Eve custom made a ring from an earring. The stone mimicked the northern lights and I wanted to reuse the one I had (lost one). It is a very pretty design, been wearing it for years and it looks great.

This is an amazing store that never fails to delight. Eve is a consummate artist. She creates new lines continuously and can also repurpose your old jewelry. She is a pearl expert and has lovely and unique strands of pearls from all over the world.

Eve is such a remarkable woman and incredibly creative! We loved working with every staff member at the gallery and will definitely be back!

This gallery is difficult to describe, as is Eve Alfille, herself. The enormous range of materials, stones and gems that comprise the jewellery is astounding; it's a cross between a museum and a jewellery store. Anything you have dreamed of or imagined can be made by Eve, and a zillion gorgeous things that she envisioned are just waiting for a good home.

I adore pearls and nobody knows more about pearls than Eve, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. Eve's knowledge and talents about all things that make up the world of fine jewellery and jewels can't even be described in an online review. This place is enchanting and enchanted - you need to see it and all its parts to believe it. I grew up in a family covered in jewellery, and my husband and I have never been anywhere else since meeting Eve 20 years ago.

We made an appointment and felt very comfortable and safe inside (we don't even go in the grocery store these days!). The jewelry is beautiful, and Eve and her staff are happy to customize existing pieces AND design new pieces.

Flawless. The people here are top notch. They were able to walk me through a bunch of different designs and help me craft something truly special. They met every expectation and were constantly communicating with me every step of the way. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Buyer beware, I have been a customer of Eves for over 25 years. I have spent thousands of dollars at her gallery. It's time for her to retire. The craftsmanship, customer service, and quality has gone way down hill. You are greeted by a blue hair, un knowledgeable, dirty sales person in an ancient un kept studio. I recently ordered a custom ring and the work man ship was so bad the stones were falling out.

It had not even been a year and Eve charged me to repair the ring. why? Eve promised to send me a check but instead she gave me a a 25 dollar gift certificate. ( I can not even re string my pearls for this amount) I spoke to Eve directly and she promised to send me a refund. Weeks went by and again I spoke to Eve and she assured me the "check was in the mail and must be slowed down due to the election ballots. "(We have a new president and I still have no check) Eve you need to retire your workmanship is poor, your customer service is awful, and you out right will lie to your loyal customers. Eve would not even clean my jewelry? ( due to coved she said) seems odd I can get my teeth cleaned at the dentist and not my jewelry at Eves studio.

This is awful customer service. I am trying to keep businesses open by patronizing them but it needs to go both ways. Loyalty It's not appreciated at this gallery save your money and find a new, young, designer. Some one who will be there and that will stand by there products and live up to there word. It saddens me that Eve would dissolve a relationship of 27 years over 30 dollars. That's why I'm warning you. Don't do business with this gallery your be sorry in the long run. You won't get what you pay for.

This designer has the most imaginative jewelry ever! She will design something for you or you can pick from her wonderful collection of one of a kind pieces.

Bought my beautiful engagement ring from Eve and then immediately moved to another state. A few months later the pearl came loose in it's setting. Flash forward to 5 years later I moved back to Chicago and Eve fixed my ring free of charge. Through out the whole process of buying a custom ring and fixing it Eve and her staff were more than polite, they were friendly and understanding. I would absolutely recommend her to all who ask.

Eve is an extremely talented designer of jewelry and a kind, loving and dignified person. Her store is an artistic setting for display and sales of her jewelry items as well as the glass works created by her very talented daughter. Eve's staff person Katie was of great assistance to us in our choosing and purchasing a special gift for a friend, delving respectfully into our friend's needs and desires and ours.

We found the ideal piece of jewelry and had a good time as well, with small glasses of white wine and snacks graciously provided. We have been customers of Eve's for many years and intend to remain so for life.

Over the years, I have both acquired jewelry created by Eve and altered family jewelry with Eve. She has been phenomenal in coming up with ideas for how to change and improve the pieces I have brought to her, and the work she does has been simply exquisite. So when it came time to obtain an engagement ring and wedding bands, I knew that I wanted to work with Eve.

She was able to create beautiful pieces for me, and the gold they were made out of matched the Russian gold rings I already wear. Eve also made a gorgeous wedding band for my husband, making sure it fit his preferences, lifestyle, and the design of my rings. Prices are reasonable; pieces are beautiful, and so imaginative! And Eve has always offered her time and one-on-one attention to personalize each piece.

Eve recently crafted my wedding ring and a gift for my mother. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. She is wonderful to work with, is a talented artist, and has a great gallery and professional staff. Her prices were very reasonable. I will be returning to her for all of my jewelry needs. 10/10

The exotic pearl collection was very good. They also had gemstones, high karat metals and fine diamonds. We were pleased with the selections offered at our price point and the customer service was excellent.

Eve Alfille studio is one of the most exquisite jewelers I have ever come across. Her settings are entirely unique and elegant - above and beyond the plain designs that can be found at most every other jeweler in the Chicagoland area. They have a wide range of styles and price points, so any customer will find something to love there. I recently had a custom gift designed for my fiance from a stone that had sentimental value. Eve's studio provided the best customer service and the pendant itself was so gorgeous and striking - he is constantly complimented on it whenever he wears it!

Eve and her staff are amazing. Everyone is extremely helpful, very attentive and knowledgeable, and always remembered me when I would call or come to the studio. The jewelry is incredible and very unique. I am so glad to have worked with Eve - definitely recommend!

Eve is amazing to talk to. She's an archeologist and uses mythologies in her designs. She even has a fan club. Every piece of jewelery she designs is special and has it's own story to go with it. The only complaint I have is her staff won't let you speak to her without an appointment, not even to say hi. It seems rather odd and I wonder if this direction came from her which would be sad.

Lovely, unique jewelry, designed by Eve, fabricated in the shop and available nowhere else. That plus the lovely people who work there make this a wonderful place to shop.

This is a great place to buy jewelry. The staff is super-friendly, and I've always had a good experience being there. Each new collection brings a unique product to the jewelry market. I'm not particularly into jewelry, but even I am amazed at the creativity exhibited there.

So cool, and he is right here in Evanston! She has stories behind all her styles and often names the individual pieces she creates. The shop itself is so cool and filled with gems & unusual pearls. Wow! If you have a family piece or a stone you want made into an heirloom, go to Eve!
