I brought an antique turquoise and silver ring from my mom here to be resized (it had been crushed and wasnt even circular anymore). I don't even know if the ring is worth anything but I love it and wanted to be able to wear it because it means a lot to me. This was the third shop I had brought the ring to -- the other two places told me they couldn't fix it.

They said the process would damage it further. I was treated very kindly at Watch & Wares. The gentlemen I gave my ring to was welcoming and confident he could fix my ring without damaging it and he was right. In fact, when I told him what they other shops said, he responded with something along the lines of, "Well, I'm sure they honestly didn't know how to fix it, but we sure do!" It turned out beautifully! I was very pleased and it gives me confidence to bring in other old pieces that I want to be able to wear.

This is the only place I take my watches for servicing. I recently took my 1967 Omega 120 to Watches & Wares to have the bezel soldered because it had a fracture. They went above and beyond! The bezel never rotated since I bought the watch. I was pleasantly surprised that now it does rotate. Thank you!

It's my husband and I'd 11 year wedding anniversary and we are planning on upgrading my ring. My husband told me to get whatever I want. I wanted to get something vintage since I love the 20's aesthetic. I went in on my own to look around and I was completely ignored by both the sales people. I looked for ten min before I spoke up and asked to see a couple pieces.

The guy wasnt even aware that what he was showing me was 14k white gold not platinum. I'm sure if I went in with my husband I would have gotten served or even acknowledged. I won't be wasting my time with crap service.

Both William and Linh Le are consummate professionals with great courtesy, the work in repairing or augmenting my very petite and specialized ring with lettering is always just right.

This store and it's staff are remarkable, as they are probably the most "courteous" Jewelers I have ever done business with, aside from the fact that they are exceptional in their craft, acumen, and creativity in creating alternative style or solutions dealing with jewelry or working with Gold. These people are also professional and gracious, and I believe that is why they have the reputation that they do.

They are not only a business, but also an integral part of the local community because of what they do, how they do it, and how they represent themselves. I strongly recommend them. I recently visited Watch & Wares again after a period of a couple of years, and they are still consummate professionals and courteous beyond expectation!

I brought my son in this morning to see about getting the band on his men's size watch sized to fit his little wrist. Will was so incredibly kind to us. He went right to work to take out a number of links while we waited in his beautiful shop. A short amount of time later, Will had the watch ready for my son to wear out! I came in with two separate rings that were gifted to me from my grandparents who have passed away with the goal of turning the two rings into my wedding band. They were very helpful to me from start to finish and honest with suggestions on how the final product would look based on what materials I had. The ring is so BEAUTIFUL. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome for such a sentimental piece.

This Shop down town orange is Fantastic. They have very high quality items and the service is the very best. They repair my watches and communicate very well. Highly recommend this place for all tour fine jewelry and watches needs. There is no need to go anywhere else!

Never never never will I shop here. Stopped by tonight at 435 and sign on the door said open until 5. Doors locked and They were putting away merchandise the male worker would not look our direction when It was quite obvious we were there with a purpose. The nice lady came out to see what we were looking for. We told her and the man told her nope we could not come in already put that item away. Total jerk. We came with a purpose and were rejected. Not a way to treat anyone let alone a potential customer. Must be the only store not needing $$$$.

I dropped my vintage Tissot and the seconds hand fell off. I was unsure if the watch would work properly again or keep time correctly. I had already went to two watch repair shops and they both told me I would need to source a replacement movement before they could even begin working on it. Finding a replacement Tissot 786-2 movement is almost impossible for this watch without buying a different working watch and stripping it for its movement (I could never desecrate a working vintage Tissot!).

I came here as a last ditch effort before selling this watch for parts. The shop owner promptly addressed me, asked what was wrong, and immediately took my Tissot to his workbench. Within 15 minutes, he returned the watch to me fully assembled and working! No replacement movement needed. He was able to assess that the movement was unaffected from the drop, reattach the seconds hand, test that it was keeping time, and return it to me.

His experience with vintage watches allowed him to make this decision, without needing me to supply my own parts to 'be safe' and keep the liability on the customer. He guaranteed his work with a warranty, and the price was more than fair. For the cost of a normal lunch, my 1960s Tissot was back in business and keeping time! Got to love Swiss watches.

Review long overdue. I've been here at least 10 times over the past few years. I've had watch batteries replaced, antique watches fully repaired, jewelry cleaned, purchased heirloom quality fine jewelry for gifts, have had jewelry repaired/sized and have had numerous custom fine jewelry pieces made from start to finish. Great experience always!

They are honest and fair when it comes to their service and pricing. My only call out would be that occasionally, you have to follow up with them to ask about the status of something (rather than them calling you), but other than that their service is always great!

I went to Watches &Wares to get some links taken out of a new watch. I got to the shop just as they had flipped the closed sign. The man came back and unlocked the door for me, and agreed to help me even though they had closed. Both employees were extremely friendly, and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. In the short time I was there, I also noticed that they had a great selection of watches and jewelery. I will definitely be going back here the next time I need a watch repaired or if I am in the market for a new one.

This shop is located right on the circle in Orange. Perfect location if you live or work in the area as I do. The shop owner is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and personable to boot. I have never shopped there, only had repairs done, but their selection of estate pieces is beautiful. And as far as repairs, couldn't be happier with the work I have had done there. After being gifted a mickey mouse pocketwatch, I noticed the battery was completely worn out. I just moved to Orange and had no idea where to go to get it replaced, so I just went to the closest watch store I could find. I took my 1972 Charlie Tuna watch to service and get a new leather band. It belonged to my Dad who passed. l wanted to gift it to family member with the same name Charles. Now it looks wonderful. l would take any/or all jewelry there to be fixed. Loved the service and personal attention to detail. lt's a collectors fun timepiece now.

We stopped in and found a great little shop with beautiful vintage jewelry, watches, and wonderful service! They gave us a quote for cleaning a watch, and also cleaned my wedding ring and swapped out a watch band. We'll be back to discuss upgrading my wedding ring!

Hope this finds everyone well. Recently got my watch repaired at this place and man. I can't make this stuff up, but I don't remember the last time I walked into a place where I felt so welcomed, invited and let alone, just felt warm. William, the owner was so friendly and just so easy to talk to. He definitely knows his stuff. In addition, this other gentlemen, Charlie, helped and repaired my watch.

This place really deserves the 5 star rating. I went in there on a Saturday in a rush to get some links taken out of my new watch, they were extremely cordial, fast and fit my watch to size. I really didn't want my Versace watch to get any scratches on it and this place did not disappoint. They were extremely careful and I was so satisfied with the result.

And get this, I was ready to pay for them taking the time to size my watch (which I didn't even buy from them), and they didn't charge me! You guys, how freaking rare is that these days? While I was looking around, I also want to mention that they have a beautiful selection of watches and one of a kind jewelry pieces that are normally so hard to find. I definitely will be returning to this place in the future.

I've been looking online for vintage men's watches for a while before I came across Watch & Wares in beautiful downtown Orange. Buying online seems a bit sketchy so finding this spot is a blessing. Their selection of vintage timepieces is out of this world! I'm a geek about vintage timepieces and this place is my watch heaven. I needed to find a good fair priced watch repair business to get my wife's watch repaired. She needed a new battery and a new leather band. I paid a fair price of 15.00 for the band and 15.00 for the battery. Service was fast and very polite i feel I couldn't of picked a better shop so Watch & Wares is our place to go now. Thanks

Superb service and integrity. I bought a watch from them online through pictures and a phone conversation and couldn't have had a better experience. Fast & easy, would highly recommend this shop to anyone! I was immediately greeted upon walking in and was helped right away. It appears to be a family business and you can feel the warmth immediately. I just needed to get my watch sized they handled everything great and only took about 10 minutes for sizing removing the links etc. They have gorgeous unique jewelry, watches & clocks- very enjoyable to browse while waiting. Linda was so nice and showed me some of her favorite pieces.

It was nice to see refreshingly different jewels and designs compared to your big stores. I would definitely come back for any more jewelry repair needs and shopping! Very reasonable prices, but most of all I appreciate the customer service. Check them out!
