Bought my wedding band here in 2017. They are very knowledgeable on not just their inventory, but on other types of jewelry, artifacts, and local treasures. We came back this year and they cleaned my ring and assessed all my diamonds to ensure they were structurally sound. They have many styles of jewelry from popular styles and estate sale jewerly to coins and locally made jewerly.

My fiance (at the time) and I visited Cedar Chest in search of a wedding band for our spontaneous elopement planned for that evening. We did not have any expectations. We also knew that having something in my size, or sized to me, may be something we wouldn't be able to do in such short notice. Bonnie knew immediately what we should look at. She showed us a handmade gold ring that was absolutely perfect!

With such detail, and being handmade right here on Sanibel Island, this would be the unique and memorable ring that would be perfect for our marriage! However, it needed to be made to my size, and may not be ready for a couple of days. Hey, it's okay, we will find something temporary for our ceremony, and we would have the perfect ring in a few days.

I received a phone call a short time later. Bonnie called to say that their jeweler would create my ring within the next couple of hours, and we would have it in time for the ceremony! We couldn't believe it! We had the ring in time for our marriage ceremony, and it couldn't have been more perfect! Thank you so much to Bonnie and everyone else at Cedar Chest!

To the locals of Sanibel Island, you have a gem (pun intended) of a shop! You are lucky to have such a quality store that truly takes care of every detail for it's customers. To anyone visiting Sanibel, please take a moment to stop by Cedar Chest. It was an absolutely wonderful experience!

My fiance and I have been customers of The Cedar Chest for 3 years, visiting is always a must during our trips to Sanibel. Every single experience here has left us both smiling and excited to show off our new finds to friends and family. This one was no different. Since moving to Sanibel a little over 8 months ago we had a small incident with my engagement ring being run over in a parking lot.

We immediately took it to Cedar Chest where we were assured it would be a quick easy fix, which it was. The jeweler inspected the diamond, straightened the band and polished it to perfection while we casually browsed the shop. We were on our way in less than 10 minutes and all it cost us was "just a smile."

Very unhappy with sales clerk! Bought a very pretty necklace and pendant on Monday, July 24 but did not know about the $25 off coupon ( she did not mention it). That day I also told the clerk I would more than likely return for the matching earrings. Another vendor on Tuesday, told me about the coupon so I mentioned it when I did in fact, return to purchase the earrings on Wednesday.

The clerk said she was sorry, but purchase was two days ago, today's purchase did not qualify, and she could not give me the credit from two days ago because of the computer. I felt she could have done more like tell us about the coupon in the first place or made it right. Clerk was the tall woman with long curly hair. This whole shopping experience upsets me.

Great service & designs. I have bought all sorts of beach themed jewelry here and some lovely estate pieces. They will keep a running wish list for those who are interested & will ship. The jewelry is all price points. One of my favorite pieces was under $100.

Tried to shop there this morning and it was 10:45 and not opened! Hours say they open at 10:00? They were inside and I knocked on door. Told them I wanted to buy birthday presents! Told me they wouldn't be open for another 15 minutes. They were running late today! Went down the road to Lilly's and Co. bought many birthday presents! Big mistake cedar chest jewelers! Glad you have so much business that when someone knocks on your door to buy not look or just browse you send them away! Very smart business practice!

This is one of my favorite places to shop on Sanibel. I always get a new item for my necklace when I am there. I love the painted enamel pieces. I have a flamingo, a palm tree and a blue crab. Everyone loves them and asks me where they come from and I know people have mail ordered them because they are so pretty.

Awesome store and staff! I have been buying jewelry from them since 1975. They have a fabulous selection and really great prices. Their sealife selection is the best around. I love to peek into their Estate cases when I visit. I always find a treasure to bring home.

Very cute jewelry with many beach tropical themes. They have gold and silver and white gold options as well as gold coin jewelry which I thought was interesting. They are very friendly and welcoming and I know I will be back in the future.

Visited last June and the associate was super helpful and not pushy. My fiance called after we returned home and purchased a ring for me over the phone. The ring was mailed to him and everything was great. Love the ring, loved the experience. We will stop back for sure.
