I brought a watch to be resized here. Lisa said they would handle it. I left it with them for 6 hours and when I came back they hadn't done a thing to it. Hugo asked me to come back a few days later which I chose not to do. Everyone working was sitting in a circle talking when I walked back in. I was thinking of purchasing an engagement ring but I don't think I'll be doing that.

Hugo came highly recommended from a close friend of ours. He worked with us long distance via phone calls, emails and texting, we've never met face to face. He was able to find the diamond we wanted and then design the wedding band we wanted all through long distance communication. It truly met, if not exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend him for your custom jewelry needs!

A true artist creating something for everyone from his wonderful silver signature jewelry to the fine design of gold and silver with gemstones. Unique. Authentic. Yes!

Platella is by far my favorite place to buy jewelry in the valley. Hugo's work is always gorgeous. It is unique but classic enough to always stay relevant. I started shopping there about 6 or 7 years ago and the first pieces I bought there look as beautiful as when I got them. When it came time to get an engagement ring I was so disappointed by the big name stores in the area.

We wound up at Platella and Hugo designed the most incredible ring that was exactly what I wanted and later bands to go with it. Between the pandemic and parenting I hadn't shopped there for about 2 years. I recently went back and everything is as beautiful as always. Not to mention, despite not seeing me for at least two years Hugo recognized me immediately, remembered my name, my husband's name, and even my father's name (he had been in years ago). The level of care that goes into the jewelry and customer care is remarkable. You will be so happy you shopped here!

I visit Platella on every trip to Scottsdale. Over the years I have accumulated many of Hugo's beautiful creations. The buying experience is always top notch. And the selection is outstanding! As a new resident of Scottsdale, I found myself in search of a jeweler, but I needed something unique. You see I was celebrating 50 years with the beautiful woman I wanted this new purchase to reflect. Capturing the magic of this moment required something special. Then, it happened. I walked into Platella Jewelers and met Hugo who shared so many beautiful options.

I quickly realized this could not be done as a surprise, so I brought my wife along for the journey. After taking her to various jewelers, we both agreed, Hugo's designs held our imagination. So captivating were the rings he showed us, I decided she had to have two rings! We ended up with a ring that represents 50 years of love and devotion and here's to 50 more! We've decided we'll be returning for the 100th Anniversary!

My husband and I were planning our wedding and wanted a unique custom wedding ring that had personal meaning. We had already admired Hugo's custom jewelry in our wandering through Kierland one day. We explained to Hugo what we wanted. Previous consults with other Jewelers had yielded disappointing designs so we weren't too optimistic. The design Hugo created for our ring was so perfect and with such a classy touch, we knew he was our jeweler.

Stopped in to get my rings inspected, cleaned and shined. Great service and friendly owner! Looking around the store, they have amazing pieces. Can't wait to come back when I need to buy something.

We met Hugo (the owner) at Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale. He had a booth with some of his work. A few months later I went to his store and was greeted by Maria. She was super helpful and was able to point me to the ring my fiance pointed out at the auction. She was super helpful and worked out a great deal. My fiance absolutely loves the ring. Hugo has brilliant jewelry that will definitely make an impression.

He was super helpful even after the purchase and came to our home to personally pickup the ring and drop it off for appraisal. The process was flawless, we got a good deal, the ring is stunning, and we will certainly get some custom wedding bands from Hugo as well.

Yesterday was a jewel of a day for me when I entered Platella at Kierland Commons. I have long admired Hugo's designs and artistry, but he went above and beyond to help me with a ring that I owned, making it look a thousand times better. His customer service attitude is outstanding and it didn't matter that it was late in the day (I'm sure he really would have liked to end his day.).

Of course, my guy spotted a ring we both fell in love with--all of Platella's jewelry is artwork. Thank you so much, Hugo, your Platella's designs, quality and customer service are outstanding!
