Dropped off jewelry worth $xx, xxx for repair mar 24th for repair at their trolley square location, to be taken to an undisclosed location to be repaired. I asked for a call back with repair estimate. almost 2 weeks later, no call. i called to inquire.and when the woman called me back, she blamed someone else for "not giving her the message" with my estimate and informed me she was managing "many other" projects/repairs.but if i approved $200, they could fix it that day for pick up?! when i asked her what they were fixing for $200, she couldn't tell me.

I decided to cancel the repair given the poor customer service. picked up apr 6th, and the same woman was surly and dismissive. my advice, take your precious jewels elsewhere, where they value your business, can keep up with customers and deadlines, and are service-oriented. it was a solidly terrible experience

I went to Payne Anthony Jewelers after visiting some of the so called wholesale diamond place in Salt Lake. as well as the bigger chain stores. Hands down Payne Antony was the best prices and service was OVER THE TOP. I purchased my wedding ring with about 4 carats and its amazing. Steve the owner stood behind a small problem even after we moved to another state. i highly recommend buying your jewelry here! YOU CANT GO WRONG

They made my custom engagement ring that my fiance (now husband) designed. They have high quality jewelry and the staff is knowledgeable and personable.

Payne Anthony was our favorite of several jewelers we visited. Jeff was so kind and patient, and my ring turned out fantastic. I would definitely recommend!

I'm not sure the name of the man that helped me, but he very kindly and patiently checked my family jewelry to tell me if it was real or not. Once we found out that it was fake he talked to be about making custom pieces and about different stones and said that while the stones were fake, we could use the gold to trade for something new. He was very personable and although I was probably not the best dressed and I'd had surgery on my hand the day before, he still was friendly and kind and happy to help.

I feel like the bad reviewers on here forget that they're jewelers and, from what I could see, only 2 of them. Sometimes with custom work they have to take some serious time discussing with other customers especially about engagement rings and stuff. I'm glad I didn't let those reviews stop me from giving them a chance and I'm excited to work with them on my custom wedding ring. Update: They did a BEAUTIFUL job working with my idea to create a ring from the stones from 3 different pieces of family jewelry. It was created even better than I imagined.

Steve was so great! I took my mom to have her too tight wedding ring cut off and he was so polite, quick and gave us suggestions for when she decides what to do with it. We'll be back in the future for any jewelry needs.

We purchased our diamond engagement ring and wedding bands from Payne Anthony 6 years ago. We've had them serviced regularly and have had an excellent experience every time. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I can't recommend this shop enough even if just for the wide variety of jewelry available. My now fiance and I had been ring shopping for about a year and hadn't found the perfect ring. We weren't in any hurry and it seemed like every shop we went to simply wanted us to buy a ring and leave. We decided to look at custom rings and went to see Jeff at Payne Anthony.

Never once did he rush us and he always had time for questions and was happy to take the time to make sure everything was perfect. For the next year he worked with my fiance to create a ring of her dreams for less than what we would've got at any retailer.

I absolutely love this jeweler. They have the most unique selection. They have great pricing because they have everything from a few hundred up to tens of thousands. I'm a guy so jewelery is usually boring but I enjoy coming in to just browse. Got my wife's engagement ring here. We both couldn't get our minds off if it. In a few months we come back for my ring

Excellent service! Ask for Jeff. He has been in the jewelry business for over 20 years. We were just walking around trolley square with no plans to go to a jewelry store. We entered just for fun and we left with a great experience. He definitely knows his stuff and takes the time to work with you and figure out what is best. Overall great place if you are looking for beautiful jewelry.

My husband really wanted to use Payne Anthony to purchase our wedding rings. We went in several times and always received very helpful and kind customer service. My husband was very particular about what kind of ring he wanted to buy for me - he wanted a custom ring that had a lot of symbolism in it. He spent a lot of time thinking about the design and importance behind this ring and even drafted up several sketches and digital proofs of what he wanted the ring to look like.

We took these in to Payne Anthony to have it custom made. We worked with them for quite a while back and forth - it was kind of a drawn out process. Eventually, my husband got frustrated that the designer kept saying that what my husband wanted done for my ring was not possible and the drafts that they came back with were nothing close to what he was envisioning.

During this time, I had already ordered and purchased his wedding band, which he loves although it was quite pricey, as well as we had also ordered a loose sapphire gemstone. The gemstone was reasonably priced. We probably could have found a very similar wedding band for a bit cheaper somewhere else; I was quoted one price but I was charged another, higher price. Overall, Payne Anthony isn't a terrible jeweler but we didn't really enjoy our experience with them. I would say keep your expectations in check when it comes to their custom ring process.

Payne Anthony has top of the line jewelry and an amazing selection. I bought my wife's wedding ring 5 years ago at Payne Anthony and they were extremely helpful and easy to work with. Now 5 years later my I was able to work with Jennifer because my wife decided she wants a wedding band to match her ring. Jennifer was able to contact the manufacturer of my wife's ring and have them create a matching wedding band. Jennifer has been nothing but helpful and professional in getting this wedding band for my wife.
