Had a great experience with CJ Charles Jewelers, specifically Belinda. Belinda is extremely knowledgeable, quick-witted, and pays attention to detail. I had been referred to this Jeweler because of my Cartier watch. When I initially met Belinda I was impressed by how much she knew about the overall piece, the mechanisms, and operations. Likewise, she actually took the time and patience to address all my questions in detail.

Can't say enough nice things about the gentlemen at CJ Charles Jewelers! The clasp on my Cartier watch band would not stay shut. I had wrapped a bandaid around the clasp so I could wear my watch. Not the chicest of solutions. I happened to be walking by the store and decided to stop in to see if they could be of assistance. I was created immediately and explained my situation.

One of the two gentlemen said they would see what they could, took my watch to the back and two minutes later returned with the clasp working perfectly. They would not accept any payment for their services. This kind of customer service and kindness is difficult if not impossible to find these days. On a recent visit to the San Diego area, my wife and I stopped into the UTC location to briefly browse their watch selection. Long story short, I purchased an IWC Big Pilot 43 in blue from Esteban. I couldn't be more satisfied with the professionalism and service we received from him. As a topper, he included the brown leather watch strap as a gift. Such wonderful service.

Esteban is personable has been great at follow-up. To me, follow-up and keeping promises is a huge component of good customer service. I was interested in a particular watch and he answered my questions and set up a time for me to come into the store. I did end up purchasing a watch and he also has continued to take care of ordering another Watch strap for me, as well as making sure I am informed comfortable with my transactions. I would shop at CJ Charles again.

I would highly recommend this watch shop if you are looking for Panerai watches. Johnathan and Ali were very helpful in picking out the perfect watches for my wife and I.

Super impressed with this jewelry store. They carry high end Swiss watches and high end jewelry. I purchased a watch in the $5-k range and they treated me like a king. You would have thought that I bought the Hope Diamond! I used Estaban who was awesome. I will definitely be back for more. I recommend this store who values great customer service and fair prices.

I worked with Esteban when buying a Cartier watch. He went above and beyond to make the transaction something special. Very knowledgeable and personable. There was a delay in getting a second band for the watch, he kept me up-to-date with what was happening with texts and phone calls, then checked with me to make sure I had received it. Amazing experience! I purchased a Vacheron Constantin watch.all through email and telephone calls. I had the watch shipped across the country, sight unseen. Esteban was amazing, extremely professional and responsive. The watch is gorgeous and was exactly as Esteban described it to me. I had the pleasure of working with Ali Moradi at CJ Charles Jewelers while searching for a vintage watch. Since I am out of state and was unable to see the watch in person, he provided numerous photos that highly detailed the watch I was interested in which was the next best thing to seeing it in person. After moving to San Diego over 10 years ago, I looked for an upstanding and excellent jeweler that provided top notch, white glove service while maintaining their honesty and integrity in customer care. I have enjoyed many beautiful pieces purchased over the years. The owner, Vahid, even designed new pieces for me from other jewelry I previously owned.

His excellence in his field is truly an art and I love wearing my beautiful pieces where he has put the spark back in things I thought had lost their luster. CJ Charles is our family's go to and we value this wonderful member of the community.

Maybe they could sense that I didn't know much about watches or I caught the salesperson on a bad day. While the gentleman was nice enough, he obviously became impatient with my questions. I had a personal milestone recently and I want to purchase a nice watch for myself. At least I thought I did. The gentleman didn't seem to realize that I like a big watch, which is odd since I mentioned it half a dozen times and he kept showing me smaller faces.

Although he was courteous enough, in the beginning at least, and the selection is nice, he either couldn't understand my style or just didn't want to listen. I had the impression he wanted to push a particular watch on me instead of really hearing me. Nice store in a nice location, but that's all the positives I can say.

CJ Charles jewelers is across the street from Prospect Jewelers at the Village in LaJolla. I found a pre-owned Rolex submariner 42 mm here on the Internet for $6200 in May 2018. That turned out to be a good idea to purchase it because when we returned One year later, they had the exact same watch for sale at $10,900. The people here are really nice, we met JOHN who is the vintage watch salesman.

They offer you water, they do a very nice soft sales job and they are not pushy. They are willing to pull out Rolex after Rolex and let you look at it. They have Cartier for both men and women, Patel Philippe and Panerai. The store is divided into two parts- on the right side and the vintage pre-owner is on the left side. They have two watch makers on site so they can repair and clean your timepieces.

Don't leave anything with them without a written quote for service. I was given an inaccurate cost of service (service was 35% higher for the exact service quoted) I was given inaccurate amount of time to complete service (double the amount of time) Associates did not return my call as they claimed they would. I purchased the watch I was having serviced from them as well as many others so I did have expectations of them. When my watch is finally returned I will NEVER do business with them again. There company is only as good as their service, and theirs is horrible.

I called 2 weeks ago to make an appointment to get sized for and purchase a new Cartier Love bracelet and possibly trade in the old one that doesn't fit anymore. I also had several pieces that needed to be appraised and my husband was interested adding to his watch collection. The nice gentleman on the phone told me to send an email to one of the sales people and copy him to make the appointment.

I did so and never heard back. Called a week later and spoke to the same gentle man and he apologized and told me that they had been "busy" and that he'd get the sales person to call me back. Never heard back. I went directly to CARTIER for the new bracelet, ordered it direct, excellent costumer service and free overnight delivery. I sold the old bracelet through a wonderful online luxury resales.

Also amazingly easy and wonderful customer service. All done in less than a day without have disrupt my work day. I'll have the other pieces appraised at the Cartier store in LA when I'm there for business next week. 2 stars for the nice gentleman that answered the phone, but nothing else. It's too easy to go elsewhere these days!

I just purchased a watch at CJ Charles. It was another wonderful transaction. The best thing about being a CJ Charles customer is that you feel like the member of an exclusive club. They remember you and your interests and call you by name when you enter the store. They throw the best watch and jewelry-themed holiday parties that bring in experts and unique exhibits from all the top brands.

And the care they take with their customers is matched only by their knowledge. I am a watch fan. CJ Charles is the only store in San Diego County where everyone working at the store is a watch fan as well. Walk in, ask about an obscure watch, and they will know the watch, have a better than normal chance of getting one if it is currently in production, and if it is vintage, know where to get it for you.

As for jewelry, I must mention my wife spent years looking for the perfect "right hand" diamond ring. She found it at CJ Charles. I send my friends and family to CJ Charles. You should too.

Best high end jewelry in San Diego. The owner is a hard working family man and I have only had positive experiences with him and his staff.

Decided to buy a watch a few weeks back. I was browsing a few stores around the area and finally stepped into CJ Charles. Almost immediately, I was greeted by Taylor, who was very personable and knowledgeable. I let him know that although I don't have expert knowledge of watches, I do have a general idea of the "kind" and "style" of watch that I was looking for.

With that, he stepped into the back, and moments later he brought out two Rolex Sea-dwellers. These were exactly what I had in mind! Over the next several days, we kept in communication, and less than a week later I purchased one of the Sea-dwellers (w/ box and papers). Before I came in to pick it up, he had set up the watch and put it through an accuracy test, the results of which he included as a small print-out. We also had it sized, which took no time at all. My experience with CJ Charles was nothing short of fantastic. They've earned a lifetime customer.

Stopped by to check out some engagement rings, figure out my ring size, and see what the world has to offer in terms of expensive bling that I have only just started to think about and research. The main woman who had helped us was very kind, soft-spoken, and honest. She didn't try to sell me on any one or two things but rather listened to our likes, dislikes, and budget. Unfortunately, there was an older woman who, although was "kind" enough to offer us a glass of water, almost seemed forced to do so and had a daunting and unnerving look on her face.

After a few minutes, she proceeded to laugh away into the back with another man and I didn't see her until we were about to exit the store. Needless to say, the variety and selections are not plentiful but CJ Charles Jewelers deserves a look-through from passersby.
