Yadegar Diamonds is an amazing jewelry store! Not only do they have absolutely stunning and unique pieces, the staff and service are unparalleled. Jay Yadegar is my personal favorite. He has helped my now fiance and I for the past five years with ring, necklace and bracelet purchases, and most recently with the selection and purchase of my stunning engagement ring. Jay is extremely knowledgeable, patient, warm and friendly.

Working with Jay is like shopping with your best friend. He always gives his honest opinion which makes him trustworthy. You want that when you are purchasing jewelry and I really appreciate that about Jay. And what's best, he always offers to clean my jewelry. Such a nice perk! I couldn't be happier with my engagement ring and bracelet purchases. Jay and his team know all their customers by name and go out of their way to create a warm and inviting environment for them. Arpa and Jay were very professional, went above and beyond with outstanding services when my husband searched for the right gift to celebrate our 10th anniversary this year. Arpa spent time explaining the difference between the 4Cs and consulted us with all our questions. She understands that this is not just a gift, but this diamond symbolizes the love and compassion our family has built over the years.

We spent a couple of months, and finally, she found us a beautiful loose diamond with excellent qualities that checked the boxes within our budget. It is a unique 1.49 karats loose diamond perfectly with the solitaire ring setting. I LOVE the ring, and my husband is thrilled that he found the perfect gift to celebrate us. Thank you to Yadegar Diamonds, both Arpa and Jay. They made our 10th-anniversary even more memorable!

Jay is a thief, do not shop here! He failed to get my wedding band repoured to the correct size, so to get it done in a hurry he "took down the inside, " essentially defecting the ring. When he finally did get it repoured it was a different ring entirely, and he wanted more money. Plenty of options at the jewelry mart, look elsewhere.

After tirelessly looking at many websites and other jewelers, we found J&J Yadegar Diamonds on a whim. And thank goodness! They have not only exceptional service but exceptional diamonds and craftsmanship. The owner was very patient through the process of selecting a band and when my husband and I were unsure, he ordered loose diamonds and other rings within our budget that were available in 2 days.

He listened carefully to what I wanted and was excellent in delivering just that. He was transparent and went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable with my purchase and got the best possible price. The ring came with appropriate certifications for appraisal and was boxed beautifully. My husband and I are so happy with this gorgeous sparkly piece! We look forward to purchasing more in the future, as well as referring all our friends and family to J&J Yadegar.

This review is long overdue, but I would be remised if I didn't mention how in love I am with my tanzanite ring, earring, and necklace pendant set. I worked with us to find exactly what I wanted, and created a gorgeous custom set for me, truly one of a kind. The tanzanite is a stunning clarity that is like a violet color. I will definitely be a remotest customer. Thank you again J and his team!

I can't say enough good things about Jay! After a whole day of visiting different jewelers, exhausted and more confused than ever, we decided to stop by Yadagar Diamonds. Jay took his time to sit down with us and get to know my now fiancee's vision for the perfect ring - a tough thing for her to do as she was overwhelmed with the so many selections out there. Jay then was able to narrow down what she had wanted on his computer and had us come back to look at some curatedloose diamonds.

Within two weeks, we both left very happy with the perfect engagement ring! Not only that, but we decided to come back initially to try to design a custom ring enhancer but ended up buying three more gorgeous stacking rings! I would definitely recommend this place to anybody who wants personal service in their jewelry buying experience. Ran into Jay & Jay Yadergar on a complete fluke! My wife and I came to the center to repair her wedding band and as we were waiting we decided to look around at the other shops. My wife found a ring she fell in love with and Jay treated us with respect and no pressure. I even found a piece for myself that I had been looking around for, for over a year.

I didn't purchase on the spot as I wanted to do some research and Jay was completely okay with me leaving and coming back several times. Even after I decided not to purchase the piece I wanted he still treated me well. I left and got my car and had to come back. I tried on a few more things and finally made my mind up and Jay made it happen!

Jay at Yadegar Diamonds was great to work with and helped us get my wife the most beautiful diamond wedding ring ever for our anniversary. He was very honest, straightforward and communicative. The quality of their work was fantastic and he provided all the certification so we felt like we were in good hands. I was happy to see he was able to work with us during this difficult time of the pandemic and didn't miss a beat. Thank you Jay!

DO NOT BUY BEFORE READING THIS! BUYER BEWARE After purchasing a diamond, which the gentleman seemed pleasant enough, didn't seem like anything to worry about. The next day I received a call after purchase that the diamond actually was no good. The Merchant showed us one diamond in store that looked amazing, then don't know what changed, we can give him the benefit of the doubt that no shady business was done on this end and human mistake. Fine.

I then asked the merchant for a full refund, as it wasn't even 24 hours since payment, and he himself said he chose a damaged diamond. The merchant then tried to strong arm us and force us into a new one of his choosing. When you spend almost 20k, you don't want to be forced into anything. He then gave a partial refund, and said he's keeping some for the work he's already done.

Keep in mind he didn't have the diamond, and we purchased 4pm June 8th and he called me 9am June 9th. WHAT WORK! The worst part was, the disrespectful approach, him cursing, talking down, hanging up on. Not a person you want to be in business with. DO NOT BUY! I filed a complaint with the better business bureau, the city business bureau, disputed all charges on my credit card, have a file of all his text messages and voice mails.

Feel free to contact me with questions. BUY FROM GREG AT DERCO JEWELRY, right next to this store! He made everything better for me, even with this nonsense I had to deal with. Got a better ring, better price, and real service. Don't fall for the trap at Yadegar. ***updated response below since business owners response*** Text messages from jay show he's lying, I always wear a mask, judging from his previous posts, his tactics are clearly to make stuff up against reviewers and flat out lie. You'll see this same theme with all others. My credit card company has disputed the charge he didn't want to refund and issued me a credit. I'll reiterate my original post. STAY AWAY!

Highly recommend jay at Yadegar diamonds we just had a custom ring designed to what we found somewhere else jay made it right my fiance loves it we just went back to get our wedding bands and will definitely be going back in the future for more jewelry. Quality jewelry for reasonable price and great customer service for sure!

I had aggressive dates (had an event that was perfect for proposing pop up) and Jay did everything in his power to ensure that we found the exact stone, and deliverd it on time. I was recommended to Yadegar by my boss who has bought a bunch of custom jewelry here before, and it's easy to see why. Jay was extremely friendly and helpful with my girlfriend and I when we were looking for an engagement ring. I wound up spending far less than I had planned and got exactly what we wanted. Literally could not have asked for a better experience and will be back for all my future jewelry purchases.

10/10 Amazing experience. Not only does Jay know his stuff, but he is 100% honest and transparent and works his tail off. Despite me being inexperienced with jewelry and diamonds, he worked with me and communicated with me for weeks to find exactly what I wanted. He was able to create an engagement setting exactly how I wanted it and he got me fantastic diamonds to choose from at a better price than any other place I had been shopping around for in the previous months. Jay Yadegar at Yadegar diamonds provides great service along with delivering very fine products. If you come in with an idea, even one not very fleshed out, Jay will help. He's a creative guy who takes pride in getting you what you want. He likely has something he's made that comes close, or he will design and make what you want. I've dealt with him on both. He's not pushy and offers better than fair value. He's responsive and a good communicator. Will do business with him again, and again.

We have known Jay for about 10 years. We would go up to the Diamond Center to a particular showroom and by chance, we stumbled into Yadegar. He made me a beautiful sapphire and diamond bracelet. I've gotten a few pieces from Yadegar and will continue to drive in from the Easy Bay to work with Jay! The service was wonderful, he helped me figure our what I really wanted in a diamond, Size? Sparkle? Color? So I would to be happy with my stone for years. And I am! And I feel I got more stone for my money there than I would anywhere else.

When I wanted an anniversary band he helped me out - and even when I came back later and wanted to make a change - he was easy to deal with and really knows his stuff! I absolutely recommend Yadegar Diamonds!

I first stumbled into the showroom located on 888 Brannan Street a few months ago, looking for my wedding ring, and immediately felt at ease. The owner, Jay, was welcoming but not pushy and at no time during the experience did I ever feel pressured to purchase or feel that he was "upselling" me, which had been my experience in almost every other jewelry store. Instead, Jay listened, asked questions, and zeroed in on exactly what I was looking for, before I even knew exactly what that was myself.

In addition, Yadegar has a big selection of (all kinds of) rings; which also suited me perfectly, as I'm a visual person needing to actually see and feel the rings on, prior to purchase. Most other jewelry stores didn't have that kind of a selection of rings, especially stackables, and kept telling me that they could make it if I showed them pictures and/or drew it up - YIKES!

Fast forward to today, my fiance and I went back and purchased not only my wedding ring, but his as well. Needless to say, Jay has made lifetime customers out of us and we highly recommend him/Yadegar Diamonds & Fine Jewelry!

Thief. I am heart broken to find out first hand that Jay cant be trusted.he literally took one of my friends diamond earings when he cleaned hers and replaced it with a fake diamond. When she went back he fixed the problem by giving her another set of diamonds. When appraised by another jewler they were poor quality. Went back to confront and Jay gave her diamonds back to her. They were found in his case, in a new setting and with a price tag for sale. Shocking but the reality.

I came to see Jay with my brand new fiance a couple of days after he proposed. I liked the ring he had picked out but I needed something a little different. Jay listed to me when I explain that working in the medical field meant I had to wear gloves over the ring, and he helped narrow down the design with his impressive inventory. He was very open about what was and wasn't possible with each piece and made absolutely sure that I would love it. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with and I recommend him to everyone.

My fiance and I spent months looking at rings. I've changed my mind multiple times on what I thought I wanted. About a month ago, I've decided on my perfect ring but we didn't want to pay the designer price for it. My coworker recommended this place as she got something done here and had a great experience. I emailed Jay to ask if he was open on Labor Day weekend and sent him a picture of the ring I wanted.

He was very quick with his responses! We came in that weekend to get a quote on the ring. He was super helpful and helped us stay within budget. The ring itself was made very quickly and he was able to mimic the ring for a fraction of the price! My proposed to me shortly after getting the ring from Jay.
