downstairs. We figured, as long as we were in the building, we should probably shop around. Walking into this store was the best decision we ever made.

I explained to Kim what I thought I was looking for, and we looked at a few different settings. Although they didn't have the exact setting I wanted, we knew the style, and they were happy to custom make what I liked. Then, Kim sat with us for over an hour and gave us an education on diamonds. When we asked to compare diamonds that were a slightly smaller carat, she went upstairs to her wholesaler and brought us down more to look at.

Even though it was clear we weren't going to buy anything right away, she took the time to make sure that we left there educated. Although I am still on the hunt for the setting I love the most, I know when it comes time to buy, where we will be returning. What an incredible experience! So happy to have found this place.

Kim is amazing, super friendly and very helpful! There is a reason Chronicle picked this place when they did a program on Downtown Crossing!

Update to my earlier post: Kim was great - again! and the wedding rings were gorgeous. Being that I was out of the country and ordering the wedding rings, Kim went the extra mile to work with me via e-mail to counsel me and settle on the ring specifications. Thanks Kim!
