These guys are the best! I felt odd, but I didn't know who hire to make a repair on a figurine on my Christopher Radko snow globe. I knew I would break it if I tried, but was confident they could fix it and they did. I suggested they charge me for labor - They did it while I waited and refused to charge me. They said I gave them something to bring a smile to their face. Thank you! ps They have some beautiful jewelry!

Olsky is a wonderful jeweler. Store has something for all price ranges. Great service. Also replaces watch batteries. So nice to have gift wrap too in cute boxes.

My sister in law recommended Olsky when I needed a ring resized and repaired. The service was fast, and the ring looks brand new. Pricing was fair and they have a beautiful selection of jewelry. Highly recommend over a chain jeweler!

I brought (the same) family heirloom ring in for repair a second time and was not impressed. What can I say, it's old and I never take it off. The band needed to be replaced, and the break was close to original etching around the set. I asked to be notified if the integrity of the design would be compromised. I was NOT notified, but instead picked up the ring to find the goldsmith had just freehand chicken scratched replacement band designs.

Not symmetrical or aesthetically acceptable. And there was a noticeable, rough line between the original setting and new band. The attendants available could not discern if the material was platinum or white gold. Despite cues from the invoice. (it was white gold originally, remember its ollld. But they gave me an unrequested platinum band "upgrade" that doesn't match the setting.) I had to take it somewhere else to restore its integrity, which included scrapping the damn platinum back to white gold. Waste.

I found this jeweler for repairs on Facebook however I did not have a positive experience actually I was very dissatisfied. I brought 2 pieces to be fixed on a Monday they told me the person that fixes things will be in on sat a pin for a watch easy and a tiny stone to be replaced I said please call me with a price I didn't know them they told me the pin would not be a charge I said that's so nice however the next Monday I called to see if I can pick up they said oh know it wNt be back for a Wk I said u said it would be done on sat anyway they called me 14 days later said I could pick it up I said how much is it the pin $10 the stone $14 I was like whatever well I just picked it up yes it is fixed however I did speak to the owner howard when the difference in time to fix he called me told me not to worry so I didn't.

Trust me it's not the $24 it's how it was handled! who was there he said nothing to me not even sorry about the misunderstanding! Sometimes all u want us a sorry! Oh well I dnt have to go back and I wNt

I was walking by when I saw Freida Rothman Jewelry in the window! My favorite affordable jewelry right here in Glencoe! I went right in to check out the inventory. To my surprise they had a nice collection of Freida's masterpieces. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. It was busy, but they were able to help me and I purchased 2 pairs! I could go to Nordstroms, however I would prefer to shop with the small businesses, where they care more about your business.

A "shout out" to friends to help a forgetful grandmother get a last minute custom gift made for her granddaughter's graduation led me to Olsky Jewelers! Their recommendation was perfect. I had a pendant beautifully set and at a reasonable price all finished within a very short time frame. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and up front about pricing which is very reasonable. I will use them again.

Olsky Jeweler's owner, Howard, is a real mensch-good guy. I've been going there for years and have found wonderful, reasonably priced, quality jewelry. And they do great repair work. I had a pearl necklace restrung at half the price of other jewelers. And they did a perfect job. The place has a family feel to it. They treat everyone special. I would recommend Olsky's without hesitation!

I discovered Olsky Jewelers through a client Lisa R. who was a fan. I noticed her beautifully crafted mother's day gift-- stackable handcrafted bands by Martino and had to get one myself. Since then, we've bought a few more pieces and also trusted them to fix a few of my other pieces. They all came back to us as good as new, if not better. They will be our go to place for quality and reasonably priced jewelry.

Hey Missie B., People like you are what make me hate the internet. Get a life. I have been coming here for years and over that time this has always been the place where I have come for major life events. Birth of my child I purchased a necklace that opened up to show a picture of our new born and a picture of myself, my wife and our son. Howard Olsky resized the pictures himself and put them in the necklace for me.

I have also purchased beautiful jewelery for christmas and birthdays and most imporantly my wedding band as well as my wifes wedding band. Needless to say, they were reasonably priced and beautiful. Please don't let idiots like MIssie B. deter you from stopping in here. Everyone in here is extremely nice and knowledgeable and they all go above and beyond to help you find what you need.
