I am pleased to give 5 stars to the Barsky family, staff, and Colin Kay for their exceptional service. It was 30 years ago that Harold and Anita warmly welcomed my husband and I into their store to purchase my engagement ring; finally, after many years, we returned to have a custom insert for the diamond. The complete set is stunning and brilliant. Colin is a fantastic artist and customized the double insert; the staff is very kind and will go the extra mile to satisfy the customer. Fantastic customer service. My Boyfriend and I went to Jeweler Row to brows engagement rings to see what looked good on my finger. Our experience at Barsky was like an experience out of a dream. Our salesperson got to know us and engaged both me and my boyfriend in the experience. It was truly a great experience- when we saw a few diamonds and after getting to know us as a couple our salesperson showed us the perfect diamond we didn't even know we were looking for- and the price was too good to pass up. So our window shopping day turned into a purchase! Honestly one of the best customer services experiences I've ever had- truly made me and my Boyfriend feel special.

Went here 10 years ago because a diamond fell out of my ring. Had great, timely service. Fast forward 10 years and another diamond has come out. Went back because of the great fast service. Constantly had to call and ask about my ring. They had it for 3 months blaming covid although the store was always full of associates and customers. Finally get my ring back and 2 weeks later another diamond fell out. Had my ring for another 3 months.

Just got it back in December. I was told if it happens again they will not fix it. The baguettes look as if they may fall out again. I'm scared to wear my ring for this reason.

Don't waste your time anywhere else, this is the place to go. I Was looking for a special piece that wasn't typical, wanted something different. The piece I chose was perfect, the service was top notch, the setting etc. My experience could not have gone better. Walk around jewelers row if you want, or just stop here and make it easy.

Nate at Barsky Diamonds worked with me on a sentimental chain I had from my childhood that I was interested in having cleaned as well as lengthened. The piece turned out beautifully and the customer experience was top notch and made me feel valued, picking it up and seeing it made my day. I definitely recommend Barsky Diamonds and will keep in mind for future jewelry.

If I could, I would rate 10 more stars. If you change your mind A-LOT like me, you have come to the right review. It's not easy shopping for an engagement ring. Like most women they like to be surprised, unfortunately, I do not like surprises. for many reasons : We started with Barsky back in 2009. Yes, you read that correctly. We come to their location probably two, or three times a year.

Guess why? I change my ring constantly. I upgrade our diamonds and make changes to my jewelry pieces. CONSTANTLY! I am "that" person. I am more ashamed sometimes but if you are like me, and you LIKE changes. then this place is for you! When I say if you have something in mind, it can be executed. No matter the circumstances. When your rings need to be cleaned, enjoy the city while you wait.

Walk around town. I am not too proud to say this, but I have changed my engagement ring, wedding bands and rings. more times than I can count. I mean that in a humbling way. The reason I explain this, is because Nathan has patience, knowledge, customer service and humbleness. It doesn't matter what type of changes I want, he ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS makes it happen. 09'- engagement ring 12' - changes to ring 16' - more changes to ring 17'- entire new setting kept princess diamond center stone 18' - added new band behind new setting 20' - upgraded center stone to round diamond 20' - added new band w/ upgraded stone 20'- added additional band w/ more diamonds I would never go anywhere else. Nathan is the perfect person.

It's hard finding that "perfect jeweler". you think you're being too picky? you change your mind too much? you want the bigger stone? you want the smaller stone? Every change can be made at anytime. They will execute everything perfectly!

Barsky is quick and easy to communicate with. I broke my ring and they had it repaired and looking beautiful in no time! I frequently get compliments on the unique design of the ring. Highly recommend!

From an engagement/wedding rings, to every other life event that has followed, Nathan and the Barsky team have been amazingly helpful in their jewelery support/guidance. Each piece is beautifully crafted. They offer wonderful repair/maintenance for life's wear and tear on their pieces. We live in California now and we still haven't found a new jeweler out here because no one has been able to match Barsky's service! They really make you feel like family. It is a must stop for any jewelry needs in Philadelphia!

We went to jeweler's row in search of a gold necklace chain to match an heirloom pendant. We were greeted and helped by Ron and we couldn't have been more thankful. He was very pleasant, accommodating, and made us feel very comfortable. He made sure that my pendant fit to the necklace and packaged everything very nicely. My fiance purchased my engagement ring at Barsky in September 2020. We both could not be happier with the ring! It is the most beautiful ring I have ever seen and I have received so many compliments on how sparkly it is. My fiance said he had an excellent experience shopping with Nate. Amazing experience here at Barsky Diamonds. from the beginning straight through to the end delivered product. There's nothing like having someone that looks out for the customer. Went to Barsky very last minute for our wedding bands. We had the pleasure of being helped by Nathan. We told him we had a budget for our rings but also wanted to try to squeeze in an extra gift for someone in our bridal party. Nathan worked with us and we were able to get all three items within our budget. It was so easy and they are rushing our jewelry so we get it in time. Thank you so much for making this part of our wedding planning easy during the chaos of COVID!

Ron was our jeweler for our engagement ring and it came out perfect. It's been almost a year now and my fiancee and I still look at the engagement and said, "Wow". We recently got our wedding rings there and Ron is custom making my fiancee's wedding ring to go with her engagement ring. Honestly I couldn't have dreamed of a better jewelry experience than at Barsky's with Ron.

I normally don't leave reviews because I normally don't receive service that is worth my time either way to write a review. about 7 years ago I met Nate. He sold me a engagement ring. The girl didn't like the ring so we ended up exchanging it a few days later. so after 7 years of this girl consistently showing me that we should probably never ever get married.

I finally broke up with her and returned that ring. since I was shopping for a new ring for the love of my life. Nate gave me exactly what I paid for the ring to put towards the new one. He gave me a great deal on a 5 carrot diamond. told me he would have it set later in week. I said Nate I need it tonight. now mind you. I walk in spend over a hour there had all these stones out, settings, etc. Iam getting nervous go out side for a smoke and seen a stone in the window that was already in a setting and he pulls it out of window plucks it out of its setting places it loosely in another setting. that's when I chose.

I wanted to propose that night but wasn't prepared to make the complete purchase. He said he normally would never do such a thing and let me leave with it not being paid in full not to mention setting the stone while I waited. well he did it all and made us the happiest couple alive! Everything went smoothly she said yes on October 5th. Nate and his team went above and beyond for us!

Never have I experienced patience and trust like I have at Barsky! So this week we purchased our wedding bands and yet again. nothing but patience and attention to detail. Even remembers what I do for a living and steered me away from a much more expensive band that wouldn't have fit my lifestyle. It's a great feeling when you don't feel like your being ripped off!

Not only do these guys build great jewelry, they also build great relationships with their customers. I'll be back for the diamond studs! Nate thank you and everyone in the store for all you have done for us! You guys are the best!

Seems very sketchy. Went to shop for an engagement ring with money to make a purchase in the spot if we found the right place. Pretty rings but the price on the ring is not the price, so you essentially pay whatever the sales person wants to charge. Felt like dealing with a used car salesman, be prepared to bargain. Also can the other sales people do something else than stand there tapping their fingers on the case next to us while we shop?

They are so professional and knowledgeable. They sit with you and work with you to find it in our case design the perfect ring. My now fiance said they were so easy to work with during the design process. It's a no pressure atmosphere which makes the process of looking a complete delight. We are definitely going to go back and look at wedding bands in the near furniture. Thank you To the whole Barsky team! You are now in our memories for ever.

Customer service here is not great. The sales person was very pushy, accused us of lying about prices that we saw of a similar item in another store- saying that it was impossible because his cost was higher (economy of scale lesson needed here I think). When looking at other items, in the store that was empty we were basically kicked out. The case was closed, a card was thrown out at us and we were told to have a nice day.

I think it is because we're from out of town, but the sad fact is that both of us do business not too far from this place and there were actually a few items that I liked. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

Well, I was contacted by the owner & at that time wasn't sure if I was going to give them 3rd try-I pretty much at Boiling Point. But I did, called back & went in on Sat -Spoke to Ana & she was helpful. I'm not New to Fine Jewelry, I do know I little bit bout them. And after speaking to the owner, I told her I REALLY wasn't happy with it in its entirety. Talked into the chain, talked into the smaller diamond-& to make matters worse-came back twice since it was botched.

We started all over & she even said we'll mail it out to you, sent me to Nate-other owner-to pick out my diamond. After couple minutes we found it! It has arrived & I can say I'm satisfied with my (Original ) choice & got what I lost -trying to replace. Thank you for Help & time. : )

Great experience! My fiance bought my ring here and I needed it sized. They were very quick at getting it done. John who was our salesman was very helpful and always pleasant. We have since been back to make 2 other purchases and will continue to shop here for future jewelry needs. I highly recommend that you skip all the other jewelers in that area and go straight to Barsky!

Best store in Jewelers Row hands down! This is the place to go for Jewelry! Recently made a purchase for a Engagement ring recently and what an awesome experience! The staff are remarkable! John was absolutely amazing and without question one of the most knowledgeable non-pushy gentleman I have ever bought anything from! Natalie was is a true master of her talents as I knew what I wanted and she waved her magic wand and produced way above the expectations described. Nate and Jeff definitely have a Gem " On The Row" here!

I will let my FIANCE' (yes, I am happy about those capital letters!) chime in about his experience purchasing from Barsky. But my understanding is that they made him feel comfortable and even knowledgeable by providing insightful information before his purchase. He asked me on July 29th and I said yes! Beautiful ring! And I do believe that we will return to look for bands. Hope they welcome us back!

Barsky has amazing customer service, super friendly and knowledgeable staff and great prices! After visiting 10 other Jewelers in Philly, we decided on Barsky because we loved the family atmosphere and huge selection of diamonds and engagement rings. Rick truly knows how to make a ring look good! He helped us select the right size side diamonds to match up with our cushion cut center diamond on my halo engagement ring. I recommend Barsky to everyone and we will be back in May to select wedding bands.

I can't begin to explain how much I love Barsky. My father came here 30 years ago for my mother's engagement ring and then several other beautiful pieces of jewelry since then. Naturally, I wanted my engagement ring to be from here so I went several times with different groups of girlfriends leading up to my engagement and every person we met with were so personable and took their time with each of us.

I have been working with Nathan Barsky on designing my custom wedding bands and have gone back several times to work with him on every nitty gritty detail. He has been so helpful and made this process very easy for my and my fiance. I am so excited to see the final product in about a month or so and would highly recommend this jeweler over any other in Philadelphia, because they truly make you feel like family as soon as you walk through the door!
