I had Even James size the bracelet of my Seiko watch for $25.00. James made no mention of the possibility of damaging my watch in the process of sizing it. I came back several days later to get my watch. He had removed two links and gave me back my links and tube and collars in a sealed envelope, never mentioning that he had damaged some of the parts.
When I opened the envelope I saw that one collar was missing and one pin was bent and unusable. (See the photo.) When I returned to the store about this issue he said, "That's an awesome job compared to how they should have been." This is an exact quote. If Jame's idea of an "awesome job" is losing one part and destroying another, I wonder what his idea of a bad job is? Even James is a fake jeweler and clown, as evidenced by his shoddy workmanship and pathetic excuses.

My husband and I had a delightful visit and fully enjoyed browsing the large variety of jewelry available. Julie provided outstanding service and helped us design a simple yet elegant pair of Morganite and Rose Gold stud earrings. Evan handcrafted the settings himself and found beautifully matched Morganite gemstones. You will enjoy your time spent at Evan James and find something perfect for you.but if you don't, I've learned custom doesn't always cost more!

When I lost an old mine-cut diamond from my beloved ring, Evan James travelled to the diamond center in NYC and was able to find a beautiful diamond to replace the lost one, identical in size, cut, and color to the other two. He then reset all three diamonds in a new setting, identical to its original 19th century style--which I have always loved. Mr. James does careful, elegant work, and I appreciate his time and care in returning my ring to its former beauty.

I had come in recently and returned today to purchase an engagement ring! The staff is a perfect blend of professional and easy going. They offered to size the ring at no charge and it will be ready TODAY! I was also offered an appraisal for my insurance company (something no one had brought up before). The ladies at Evan James have earned my business and trust!
