Really phenomenal and professional family owned jeweler. I had sadly lost my wedding ring and was on the search for a jeweler to design a new ring for me. I found spitz and they delivered. They ended up recreating my old ring but elevating it and making it better than the first. The round center diamond I also got from them and was pleased with its quality and price.

Fast forward 2 years since that all happened and I am very pleased. Anytime I go in even for a cleaning, I am greeted immediately and treated well. I have also purchased others pieces from them. highly recommend.

Highly recommended for all your jeweler needs! Wonder staff always welcoming with an expert team you can trust your most treasured jewelry for cleaning or repair. The process is very thorough and everything is logged, photographed and tracked. They resized my wife's wedding band and fixed my ring. One of the best in the Bay. Totally worth the drive for such expert craftsmanship.

I have to give a huge shout-out to Spitz Jewelers. Yesterday afternoon, I brought my mother's engagement ring and her wedding band in to be repaired. The diamond had fallen out of the engagement ring, and the wedding band had to be cut off in the hospital. We wanted them repaired and resized. At first, the jeweler said it would take 7-10 days, but when I explained that my mother was gravely ill, they said they would do it overnight.

Sure enough, they called this morning to say the rings were ready. What beautiful work they did! Because of Spitz Jewelers, my father was able to put the rings back on my mom's finger which he first did 67 years ago. We have pictures and a video that will forever be of value to my family. Thank you so much!

This is the only place I will bring my jewelry pieces to be repaired, modified or updated. The quality of their work is amazing and the staff is very knowledgeable. I also like that is it a family owned business that has been in our city for many years. Always look forward to my visits there!

I highly recommend Davidson & Licht. They are the best in town, way better than Tiffany & Co or any other jewelry designer store out there. I cannot say enough good things about them. They have good variety of high-end and rare pieces that are very classy and beautiful. Not only that their merchandises are good quality, their services are also top not.

The entire staff are super nice, from the owner to the security guy., they always greet me and my partner with the biggest smiles. They work with me every time, to make sure I choose the right piece and that they take their time to accommodate and to answer any question we have. Not to mention, I love the coffee, candies and the champagne that they showered me every-time I am there.

I am glad that I got the most beautiful engagement ring and a fancy watch that I adored and loved everyday. A Big shout out to Ruslana. She's always so sweet and so personable. She always went above, and beyond to find me the-one-of- a kind pieces that I would love and she always took her time to make sure that I tried on different pieces until I found the right one.

My boyfriend and I went to Spitz, after getting many recommendations, for engagement ring shopping and left feeling so content. Kevin helped us choose a ring. I never felt rushed and he was extremely accommodating. It was also lovely just having a conversation with him. 10/10 would recommend.

As the world can see this is 24k, KEVIN you lied to the people, as we all can see the facts are available as posted. 24k gold close to 260 grams. You guys are low ballers. Again you thought it to be appropriate to do so because you believed I wasn't educated and or not knowledgeable in this field so you took it as a moment to try and take advantage of me, by offering me 8grand. Bottomline your wrong!

Other AD's could learn something from Spitz. Incredibly friendly and deliver the watches you want in a timely manner. Don't have what you're looking for? They'll at least give you a legitimate timeline and follow up with you unlike other spots. So far I've bought a Speedy Pro and the NTTD Seamaster for my Dad's 60th. Came in to browse for a rose gold necklace. once I walked in, I was greeted by the owner. He showed me a catalog of rose gold jewelry he could order for me, since he had little to no rose gold necklaces in stock. After this, he had noticed I was wearing a gold necklace and insisted on testing the "quality" with some electro-meter type of machine. Side note - he suspected it to be "fake". (the necklace I was wearing was my baptismal necklace, I had never thought of it to be fake gold).

While probing my necklace with his electro prongs, he indicated to me that the necklace was fake. I was shocked that he stated my jewelry was fake. I wanted a second opinion so I went to Shane&Co (and had to scratch into my necklace to test for actual gold). And truth be told, it was genuine gold according to Shane&Co. The owner of this establishment lied to my face, in hopes of me potentially buying something from him. Do not recommend.

Spitz Jewelers team: Cheryl, Gary and Susan are awesome! They take their time with you no matter how large of a purchase. They are our go to jewelry store for all of our future jewelry purchases. Thank you for the appraisals, my and my husbands new wedding bands, and creating all of the pearl bracelets for my nieces and niece in laws out of my moms necklace. They all loved them!

My fiance and I came upon Spitz by chance when we decided to go shopping for my engagement and wedding rings. It is a cozy family establishment, and we had a nice older gentleman that took his time in helping us find the perfect rings. We had to special order our rings, but they made sure that everything would be ready well before our wedding date and that everything was to our satisfaction.

I bought an Omega watch and had an incredible encounter! Much thanks to you to Kevin and Fiona for helping me and for causing my better half and I to feel invited. They had an incredible awareness of what's actually funny and they took as much time as necessary to share itemized directions on the best way to deal with my new watch. I have never purchased anything from Spitz Jewelers but I found myself in need of repair on two rings, my wedding ring and my wife's wedding ring. Just to make this short and sweet, they did an outstanding job for a fair price and in a short time. Excellent customer service as well. All my future jewelry shopping will be done at Spitz in Walnut Creek!

I bought a hard-to-find clasp for my old watch and brought it to Spitz. They installed it in less than 30 minutes for a nominal fee. Great service and friendly staff! There's really no reason to go anywhere else.

Ok, fine jewelry isn't something you buy very often, right? You might be tempted to shop next door where they have a doorman and serve shoppers champagne but ask yourself who pays for all the extra fancies-YOU do! Spitz salespeople are super knowledgeable, their jewelers can make modifications and repairs, and the environment is relaxed. You can be educated about what you don't know without any condescension. It's our go to jeweler for special treasures!

Typical low-end retail jewelry location. Very elitist attitudes from the staff. Detached and only mildly interested in my needs. What could be better. I went in to have one stainless pin replaced on my TAG watchband. Their "Repair Guy" was almost gleeful when he was " Up front" with a customer and could inform me that I needed to have both pins replaced.

His cat like smirk was almost comic. Must have been a slow day. The salesperson was right there and said nothing when "Repair Guy" told me he would replace the pin for$25. I am handicapped and walk with some effort and a cane. I am therefore a bit of a captive audience for retailers I meet. I unfortunately require a strong reason to walk away, and in this instance walk 2 blocks to my car and start over. Thus, I gave "Repair Guy " his win.

Twenty minutes later my watchband pin was replaced. During which time sales lady, name withheld, took the opportunity to show me watches from their limited inventory. Lots of bling and flash here. What an opportunity lost to earn customer appreciation and promote positive customer good will and earn future business. Absolutely every professional and reputable jeweler I have visited over the years from Aspen-to Tahoe to Mill Valley to San Francisco has handled this kind of situation with style and grace. An offer to replace the pin as a courtesy would have been pleasant and appreciated, but absolutely not required.

In the alternative, a reasonable charge was expected. I am posting this review as I believe a small experiences like this is wholly representative of more significant future experiences. These guys are very dollar driven. I will not be back.

Took my wife's engagement ring in to get resized. They did an excellent job and we really love how their German Shepherd hangs out on the floor, she's so calm and loves to be petted.

Spitz jewelers is awesome. I've been going to them for my jewelry repairs for a while now. Every time I've brought them my rings or watches for service, they give excellent customer service. Today I brought in two watches and one ring. One watch needed a battery, the second watch needed to be sized and my ring had to be re-plated /dipped.

It was all done on site and in a timely manner. Fiona (I think that was the young girls name) was super helpful and so was the jeweler working on my pieces. He even offered to polish the watch I was wearing (I love my watches). Thank you Spitz Jewelers!

Est jeweler around! Susan is amazing. She knew my name after the first visit and that means a lot to someone when you are making any large or important purchase. Susan made me feel like a Queen which honestly, who doesn't like that? They clean my jewelry for me at every visit - no matter where the jewelry came from. Susan is easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and will help you find ANYTHING you want even if its a price specification.

I am very happy we chose Spitz to redesign my engagement ring and I look forward to many more purchases in the future. Not only is the service amazing but the quality is, too. I've never had problems with my older Spitz ring and the quality was ultimately what made me come back. I cannot recommend them enough!

I went into Spitz Jewelers yesterday with a pair of earrings I've owned for many years that are unfortunately broken at the hook. These earrings are good quality, but not fine jewelry and I'm not pretending they are. I came in just to ask if I could ever possibly fix them after just visiting Davidson and Licht where one of their jeweler turned his nose up at me and seemed insulted I would ever ask about how to fix a pair of earrings that weren't real gold.

How dare I, right? I thought if I ask people who work with jewelry, they could provide any expertise on repairing a hook. I think that's pretty harmless and maybe 2 minutes out of someone's day? I was shocked by how annoyed the Davidson and Licht jeweler was. He shut down the conversation, handed me my earrings back and that was it. Imagine how you would feel after that exchange?

I left feeling hopeless about my earrings and embarrassed for even trying. My boyfriend who was with me encouraged me to go next door to Spitz to ask them. "Maybe they will understand and be nicer" he said. We went to Spitz and yes, they did have some hesitation since they aren't real gold, but you know what? They tried anyway. In fact, they offered to replace the hooks with simple gold wire because my they knew my earrings meant a lot to me.

I can't explain how more incentivized I am now to go back to Spitz for anything jewelry related in the future and to tell others of how warm of people they are. The associate the helped us, I wish I remembered his name right now, was kind, funny and made me feel welcome. Please keep doing whatever it is you're doing! You clearly value every customer with dignity and respect. Thank you!

Spitz is a fantastic family run business with an amazing selection of new and vintage jewelry. In fact, Spitz has the best vintage jewelry in the East Bay! Both my 1930s wedding ring and my 1910s cocktail ring came from here, after I visited many shops looking for the best pieces. The owners took care to understand my style and budget. They even switched out the main diamond in my cocktail ring before selling it to me, after they discovered a small chip partially obscured by a prong. It may have taken years for me to discover the chip, but they were totally honest and wanted to sell a high quality ring. I will continue to support this wonderful business.

My wedding rings accidentally became coated with mercury I was afraid nothing could restore them. After Spits Jewelry cleaned them they looked better than new. Beautyful! SO HAPPY!

Excellent service. Took my engagement ring to get resized a couple of sizes larger and you can barely tell! They were able to do it same day since we dropped it off early. Kind and courteous and informative. Come to Spitz Jewelers for all of your jewelry repairs!

$20 watch battery and free cleaning with Yelp check-in. It took all of about 10 minutes. While I waited, I noticed many beautiful engagement and wedding ring sets. Definitely V1 and greater. Something I'll keep in mind for the future. Oh, on the service; The jeweler removes the battery, blows out any dust/particles, inserts a new battery, checks the movement, reseals the watch, and buffed the crystal and case. My Shinola looks a good as new!

Staff was friendly and jewler was detailed at explaining the what's and why of the repair and cleaning. It took less than 2 weeks and came to me looking as if brand new. Repair of one of the diamonds that fell from my wedding set (I neglect to have it tightened and professionally cleaned every 6 months as recommended). It's princess cut and that makes it more suceptable to becoming loose, according to at least 3 jewelers I've taken it to over the years.

My boyfriend and I have recently started the very daunting task of searching for the right diamond and band that aligns with our taste and fits with our budget. We were very lucky to come across Spitz Jewelers. I think it's always intimidating for two young adults to walk into a jewelry store hoping to spend a small investment on a stone for forever.

The vibes we were getting from Spitz Jewelers was totally opposite, Cherl was the one that sat down with us to help us. She was genuinely helpful, real, funny, and knowledgeable. She didn't try to up-sale us, we didn't feel judged and she taught us so much about diamonds! She really worked with us to make us feel comfortable, and I really appreciated that.

I was really interested in rings with thin dainty bands and they had a great selection! My favorite one was the one pictured here. I was so much more appreciative of Cherl's service here when I we walked into Davidson and Licht's Jeweler next door - which was totally high brow. Spitz Jeweler's welcoming vibe was very apparent to us when the rep from Davidson and Licht started "mansplaining" to me why a thin band won't work for me when I told him that I wanted a thinner band when he showed me one.

He didn't want to show us anything and talked to us like we were beneath him so and we decided to just walk out of there. So the point here is go to Spitz! Way better service, great selection!

Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, I have become a regular customer, I highly recommend them.
