Every year, Grono and Christie Jewelers travels nearly 10,000 miles to hand select diamonds in Antwerp for our customers back in East Milton. With our connections overseas, we are able to cut out the middleman, and save money in the process. Our Four C's of Diamonds guide can help you decide on the most important factors when shopping for a diamond. The word carat derives from the word carob, a Mediterranean seed, which has an extremely consistent weight for measuring. The greater the carat weight, the rarer, and more valuable the diamond becomes.
Lab-grown diamonds are chemically, optically, and physically identical to naturally occurring diamonds and the hardest of all gemstones. We love using lab-created diamonds in engagement rings and tennis bracelets or other jewellery that sees heavy use since they retain their brilliance, fire and scintillation better than other gemstones.
The romance of a natural diamond cannot be matched: formed within volcanic tubes over billions of years of heat and pressure, diamonds are a gorgeous rarity that signify true love and affection. Diamonds are the only gems composed of a single element, carbon. Yet despite their homogenous chemical makeup, each diamond is as unique as a snowflake.

My mother has been going to Grono & Christie for over 40 years! I grew up hearing the name and hearing how much she loved them. This year I had a beautiful baby girl and my mother finally became a grandmother for the first time. Being her first Mother's Day as "Nanny" I thought how nice would it be to use her jewelers, Grono & Christie and make her a birthstone necklace with the her birthstone with mine and my daughter's. Bruce, one of the owners immediately knew my Mother, he even used her maiden name!
He was beyond happy that I came to him! It was such a great experience, I felt like I was dealing with family! When I picked my necklace up, it was even more beautiful than I expected. I couldn't recommend them more!

Cannot recommend Grono and Christie more! The customer service I received from Bruce was second to none. There's a reason they have so many 5-star reviews (I actually found them via a google search!). I had a ring from my late grandmother that was missing a center stone. I wanted it re-set with my son's birthstone (also her birthstone). Bruce went above and beyond to find the perfect stone for me and I just got the ring back-it's gorgeous. I am so happy with my decision to take such a special family ring to him to be fixed. I will cherish it forever. Thank you!

Bruce's customer service and knowledge was absolutely impeccable. I knew right from the initial phone call that I wanted to have my 18 inch diamond cut 4mm rope chain repaired at Grono & Christie's. It took less than a week to replace/repair my chain and it came back as if it were just purchased.
